The kids had a blast. We were at the beach every day. But after almost 4 weeks of being gone, we were all ready to come home and see Daddy. Hope the babies don’t come while you are at work. You would miss all the excitement. Any big plans for today?

Hi Real Tita, happy 4th of July to you! NYC is cloudy and probably will rain, but the kids and hubby went to a party to watch the fireworks from Randall Island with friends. Me, I just twisted my ankle yesterday morning on the way to pick up my daughter, did a full day of schlepping, only to start feeling really bad pain last night so hubby taped it up now…. so I’m going to watch it on TV…

just wanted to stop by before work and say Hello and Happy Fourth of July to anoble, Felinelilly, vickifromtexas, Bailey, Mondo Bongo, the real tita, soopx, and Yes (i’m not sure if your here…) :D

My kids are going completely crazy with lego, watching youtube videos. If you search “lego sculptures” on youtube, you will see all kinds of crazy crazy stuff! They are so into it that I just eBayed sets of used lego LOL! They have been using Duplo (big ones for kids) but they now want the ‘real’ ones.

LOL - I know, my son started with the big ones too - he is 16 and still has a big storage container of them under his bed. This guy in the cnn story actually sells his sculptures for tens of thousands of dollars

Perfectly understandable why Cliniqua, Jill et al get emotional about the ‘fake pictures of Jolie, or the intrusions of the children’s privacy by the media. Also understandable, is the effort to bring them down. It’s poor journalism and it’s wrong.

The clamor to bring down or moderate the threads in my view, is logistically impossible. That JJ has stooped down is true, though it is not the first time and I HOPE, WON’T BE LAST ONE !

The problem with the petition is logistics. To say that Internet Blogs (literally millions of Infoentertainment) travels like a tornado @ 150 miles per sec is an understatement. More like the speed of light - 186,000 miles per second. Just try to moderate the flood of infoentertainment - you’ll surely sink. It’s a losing proposition.

That Aniston, Huvane et al PR machine will respect journalistic boundaries - you’d be dead wrong. Forbes with it’s thousands media outlet is a tool for these filth. And they are just startin. The storm is coming. Ominous would be an understatement.

That these unfortunate Jolie fake pictures are sustainable basis to challenge the First Amendment Rights; that the Chief Justice will in our lifetime moderate Free press and Free speech - you’d be dead wrong.

The clamor to bring down these thread is emotional response - and emotions are the worst response to a raging havoc. Calmness and intuition are.

If the argument is JJ is above reproach - you’d be dead wrong. I say JJ - join them. If JJ will not print them, 999,999, 999 like it, WILL @ 186,000 miles per second. Make no mistake - market’s supply and demand is the driving force behind. Spreading filth is a high rated commodity. The GREEN speaks is a powerful voice, and will out race moralistic values all the time.

That the integrity of journalism is alive and well - you’d be dead wrong. Edgar Murrow is long dead - and so is good journalism.

JJ’s participation with these raging filth may not be a moral answer. But it is the only answer . If JJ acquiesced to folding threads, to what forum do we get to combat these filth ? That it makes money for its participation is fair and equitable.

I say FCUK the petition ! If JJ was deemed to be in that elite quadrant of internet blogs, then we should trust its editorial decisions. Emotions are random and unsustainable hysterics, and have little or not value in intelligent debates.

Imagine if JJ becomes so pious - that war mongering Some Chick, i.e Aniston, will be running havoc with sea of salacious and malicious lies. With a blog that is more friendly we can shift thru the filtn and offer persuasive and well placed arguments.

It’s an individual choice - in the sea of filth - you either sink or float . I opt for the latter.
