Zac Efron & Vanessa Hudgens Jet Off To Vacation

Like this is little more than a publicity stunt. Shame on Disney for promoting unmarried, young adults going on a romantic vacation together. I thought they were a ‘family’ company. Of course it’s not ruining the fabric of society, but it certainly doesn’t help improve ideas about certain situations, ie about whats acceptable (one could make the case for as to why all those teenage girls in Massachusetts are having children to the many unmarried young celebutantes in Hollywood having children, films like Juno and Knocked Up make these situations seem okay)…. I’m just saying . . . .

Just when I thought I heard everything, now Zac and Vanessa are promoting teen pregnancy. Forget the fact that they have no children and have been a couple for three years. What else can we blame on them, the war in Iraq?, recent floods in Iowa? I know teen pregnancy is a touchy subject, but the only way to prevent it is education. I have three sons the youngest nineteen with only one grandchild (the oldest has been married 3 years) because I didn’t rely on Disney to educate my sons. Somethings began at home.

Wow. Way to misinterpret what I said. I wasn’t implying that Vanessa, Zac, or Disney were promoting teen pregnancy; if you would refer to the post, I said that certain other celebs do that, as well as other specific films. I just don’t think that it’s appropriate that they go away together just the two of them at that age, that’s all I was trying to say. Of course such lessons should come from home, tee, I hope no one is relying on Disney or any other films, I’m just saying they’re out there and they do influence people because not everyone has a great upbringing. And in all fairness, Disney tries to pass themselves off as having a sqeaky-clean image, and while I think these two are great, I just don’t think it’s appropriate. All I’m saying.

checking in late tonight for a quick visit — man I enjoy reading all these posts — I can’t believe how intrusive people can be when these two are obviously trying to take a private vacation - but I am thrilled they have now gone from Friday morning until Sunday night and no one has spotted them — yeah — and the intinerary being blocked — that is perfect !! — how much more obvious that they don’t want people to know where they are — I really appreciate whoever has helped them with the planning of this vacation — if you read the USA Today article that came out — I think it was Lucas who said at the end of filling they were all “physically exhausted” — we know Ashley and Corbin actually finished up a week before the others did last Tuesday, then think about Vanessa - she left SLC and went immediately to NYC for a 3 day trip where she was really busy so I imagine she really needed a day or two to just “sleep in” or what ever — let’s let them rest folks - they have worked hard and we don’t need pictures — let’s just enjoy the fact that they are away and resting or doing whatever they think is fun on a vacation.

And thanks to all of you fellow Zac and Vanessa supporters — you are doing a great job deflecting all the haters or curiousity seekers. Keep it up.

Hawaii has many private spas and resorts but the beaches in front of the spas and resorts are not private. Tourists and paparazzi alike are free to wander on the sand.

I see what you are saying. they are an unwed couple going on a “romantic” vacation together, alone. however, i dont think that this is promoting anything bad or making disney look bad. we know they are supposed to keep these squeaky clean images for disney and they are trying their best. but they are 20 year olds. It’s not like they are 15 and going on a vacation together. and just because they are going on a vacation together does not automatically scream they are going to be partaking in some things that may not be so “disney like”. what you’re saying is that them being unwed and going on the “romantic” vacation is sending kids a bad message. it’s not.

i went on a vacation with my boyfriend to my families beach house when I was 17 for a weekend just the 2 of us. Does that mean I am setting a bad example or sending the wrong message to other people just because we stayed at a house alone by ourselves out of wed lock? considering nothing happened that wouldn’t be “disney like”
