Jennifer Garner and husband Ben Affleck take their daughter, Violet, 2 1/2, to the Brentwood Country Mart in Los Angles on Saturday.
Here’s one more synopsis of a film that Jen has in the works with producing partner Juliana Janes: “The Garden of Last Days, which is based on a forthcoming book by Andrew Dubus III (House of Sand and Fog). Intellectual Property Group controls the book, which Vandalia (Jen’s production company) will produce with an eye toward Garner starring. No writer has been set.”

Well, rather than reading the gossip mags (because let’s face it that’s all you can be reading like everyone else) I look at *how people act.* Since when has Ben Affleck carried about someone being married? He didn’t care with JLo. Since when has Jennifer Garner cared about being in a relationship? She cheated on Foley and Vartan. And no although I know you’ve read that Garner *just happened* to move from relationship to relationship with time off in between, its a little bit suspicious when it happens multiple times not to mention a pregnancy that just happens to lead to marriage. Go ahead and believe all the publicity stuff that says this just happens but if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck…

I just happen to know a few things, because I have read them. Again, just because it is a blog, you can’t try and say what it true? That is crazy!
We saw, last week, how quick an untrue rumor spread across the internet (Ted and the divorce thing).
It has certainly become a sad state on the internet when people just expect to read garbage, untrue things, and so on.

Betsy, wouldn’t that be nice if we could talk about the here and now. But, somehow in each and every new set of pics the whole Jlo thing comes up again. I guess I am guilty in bringing up the past for trying to post that the statements made are incorrect.
But, somehow I think people writing some of this already know that before they hit the submit button. Just trying to a hornet and stir the hive.
The stuff you back things up with are a bunch of lies. See I’m smart enough to look at how people *act.* Ben didn’t care about anyone’s marriage when he went after JLo. Jen didn’t care about marriage when she dumped Foley for Vartan or her relationship when she dumped Vartan for Affleck. Oh, I guess you really believe that all these things “just happened” so conveniently. Not only are you self-righteous, you’re stupid. Real nice. And yes, people can post whatever they want on blogs because of a little thing called the First Amendment. Try reading about that.

I would like for someone to tell me when did this dislike of Ben Affleck come to be? Was it because he realized that his pending marriage and previous engagement to JLo and all that it entailed was not want he wanted? Please if you can, in all honesty, what does it stem from? Did this man do something horrible that we don’t know about to cause people to sprew such hateful things about him and his lovely family? Lies and untruths don’t count. It must be factual or at least be supported by evidence relating to the matter. Not just tabloid tidbits. Help me out here.
When I was at the Evening with Kevin Smith taping, he was talking about when they were dating- not the making of Daredevil. He specifically said that Ben Affleck was cavalier toward Jennifer Garner *until* she got pregnant, so he was talking about when they were dating, not when they were making Daredevil. Yes, this was several years ago, but I think it’s relevant to today because it would explain why Ben Affleck seems disinterested. But they are just photographs, so who knows?
LOL! I stated *facts* not publicity bullsh*t. Done because you can’t come up with anything to explain their behavior besides more lies that you’ve “read.” ROTFLMAO!
Kevin Smith does a comedy routine. It is like the comment Ben made about Matt Damon gaining weight. These boys have been friends for a long time and joke with each other. There is also a joke Kevin Smith tells about Thanksgiving at S. Spielbergs house.

I could give you so much information it would make that thing that sits on your shoulders spin. But, I woudn’t imagine that the one brain cell you have remaining would be able to handle it.

Kevin Smith said also that the only problem he could see with Jennifer Garner was that she was married to Affleck and not him. Ben said when he saw that Jennifer could hold her own with Kevin Smith, her cool points shot thru the roof with him. Kevin Smith adores Jennifer Garner and she likes him to. I don’t believe he ever said anything unkind about Jen G. unless he was joking.

Jen can’t put Violet in sunglasses, even if it would protect her eyes- she has to make sure they’re recognized for the paps, and she couldn’t possibly go out without her own sunglasses. No one would know she is a *big movie star* if she didn’t have her own oversized glasses on!
I have a friend that used to work on Alias, and he says Jen found out Vartan was gay that’s why she split with him, not because of Ben. Everyone knows Scot Foley split with her because he was angry about all the work she was always doing for Alias, and she tried to find comfort with Vartan but all he could offer was friendship. That was fine for a few months, but she needed a “real” man. There are lots of closet gays on Alias he said.
i’m not a fan of Vartan’s, but I know he’s not gay. He dated one of my friends a couple of years ago but just disappeared after a few dates, seems he only likes women with DD breasts. Be careful, though- his attack dog Simone will be on this board before you know it if you start talking about Vartan.
It’s pathetic that Jen Garner’s so-called fans have nothing better to do than drag Michael Vartan into this. Scott Foley was suspicious of Jen having a fling with Ben Affleck during Daredevil; Jen leaned on Micheal for support during Alias and then used him as a rebound since Ben was still tied up with JLo; Jen dumped Michael for Ben as soon as he came to Elektra; and then she, Ben, and Ken Olin got together and had Michael Vartan fired off Alias in the fifth season. Jen Garner should count her blessings that Michael is a big enough person not to bad mouth her publicly and call off her attack dogs. Her “America Sweetheart” image could go up in smoke in a second if anyone who actually knew her talked publicly, and no number of pictures with her daughter would help her if the truth came out.
Kat - Yes, he disappeared after a few dates. That tells you everything! I know their MO–I’ve been tricked myself by guys who’ve wanted me to be their “beard” Its unfortunate but believe me I have nothing against gays, but pretending you are straight is deceitful.
No, that doesn’t tell you he’s gay- that tells you he’s a player. He had a girlfriend for something like 10 years. I think your barking up the wrong tree on this one.
Why are you at each others throats? What gives? When I worked in NYC back in 2000, I met a nice lady who worked in the entertainment field for over 20 years. She told me she knew a lot of celebs. I mentioned cute and adorable Ben Affleck and her comment back to me is one I still do not wish to believe to this day only because I like the actor but here it goes “Ben is gay!” I said “How would you know? She told me before Ben became oh so famous, three gay male friends of hers had lunch with him and he was about as gay as gay can be with them. Im in denial so I thought “Liar!” Mind you she could be full of it. Maybe Ben and Jen are both gay but desire to have a family. Jen might be a lesbian which would explain a lot. I never knew til today that Vartan was supposedly gay and I also heard Scott was apparently too. Mind you this is all heresay. I don’t think anything is wrong with being gay but it does affect your marketability in Hollywood.
Hey Kat, a guy that dates a woman for 10 years and doesn’t commit sound fishy to me also. That’s nothing to brag about and certainly doesn’t prove his manhood. Pus there are also rumors that he wanted to marry Jen. She followed her heart and is very happy for it.
