Maddox and Uncles James Visit Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s 6-year-old son Maddox Jolie-Pitt rides in a car with his uncle, James Haven, en route to Lenval Hospital in Nice, France today.
James is Angie’s older brother by two years. Obviously, Mad and uncle James were visiting Angelina Jolie, who is currently under observation before she gives birth to her twins “in the weeks to come.”
Isn’t Maddox’s new haircut the cutest?!

Brad is with Angie. This is a man truly devoted to this woman and his children. If you don’t like them fine. But no one can say this man does not love this woman and she loves him too. I love Mad. What a cool little boy. I know that he and Angie have a special bond since he was the first. and they had so many years when it was just the two of them. I remember seeing an interview where Angie said that Mad called Brad dad. That must have been an emotional moment for them all. Children are old souls. Brad must have felt a huge tug to his heart. That this little boy who had not had a father and must have heard other children call someone dad, use that word to him. Children pick the people outside of the parents that they love. Brad must have been very special to him; that he gave this man that title. I’m getting misty now.
Angie said in her Entertainment interview that Brad’s parents were on standby in case they were needed. I’m sure Mama and Papa Pitt are there, or on their way. They went to Namibia(sp), for Shi. With their second set of twin grand kids, I’m sure they would not miss it for anything. I think I’m right is saying that Brad’s sister has twin girls?.
Well much love to the whole Jolie/Pitt bunch. I hope for a boy and girl. Then we can kind of have a Brady Bunch set. 3 girls, 3 boys.

Brad is and has been with Angie. They obviously love each other very much. I have a great deal of respect for this couple. I remember in a recent interview that Angie said that Brad’s parents were on standby if they were needed. I’m sure they will be there, or are on their way. I was thinking about how close Mad is to his Mom. They have a specia relationship since it was just the two of them for quite a few years. I also remember Angie talking about the first time mad called Brad dad. It must have been a really emotional moment. Mad did not have a father, and Brad wanted kids so badly. It must have filled his heart that this little boy used this word for the first time towards him. I get misty thinking about it. Good try. French news says on Wednesday that Brad first brought Mad and Pax at 1pm to see Angie, left to return at 4PM with Z and Shiloh. Brad, Mad and Pax stayed the nite, Z and Shiloh was sent home later that nite. BRAD HAS NOT BEEN SEEN LEAVING THE HOSPITAL SINCE WEDNESDAY.

French news also says Brad was with Angie when she checked in and was back and forth visiting her before the news broke of her being in hospital, IN OTHER WORDS THERE WERE NO PIXS BEFORE THE WOLF PAPS WERE ALERTED AND BEGAN CHASING THEM!!

Who is doubting the caption in that article? Posters here are saying those same set of pics were captioned differently at the pap site that took them. People is capable of mistakes as was the case with the recent transcribe of Angelina’s Cannes interview where she said ‘Like most woman I love being pregnant…’ People mag printed ‘Unlike most women…’
Now again, if you really think Brad has not seen Angelina since Wednesday no one here can alter that opinion. One chooses to believe what they want. The more I think about it - the main purpose of the ‘fake belly pic,’ PLANTED and spread story, was actually to give the paparazzi an card-carrying excuse for making this entire family’s life hell, whether it’s stalking them in the street, chasing them down in cars, possibly endangering them.
That way, if anything ever happens and they come in for criticism for their incessant relentless hounding of these babies, children and Brad & Ange themselves, they will ALWAYS have ‘Well, Angelina WANTS it, she WANTS us to do this - look at the way she flashed her belly to the world and all the papz out her hospital window.’ SHE ASKED FOR IT and WANTS US TO HUNT HER FAMILY DOWN.

You go it wrong. The Maddox and Pax visit was in another day, July 1.
1) On July 1 the day we know Angelina is on the hospital there’s pics of Brad leaving the hospital with Maddox an Pax.
2) On July 2 there’s pics of Brad arriving with Zahara and Shiloh. They sleep there and Brad stays.
3) On July 3 there’s pics of Zahara and Shiloh leaving the hospital.
4) On July 4 there’s pics of Maddox arriving to the hospital. He sleeps there.
5) On July 5 (today) there’s pics of James arriving at the hospital and Maddox and James leaving the hospital

Maddox is so calm even surrounded by all the paps. His parents have made him secure enough to deal with the madness that invades their lives.
Why argue with the haters about Brad’s comings and goings?
It stands to reason that if we saw pics of Maddox visiting yesterday, but no pics of Mad leaving and yet, we get new pics of Mad visiting Angelina with Uncle James, that the photogs aren’t capturing the complete change of events.
Unless Maddox has gotten those rocket-powered sneaks that allow him to fly, I’d say that the JPs arranged for an alternate exit for the kids and Brad. Given that they identified that belly-exposer as Angelina, that is a ‘duh’.
Uh, what’s the big deal IF Brad is not staying at the hospital? They are parents who are very in tune with their children’s needs and have no problem with putting the kid’s needs before their own. Angie is a grown woman and would probably much rather have Brad with the kids if that makes the kids feel better.
I’m not saying he isn’t staying with her I’m just saying IF he isn’t then what’s the big f*cking deal with that?? Sh*t, it could be that Brad stays one or two nights with Angie and one or two nights with the kids. Brad & Angie have spoken about the routine they have with the kids and their individual time…..I don’t think they are going to stop that just because Angie is staying in the hospital, it just means Brad is carrying the load for now….like any good and caring father would! For all we know Brad could be waiting until all the kids are in bed then going back to the hospital to be with Angie! :-)
Speculation is useless…….the only sure thing is that Brad is making sure his kids are taken care of and happy and Angie knows he is there for her. How he is doing that is his own business!

You make very good points.
I love that Brad and Angie allow the kids creative freedom with their hair and appearance. Nothing about your appearance is so sacrosanct that you can’t have a little fun. It frees the kids from obsessing about looking like everyone else and lets them know variety and experimenting is a good thing and not necessarily permanent. And there is hair color that isn’t harmful at all.
As for the arrival of the twins. It could happen at any time. Isn’t that what the doctor said? They obviously want to go as many weeks as they can - that’s why she’s in the hospital in the first place, after all - but with multiples you just never know. Her situation, like any mother’s, could change overnight and require an immediate delivery. Brad knows that. That’s why he’s staying close by.
For those who said neither James nor Brad’s parents could be there because you had seen no pixs of them arriving in France, well proof that James is in France, he got there unobserved by paps, and if he didn’t fly in by plane then he has a magic carpet, right?
So how foolish some continue to be in their futile quest to deny the existance of a tight knit loving family.

He acts and directs, is very involved in charities, works with arts projects in LA area, and is very active in Saddleback a huge LA progressive Baptist Church. James and Doug Pitt are also very involved with a project for clean water in Africa and have had joint speaking engagements as to this project.
It is very common for siblings in the same business that one is more successful than the other. Ron and Clint Howard are one example, Michelle and Dede Pfieffer are another.

When Angie was about to pop with Shiloh, about one or two weeks beforehand, James Haven, Mama & Papa Pitt, Doug Pitt and his wife, & Jenny Shimizo - yes Angelina’s ex lover (sp?) all flew to Namibia. I live in South Africa and Namibia is on our border so our photogs were there, and jailed for getting too close (!). So what I’m saying is that Brad never left Angie’s side and the whole clan flew in at separate times. I believe Angie is very, very close to giving birth. For all we know, The Pitts have arrived already. I think it’s great that James is there and although I don’t love Angelina Jolie, I wish them all well.

You came into this convo long after it had morphed into something else. The original poster said she wanted to see Angie as a Bond Girl because she wanted to see her work with Daniel Craig. THAT is how the convo got started. I said Angie had already worked with Craig on the first LC movie and why should she take a role playing second fiddle to him when he’d previously been second fiddle ther and she’s the bigger star of the two (despite what “On My Own” thinks. I am also from South Africa which borders Namibia, and do not remember hearing any news or reports of Jenny S flying in, though I do agree that there were reports and photos of the Pitts and James in Namibia around the time of Shiloh’s birth. So I do believe that the time for the birth of the twins is very very near, only a few days away at the most. There were also reports of GClooney and his Dad visiting, and of MPearl and those associated with making AMH visiting which did not make it into the world press.
I wonder where Gen would have heard this about JennyS as it was not reported in the news and there were no photos. I do not believe this is true.

I know, because I was an asst to Santa Clause and carried his Depends and lots of Febreeze.

Until that time it is Brad and Angie’s private business as this is their family, not the general public’s business.
My understanding is that hospitalization before delivery in pregnancies with multiples is not so rare in France, and with Angie having a c-section with Shiloh, carrying twins, having a tiny frame, a wise medical decision made with caution is to have her in the hospital early in order to deal with any situation that might arise like a rupture of the c-section scar or any difficulty in the twin’s delivery like one twin being breech and the other not .
If you can remember back that far, 4 years ago Julia Roberts was hospitalized early with her twins as a precaution, and they were born a month early.
So Angie’s hospitalization makes perfect sense to me.

Not true. Putrid’s parents were very accepting and very fond of Brad. Brad was particularly close to Putrid’s father, Bruce Paltrow. It was PUTRID who was the snob. As for what Putrid was so snobby about? Entitlement, that’s what. She grew up in a wealthy family and people like that don’t always care where the money came from. She went to exclusive private schools and crap like that. The irony of course is that I’m sure some of the kids she went to school with looked down on HER because her parents didn’t come from old money and she was Jewish on top of it. In the crowd she grew up with they tend to be pretty harsh on non-WASPs. Although, IIRC her grandfather was in banking, so there may be some old money in the family on her mother’s side. Plus, she’s only Jewish on her father’s side.
As for Putrid’s parents - well, her father was a TV producer, director and writer for critical darlings like St. Elsewhere, Homicide and The White Shadow. He had a lot of friends in the industry and was well-respected.
But, you’re misleading when it comes to Blythe Danner. In her day she would have been more B-list than C-list. She’s won a couple of Emmys and a Tony (Butterflies Are Free). She’s well-known for her versatitlity because she’s always been able to move easily from one medium to the next - stage, tv and movies. I always liked Blythe Danner so I found it disturbing that she could raise a child as snobbish, shallow and self-centered as Putrid. The apple usually doesn’t fall too far from the tree, but in this case it seems to have fallen pretty damned far because Danner has never come off as a snob the way Putrid does.
So happy to see Maddox visting his mommy with his uncle James. The time is getting close and I can’t wait to see these adorable little cutie pies. Angelina fans will always stand by Angelina because she’s done no wrong, just assuming the worst doesn’t make it true. Always will be team Jolie!

Furthermore there were pix of James with Brad & Angie and all their extended staff at a local seafood restaurant that they rented toward the end of their stay. Jared had pictures of ALL of these events. Good Grief is Angie-Gate still going? I’ve only been posting on Blogger chats for a few months, but I sense the same trend as in other chat forms. People say IGNORE, but few do. Some defenders use almost as much bad language as those that they call haters. People complain about what is being posted and complain when they feel there should be MORE posts on their favorites. People have a tendency to fight the same battles over and over and over. Proof and logic never changes anyone’s opinion if they are set on being haters. I have posted a few responses to haters because at some point if you’re in here frequently a pack mentality develops; that goes for both sides. It’s us against them. My response to them doesn’t change their opinions, it’s strictly for me. The same applies to everyone else, you are waging these verbal battles because there is something in it for you, whatever it may be. It is what it is and I don’t see that changing no matter what Jared does. In fact, if there were NO conflicts about the Jolie-Pitts from haters, there would still be something for people to argue about. It’s the nature of human beings. We say we want the haters gone, but really do we? They do serve a purpose. You’re never going to have everyone agree on anything. I try however, not to stoop to their level by using the language that they do. Haters are not the only ones who bring untruths to the room, some of the Jolie-Pitt fans will go search for untruths and post them in the room with the purpose of disproving them. Heck some of that stuff I had never even seen before, but thanks to a fan I have now. Do we really need that?? I don’t like the lies being published about the Jolie-Pitts, but they are a fact of the business that they are in and they know it. I think we are more passionate about the lies than they are. Angie has said she and Brad laugh about the things that are printed. Can we at least not carry over the same arguments from day to day, week to week, year to year? We tell the haters to let it go; can we? I hear a resounding NO echo in my head ( lol) because that is the nature of chats and people. That’s why people who apparently have chatted in here are now gone. People you remember and miss and see time to time. But they don’t stay. After a while it just gets very old. I’m not trying to be preachy but just stating my opinion. Many say they want a better chat experience, then why not make it. Peace.

Serena was EXTREMELY p*ssed that Venus beat her. She was not very gracious at the press-con. She was maybe 5% happy for V. From the pics online, she seems to have gotten over it by the time they won the doubles. So happy for them.

Hey PT, she was a little bit. I got up at 6am to watched the match, and Venus was just to much for Serena. I am very happy for Venus, 5th Wimbledon title, that is awesome. I am very happy they won the doubles title. And I agree with you regarding Roger, he better kick ass tomorrow cause I will be getting up early for that match as well
PT, thanks for summing up and reiterating your opinion so well. I was responding to gena’s (in blue) post where she expressed excitement about seeing Jolie as a co-star with Daniel Craig in a Bond movie. I had read all the subsequent posts about it.
My post was referencing a number of discussions I’ve seen and participated in on film sites where the Bond fan boys suggested Jolie as the actual replacement for James Bond and not as just some other female in the series. It was an interesting idea and quite frankly I couldn’t think of anyone more suited to reinvigorate what is to me a tired franchise. The film sites are sometimes a welcome relief because they are almost universally supportive of Jolie as an actor. They are rarely even aware of the nonsense gossip or are at least smart enough to see it for the BS it is.
Jolie as Bond also reminded me of her discussion with Clint Eastwood at the Changling press conference when she joked about replacing Eastwood as Dirty Harry. I realize they were joking but that’s another intriguing prospect. All in all I still prefer her as Lara Croft. They just need to get a great director and a great script. I still like my idea for a Lara Croft themed nursery for girls. It’s all there - everything a little girl should IMO model herself after.
vicki, hope your 4th was good. Holidays hard for a while for me because my mom always made a fun fuss for holidays. I always remember my dad being the only one on the block in those days who hung a flag out on patriotic holidays.

Sorry the truth is this. I went through the caption on the paps pics and actually i was wrong and you were right . Let me correct this.
1) On July 1 we know that Angelina is on the hospital.
2) On July 2 there’s pics of Brad leaving the hospital with Maddox an Pax.
After he left the Maddox and Pax at Miraval and chaged clothes, Brad returns with Shiloh and Zahara. There’s pics of Brad arriving with Zahara and Shiloh. They sleep there. Brad stays.
3) On July 3 there’s pics of Zahara and Shiloh leaving the hospital with the BGs.
4) On July 4 there’s pics of Maddox arriving to the hospital. He sleeps there.
5) On July 5 (today) there’s pics of James arriving at the hospital and Maddox and James leaving the hospital.

I love Madd’s hair so much too. It’s interesting that some people here just jump on the fact that Maddox’s hair is bleached and “who would do such a thing to a child?”. I just died my kids hair with kool-aid and conditioner. You just mix it together like a paste, brush it in with your fingers or a brush and voila, dyed hair for a week or two. Since you don’t know what they did, why jump to the negative conclusion? There’s a whole bunch of ways you can let your child be “cool” and experiment with different things, without it becoming permanant. Get over it people! I think it looks cool and I think they must be doing a good job in raising this boy who is not afraid to try new things, which gives him a head start in not worrying what ANYbody else says. That’s courage!

Hiya Mi Amiga, I am glad you having a lazy weekend, it is good to have them every now and then. Saturdays are usually our busy day on the weekend and Sundays are our lazy day, but today we just went out for lunch and came back home and are just relaxing and been lazy, which I love. I am doing well, everything is wonderful with home life and work, getting ready to go to New York at the end of the month.
ITAWU regarding the family and James and Doug, if I am correct are already working on a project, I believe some one posted a link about a month ago on something they were working on. The whole clan are incredible, amazing, caring, giving and loving people, so glad they all came together

I didn’t get up to watch the final. I thought maybe if I skipped it Venus would win…and she did. So now I’m thinking about applying the same strategy for tomorrow! LOL. Lord knows getting up for the French final didn’t help Roger. I’ve NEVER seen him play such a crappy match as that final.
Serena is always such a sore loser, but at least she’s consistent and didn’t act any less peevish when it was her sister who beat her. Serena’s problem is that she’s NEVER gotten back into good enough shape. She still looks about 10 pounds overweight to me and that keeps her a step too slow. Against Venus that’s just not going to get it done.
BTW - At the final tomorrow I’ll have to look to see if Gavin & Gwen are in Roger’s box. I’m sure Gavin will be since he went all the way to Paris for the French final.

They are looking for the mole and if you know how Hollywood works, no one gets to the top without knowing his close friends and most importantly, keeping them close friends close. They get to really really know these close friends because they become the only ones that they trust. So, once those at the top see/hear things about them that just don’t make sense, they know IT CANNOT BE and so they go looking for the source. We are not privy to what is going behind the close doors but you bet, PR or No PR, the Jolie-Pitt are viciously fighting back . in some cases, it can come down to “no vote of confidence” for a movie belonging to the rogue. Hence, no potential investors and no movies. Other times, it includes lawyers playing dirty and behind the close door.
Case in point the Jolie-Pitt having an influence: Timor of Wanted said that if it wasn’t Jolie selling this movie to the studio, it would not have been made. She worked behind close doors to get the movie greenlighted. All that and some. Including living in the tabloids for 3 years.
Just because we are in the public and we don’t see any sign of aggression from the Jolie-Pitt DOES NOT MEAN it is not happening.

What Jen wants is to be a movie star, a respected one - if Variety came out and published an article in which they called her a failed movie star actress and every Johny come lately online and elsewhere keeps saying she is NOT good at acting then you know she got a problem as far as her acting goes. Funny that her PR has been unable to sell her as a respected movie star in Hollywood(lack of meaty and reclusive roles) and outside.
Initially, the PR was wining but then too much pity party came back to haunt her. Now she is remember for her divorce. Nobody is excited and looking forward to her upcoming movies because she had some pretty great roles. Jen’s personal life is more oscar worthy than her acting thus far.
Up to AMH and again now, Jolie’s acting is back on centerfold. Yes, her personal life is so far out there but her acting is still critically recognized and this year, she had made some money for the studios.
Jen is not in this field. And she will not be as long as she keeps doing those rom com movies. So, I say her PR has failed her careerwise.

Huvane jumps at any negative rumors that damages X’s ’sweetheart’ image, but will not correct anything that would be on her advantage, even if it is a false report. He is such a snake, and having a person like him work for her, X is a snake wearing a ’sweetheart’ mask, which makes her very scary and devious. So glad Brad got away from her evil claws.

I like Maddox’s highlights. His face painting, occasional fake tattoos, and clothes also show a lot of personal expression that Angie and Brad encourage. It’s fun to see.
No one saw James arrive, so we have no idea how long he’s been there. As there are four rooms in the hospital for “family”, he could have been at the hospital and not noticed leaving, or been at the villa and Jane Pitt is at the hospital, or the “grands” with or without James could all have been at the villa for some time, giving that special time to the kids, letting just one or two visit at a time with trusted bodyguards.
I personally believe that the PItts have been at the villa undetected, at least since Wednesday when Brad started to stay at the hospital all the time. And let’s not forget there are phones — they could be on the phone to Angie every day.

I like how the cousins play together in Missouri. I wonder if the Pitt children could be at the villa for summer vacation, playing with the Jolie-Pitt kids in all that privacy behind closed gates, on all those acres! It would be a great place for Julie or Doug to visit with the kids, especially at this time.

This was out of 20 female and male couples. It was on the TV guide channel earlier tonight. One of the guys said that Angie could really kick your a** and you would enjoy it! They talked about how beautiful she was as in “Wanted”.
Went to see “Hancock” tonight and I enjoyed it. It was a good movie. It is funny how a few of the reviewers said that “Wanted” didn’t make sense, and they think “Hancock” did. Please, it didn’t make sense either but was a good, fun movie, lot of laughter.
