OlderJordin Sparks is July Fourth Festive
For the second straight year, Jordin Sparks celebrates ID4 by performing during Macy’s Fourth of July celebration in New York City on Friday.
The 18-year-old American Idol champ performed her latest hit song “One Step At A Time”, which you can watch here.
“Having the people be here and lights, it’s like the city that never sleeps,” Jordin said before performing. “And it’s just like once you get out here you’re just like, ‘You know what? I’m good! I can do this! I can perform at this now! I’m good!’”
You can also check out British singer Natasha Bedingfeild’s performance of “Take me Away” here. Country crooner Kenney Chesney sang “Never Wanted Nothing More” and can be seen here. And lastly, Gavin Degraw singing the Star Spangled Banner can be watched here.

I liked Jordan’s performance. I like all her songs. Didn’t care much for Gavin’s though.
I love Jordin Sparks. But I can’t wait for her to be in her twenties so that she start singing songs other than hip songs she is singing right now. She is just eighteen so she is soooo hooked with these types of songs. I think her voice should be directed to more classic songs — just make them more modern.

I totally agree with her top, “not liking it at ALL” but love Jordin’s singing! I have Jordin’s CD and love ALL of her songs! You go girl!!
