Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck take their daughter, Violet, 2 1/2, to the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angles on Saturday.
Here’s one more synopsis of a film that Jen has in the works with producing partner Juliana Janes: “The Garden of Last Days, which is based on a forthcoming book by Andrew Dubus III (House of Sand and Fog). Intellectual Property Group controls the book, which Vandalia (Jen’s production company) will produce with an eye toward Garner starring. No writer has been set.”

This is also in reponse to #4 Nicole Richie Fan, I understand that is one of the things that lead to the breakup of Bennifer. JLo wanted to control Ben by having him dress up like a “movie star”. He is more confortable being himself. He doesn’t like living his life in the tabloids. She has Marc Anthony for that now. They seem to be better suited to each other. I like this couple. They are more low key and down to earth. Violet loook kinda sad. She is very aware of the paps unwanted presence and their effect on her parents.

Violet is NOT cute!! Neither is Jennifer. I think Ben always looks unhappy because he IS unhappy. He and JLo were really happy and they were always laughing and loving with each other. I thik Ben really misses those days. And JLo-being with Skeletor!
Little princess Vi is soooo adorable. She is a perfect mix of the two. She ’s got Ben’s chin, nose, facial expressions, profile, height and body. She is’ got Jen’s eyes, dimples, limps and skin. She’s def. got her grandma’s hair. Ben’s mother is blond.
I definitely think Jen is preggers. She gained some weight and her boobies are bigger lately. She is also covering her belly all the time and her clothes is loose. If you pay close attention to her belly “region” you could tell something is going on and looks different there. I really think Vi is getting herself a little brother or sister soon. It is also nice that Ben is so protective of his girls and that he carries their bags and opens up doors for them. So nice of him. I LOVE GARNER-AFFLECKS.

There are quite a few rumors out there that Jen is pregnant again. She always has something covering her stomach. Whether it’s a bag or little Violet’s leg, her belly is always covered. Anyone else think this is true?

its funny how jennifer is always giggling and happy with violet when they are by themselves and the paps are taking pics, but almost always looking miserable and stern faced while they are out as a threesome with ben.

Oh that is right a few pics taken from a whole series of pics.
First, the post that says they were never photographed together before the rumors,um well, that is not true. Check around sites and you can see photos of them. Better yet check Just Jared and you can see photos of them on 2 different outings a day before the rumor was started by Ted.
Next if you bother to look at more pics of them, you can see that Jen isn’t smiling most of the time that she is with Violet either. The pictures of Jen and Violet coming out of Daves last week, she is smiling when she comes out the door. Her picture was taken and that is the one all the sites use. There is a video and if you watch it, you can very clearly tell that she is annoyed with the photographers.
An example of how pictures don’t always tell the story. There are some other sites that are just showing the picture of Jen in the red shirt and Violet, saying that they (the 2 of them) were at the market yesterday. They don’t include, nor do they say that Ben was there. WHY? Because that feeds the rumor that they are never together. But, it is not true as you can see here on Just Jared. Pictures of all 3 of them.

41, Actually what was really funny was when Ben begged Jlo to go back with him and she told him that it was too late lol!!!! He was so sick after the last break up he couldn’t keep anything in his stomach. Jlo moved on from that nuckle head a long time ago and she is living out her dream. She has two beautiful babies, is married to a latino superstar and they look very very happy. Unlike Ben and Garner they look like they are bored with eachother. He had to marry the byotch because she got preggers…she looks like Doctor Spock. One uglie byotch. They both deserve eachother, I hope the paps don’t leave them alone!!!!

If you are referring to that article in Star or whatever garbage paper it is……..Don’t let them insult you by believing what is written.
Many of the things in that article can be easily cross checked. Look at some of those pics closely and then check out Just Jared or any other pic web site, you will see the pictures for what they are……..cropped pics to make the story look the way the mag wants it to.
Some of the things in there simply aren’t true. Like Ben not spending Father’s Day with Jen and Violet. Well, that is not true, we saw pics of Jen getting items from a store and then saw pics of Ben with Jen and Violet, that very next day.
Again some of the pics they use in the article, if you check the whole pic series, you will see that Ben is in some of them, just NOT the shot the mag. chooses to use. Why you ask? Then it wouldn’t sell mags!
It’s funny to read because most of the stuff they wrote saying days and times of different things, this web site and others have pics and stories that disprove most if not all of it.
The pic in the mag of him with poker chips, is from last years benefit A. for Africa. If you check Wenn, or Getty they have the whole series of pics from that benefit.

The reports are that Yes, Ben was upset after the break up with Jlo, anyone would be that loved someone and thought they were going to get married.
If, however, you bother to read some of those stories from 2004 they will clearly show that it was indeed BEN who called off the wedding and engagement.
What did Ben do after the break-up, lets see. He did Saturday Night Live, where he made fun of himself. He spent that Christmas overseas with the Troops.

Okay, if this “article” isn’t a prime example of Jen Garner pimping out her kid then I don’t know what is. How does info about one of Jen Garner’s projects make it’s way into an “article” about a family outing to the Country Mart? This is obviously an attempt to publicize a project she wants to get off the ground that’s not a problem but she should leave her kid out of it. I’d feel sorry for her husband, too, but he’s such a loser he’s just getting what he deserves.
Yeah, and Kevin Smith also talked about how cavalier Ben was toward Jen until she got pregnant. He didn’t take her seriously at all; she had to fight to keep his attention. I was at the taping for the “Evening with Kevin Smith” Part III that was taped in New Jersey, so I heard it myself. Jen Garner has an excellent PR team; if Ben had left her alone and pregnant, that would have been the final nail in the coffin for his reputation. I think he genuinely loves Violet, but I think he’s just tolerating Jen.
#4 is some kind of weird case. I’ve seen dozens of pictures of Ben smiling over the last couple of weeks. Also, he is in his mid-30’s. I think he’s old enough to put on a top and pants without his wife getting involved in his clothing choices!

When I was at the Evening with Kevin Smith taping, he was talking about when they were dating- not the making of Daredevil. He specifically said that Ben Affleck was cavalier toward Jennifer Garner *until* she got pregnant, so he was talking about when they were dating, not when they were making Daredevil. Yes, this was several years ago, but I think it’s relevant to today because it would explain why Ben Affleck seems disinterested. But they are just photographs, so who knows?

Jen can’t put Violet in sunglasses, even if it would protect her eyes- she has to make sure they’re recognized for the paps, and she couldn’t possibly go out without her own sunglasses. No one would know she is a *big movie star* if she didn’t have her own oversized glasses on!
I have a friend that used to work on Alias, and he says Jen found out Vartan was gay that’s why she split with him, not because of Ben. Everyone knows Scot Foley split with her because he was angry about all the work she was always doing for Alias, and she tried to find comfort with Vartan but all he could offer was friendship. That was fine for a few months, but she needed a “real” man. There are lots of closet gays on Alias he said.
i’m not a fan of Vartan’s, but I know he’s not gay. He dated one of my friends a couple of years ago but just disappeared after a few dates, seems he only likes women with DD breasts. Be careful, though- his attack dog Simone will be on this board before you know it if you start talking about Vartan.
It’s pathetic that Jen Garner’s so-called fans have nothing better to do than drag Michael Vartan into this. Scott Foley was suspicious of Jen having a fling with Ben Affleck during Daredevil; Jen leaned on Micheal for support during Alias and then used him as a rebound since Ben was still tied up with JLo; Jen dumped Michael for Ben as soon as he came to Elektra; and then she, Ben, and Ken Olin got together and had Michael Vartan fired off Alias in the fifth season. Jen Garner should count her blessings that Michael is a big enough person not to bad mouth her publicly and call off her attack dogs. Her “America Sweetheart” image could go up in smoke in a second if anyone who actually knew her talked publicly, and no number of pictures with her daughter would help her if the truth came out.

Why are you at each others throats? What gives? When I worked in NYC back in 2000, I met a nice lady who worked in the entertainment field for over 20 years. She told me she knew a lot of celebs. I mentioned cute and adorable Ben Affleck and her comment back to me is one I still do not wish to believe to this day only because I like the actor but here it goes “Ben is gay!” I said “How would you know? She told me before Ben became oh so famous, three gay male friends of hers had lunch with him and he was about as gay as gay can be with them. Im in denial so I thought “Liar!” Mind you she could be full of it. Maybe Ben and Jen are both gay but desire to have a family. Jen might be a lesbian which would explain a lot. I never knew til today that Vartan was supposedly gay and I also heard Scott was apparently too. Mind you this is all heresay. I don’t think anything is wrong with being gay but it does affect your marketability in Hollywood.
Hey Kat, a guy that dates a woman for 10 years and doesn’t commit sound fishy to me also. That’s nothing to brag about and certainly doesn’t prove his manhood. Pus there are also rumors that he wanted to marry Jen. She followed her heart and is very happy for it.
Truth of the matter is this banter could go on forever and nothing would be resolved. The ones who know the real truth are probably laughing at all of us.lol Why don’t we just agree to disagree and be done with it. It was fun while it lasted, but I’m getting a little tired of it.
In parting, I will say again…I LOVE THE AFFLECKS and I will support them until the end. Especially Jen Garner. She is my girl. I adore her and her little flower Violet. I kinda like Big Ben too. He is so cute.
BTW, Who is Vartan’s girlfriend now:? Its been four years hopefully he has one. HE certainly has no career.

I thought I was through but you guys won’t let go. Jennifer Garner needs no defense. When did she ever say she was Miss Goody Two Shoes? That label was hung on her by people she came into contact with. I think it’s in reference to her persona, the way she treats her fans and her desire to keep her private life separate from her professional life. Let’s say for the sake of argument, she did dump Vartan for Ben…would that make her unemployable in Hollywood. I think not. In case you hadn’t noticed, ****** rule Hollywood and the box off. Hardly a career killer.
Can someone please tell me what the hell Michael Vartan’s sexual preferences have to do with the state of the Affleck’s marriage?? Or why he even needs to be brought up in the first place - it’s been FOUR FREAKING YEARS. Let it go already and stop dragging a guy who made the unfortunate mistake of getting involved with that woman through your bull.

Instead of pointing fingers maybe it’s time to realize that Jen and Ben aren’t the perfect cute couple you all imagine them to be, and that any blame for any problems in their marriage rests solely with them.
I personally don’t think there is any trouble in their marriage any more so than any other couple might have. I think people want drama. If they don’t have it, they create it. They thrive on it. That’s why they call the Garner-Afflecks boring. That’s what’s pathetic.

Also, I do have to say that Jen and Ben do seem to be predictable for the papz, as they visit the Brentwood Country Mart on a weekly basis. Maybe, if they went outside the comfort zone we would see less photos. Just say’n!
