Kelly Clarkson is TOAST
Kelly Clarkson celebrates the 4th of July by grabbing lunch at Toast Bakery Cafe with two of her close girlfriends on Friday.
The 26-year-old original American Idol is currently recording her fourth studio album with many collaborators including Sam Watters, Louis Biancaniello and Ryan Tedder from OneRepublic (”Apologize”, “Stop and Stare”). Sam and Louis also wrote and produced the song “Anytime”, which appeared on Kelly’s debut album Thankful in 2003.

ok. this conversation has gotten a little nasty. kelly writes and carrie writes. kelly is southern so is carrie. kelly won idol and carrie won idol. i believe these girls have some similarities. let’s not make this a who is better than whom conversation. those of you that are criticizing kelly’s forum, or whatever it is… you seem to be pretty critical yourself. i don’t think there is a winner in this fight. let’s just be thankful that we have two wonderful artists out there giving us music we enjoy listening to. oh, and let’s not forget how much work these two put into their profession. this is the main reason they have staying power. keep up the good work, girls.

How the hell can you forget her? She’s probably one of the only “real” celebs around. And i’m not just saying this because “i’m a kelly fan” but her music and her voice is amazing. The fat remarks come around every year..blah whatever. I know she’s not size 0 but she is NOT fat. Get over yourselfs.
Oh and i don’t think “us kelly fans” are mean. I use KCUK and i don’t see where the nasty topics are. I have no problem with Carrie, she’s not my type of music so I won’t judge her and say Kelly’s better because I don’t listen to Carrie’s music so how would I know?
Kelly is a great singer, but she is not the best songwriter. Avril Lavigne is way better.
And Avril ´s style is way better than Kelly ´s. Avril is better than Kelly in every way except singing.
Kelly is a kick a$$ songwriter. Hello “because of you” for example and there are plenty of other songs that she wrote that are awesome and well written. But hey whatever.
why does it always have to be about who is better? avril is a great songwriter and so is kelly. there is room in the music world for more than one great songwriter. if you are looking for great songwriters try listening to patty griffin or ryan adams.
Kelly is just too fat. She lost her vitamin water ad to Carrie Underwood who is the picture of health btw because of her weight.
Kelly looks unhealthy too. Eats the wrong foods.
There are too many cute, cool, slender girls who can sing just as good as Kelly.

Sooo, nothing against Carrie, but she will NEVER be as big as Kelly Clarkson. Just go to like any place outside the US and chances are that they don’t have a clue of who this Underwood chick is, but they sure as hell will know who Kelly Clarkson is.
Carrie might have sold more cds in the US and have won more Grammy’s (all very well deserved, don’t take me wrong) than Kelly as of now, but she is mostly famous in the US only and how hard can that be. Look at how many untalented people sell records and became famous now days, come back and compare Underwood to Clarkson after she sell MILLIONS of records worldwide. Kelly had most of the world fall in love with her and her music… Doubt Carrie will ever do the same: she’s too plain.
i think kelly clarkson is beyond talented and has an amazing voice and she looks great i dont see why anyone would ever feel the need to go out of their way to say or post something negative about her or anyone else for that matter . i mean at the end of the day do they feel like a better person for putting other people down? if they do i feel sorry for them!

For those who say Kelly isn’t fat: ARE YOU ON CRACK? Sorry, but Kelly is overweight by about 40-to-50 pounds…at least! But I guess the people excusing her appearance are the same people who have similar (or worse) eating habits: McDonald’s in the morning, Popeye’s for lunch, KFC for dinner, and Dairy Queen in between. It’s no wonder the U.S. is the fattest nation on Earth. It’s not only an image issue, it’s also a health issue for crying out loud. Quit making excuses for her and enabling her, people! Get your vision checked and then take another look at her photos. It’s really a shame because she is cute. However, she’s obviously in denial about her weight. She should take her weight-gain seriously while she’s still young because it’s going to be much harder to address as she gets older.
