James Van Der Beek Celebrates Fifth Anniversay
Actress Heather McComb passionately kisses her husband James Van Der Beek (of Dawson’s Creek fame) while riding on his hip over the fourth of July weekend at a beach in Malibu, Calif.
Van Der Beek and McComb (both 31) celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary today (Sunday). Since they’re both wearing red bracelets, it would seem that they are Kabbalah believers.

I met James at an airport about 10 years ago. He had flown from North Carolina (where Dawson’s Creek was being filmed) to NYC to be on Rosie O’Donnel’s TV show. He was really nice, kind of shy, and signed an autograph for me while we were all waiting for our bags at the luggage claim thing. He seemed like a pretty cool guy.
