OlderShannen Doherty Moves Back to 90210?
Shannen Doherty is in talks to star in the new spin-off of Beverly Hills 90210, reprising her role as Brenda Walsh, according to EW.
The 37-year-old actress will not commit to the role until she has seen her character’s storyline and is apparently asking for money than she is currently being offered.
Shannen’s former co-stars Tori Spelling and Jennie Garth have already agreed to reprise their roles in the series. But a source reveals that, “There’s still some animosity there,” and that Garth wasn’t exactly jumping for joy upon learning of Doherty’s potential hiring.
However, Garth then said, “A lot of time has passed, and I’m a big girl. I’d have no problem with her coming on the show.”

I think the show went down hill when jennie garth became the it girl. I never understoof the shows writers logic. In my opinion Brenda made the show–I stopped watching when she left.
They can do without bringing garth back, she was boring then and still is…

Yes! Agree with what most here said. I stopped watching 90210 after Brenda left as well. I have never liked Kelly so if they had to choose I would rather have Shannen back than Jennie.
SD was the best thing about 90210. I stopped watching after Brenda left. I wasn’t planning on watching the remake, but if Brenda is back I will. I am not sure why they aren’t just making a follow-up with just the originals since many are coming back. I could care less about the teen aspect to the show.

Maybe for a few episodes for old time sake. Brenda really got on my nerves the last year was on the show. Shannen is a great actress, though a bit of a nightmare to work with from what I have heard. No wonder Jennie may not been keen to work with her again.
