Brangelina Babies Are Honorary Citizens Of Nice
The mayor of Nice, France said Friday that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s soon-to-be-born twins will always be considered honorary citizens.
“That is for the citizens of Nice a very great honor and a great satisfaction,” mayor Christian Estrosi said. “We are very happy for this choice of Mrs. Angelina Jolie and Mr. Brad Pitt and I want to say to them that I wish a lot of joy to them and the babies, and great success for all of their lives.” (Editor’s note: He meant to say Ms., not Mrs.)
The mayor affectionately called the twins “two little Nicois.”
Angie’s obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann, announced at a press conference last week that actress is due in “the coming weeks.”

I’ve also enjoyed CLINIQUA dedication to Angie. She’s a die hard fan and I applaud her for being a loyal fan. I’m also a die hard fan of hers and think she is one of a kind. I do rate her in the same catagory as Princess Diana.

Angelina is Brad’s sweetheart. Stop trying to give names that were used to describe others like America’s sweetheart and Golden Couple and insult Angelina & Brad with these labels. They may be nice on their own but these were labels to describe others or when Brad was with his ex wife. Brad & Angelina and their children are a complete family on their own. They don’t need labels or anything immature like that. They both have strong individual personalities that surpass any label the media or you might try to give them. Angelina has answered questions about how she would describe herself and America’s sweetheart isn’t one of them.
Brangelina deserve that honor. I am very glad to, also for the french citizens of Nice.

This is a ridiculous story…do you think this mayor actually makes every child born in Nice honorary citizens? Just a way to get more publicity by using Brad and Angelina’s unborn twins…
All I hope for is that Angelina has a safe delivery and they are left alone for awhile to enjoy their new babies…those camped outside the hospital really are sick people…after all, there are other patients there besides Angelina and I am sure they want some peace and quiet too…I hope they elude the cameras for as long as possible…
I deeply respect both of them just for putting up with the craziness that is their life…I’d have already moved my family to a deserted island to escape all this coverage…

Not me!! Cliniqua does Angelina a disservice about 80% of the time she posts — no matter where it is — often a massive disservice. My watched stopped yesterday and instead of checking the date and time on my computer clock…I checked the thread to see if we were having another Cliniqua Defenders Quarterly Meeting. Sure enough…must be July then because the last one was in April…

i was been a lurker here for 3 yrs. but never really joined on any discussion nor willing to join. i just give my little two cents from here and there once in a bluemoon.
i think clini is very intelligent and a skillful writer though at times, she’s over the top ,bitchy and kind of immature. perhaps, she’s young , how young i don’t know. some says she needs an ego-stroking, i would say so are the others HERE. if clini loves some stroking somebody else here craves popularity. i think it’s a FAIR game. …..as you all say it’s like ” pot calling kettle black”. so evereyone here has it’s own cheerleaders , u know. by the way, i am neutral w/ clini and others. everyone is entitled in their own opinions but i won’t take any sides becoz the others are not BETTER either not tht i am saying , they are as bad as here. but i noticed here for a long time some can be as worst as here. though, all in all , they contributed the best for the jolie-pitts existence. so i guess, it’s all GOOD i guess, whether somebody needs ego-stroking or somebody craving for popularity…….and still the winner is the JOLLIE-PITTS!!!

Hello fans and trolls alike. After reading some of your comments from this weekend, I just want to say this, you know JJ has right to post whatever he wants on his site. This his world we are just visiting. Stop with the BS on how he has betrayed Angie and Brad. JJ doesn’t work for them, he post what he likes (did you forget he likes the X too). There are more that enough threads on her for the fans and non-fans alike. This is his world we are just visiting.
Having said that, I don’t believe in censorship unless you are out to do major harm. You can’t spread lies that will cause harm to people (like the yelling FIRE analogy). As for Cliniqua, you can either take it or leave it. She is not always right but I enjoy her writing it is hilarious. At times she is on point and others it is just speculation and ranting. You can just skip over it. I do understand what Cliniqua was saying about posting “speculative” threads could do some harm to Angie credibility. But, Angie has weathered more damaging threads before and she is still on top. So what JJ wants to play the game and make so money. It was not that damaging. It was clear to me to see that it was a fake Angie. Plus, I am sure Angie and Brad has the means and resources to correct or ride out any negative views. Brad is a Zen master in that (so he said). She will be fine. I think at this point in her life she just want to be a mother of 6. No harm done with that thread.
Now for SomeChickenSheet, I would ban that woman out of the site if I could. She is some seriously devious, disturb and downright funny character. You and I both know she is working for someone (rags, Huvane, Jen herself, or a Perez mole, who knows). If not, man call the psych ward but you have an escape mental patient. We give her way too much credit and attention. She knows how to push our buttons from up and down to left to right. She is a nobody trying to be somebody on the blog. I am always amazed at how easily these threads get taken off subject and how every single bit of Brad and Angelina news turns into this endless battle of the insults and praises…
How can any of us just sit here typing away behind a computer screen and insult and defend each other when we’ve never actually met in person? I don’t know you and you don’t know me…how can you judge someone by what they type on a celeb gossip site? Obviously they could be typing comments to purposely begin a debate or to get a good laugh…
I think people take this site way too seriously…for all you know, these people who come in here and insult Brad and Angelina are just typing this stuff to agitate the fans rather than really hating either one (and they do a great job because it creates chaos so easily)…
And how can someone say that the regular posters here are great people? These are people you’ve never met, right? You’re basing this belief on something typed on a screen…for all you know, this great person could be a complete sicko…so crazy how we jump to these conclusions…
And I never get the whole deal about why these Brad and Angelina topics have to remain only full of praise and anyone who dislikes the couple is immediately attacked (and the same for those who attack the fans- it isn’t one sided here, both sides are guilty)…I realize that Jared obviously is a big fan of this couple, but there is no censorship on this site…I can write whatever I want as well as you can…after all, this isn’t the official Brad and Angelina fan club…there’s no membership guideline that states that all people who comment have to praise the couple…goodness- if it was a problem, Jared would try to moderate the posts…since he doesn’t and the site is open to all comments, no one is prohibited from going into any one topic to comment…
If you really can’t take differing opinions and get so ruffled by insults to Brad and Angelina or even praises towards them, I say go start your own blog where you can keep out negative posts…that way you can moderate what is written (like at PittWatch which is a much more responsible site- thank goodness for Sherry moderating the posts there…it is a pleasure to read what she writes)…
Obviously no one will ever stop the negative posts and these endless debates and insults do little to clear the air…it only inspires those people you despise to come right back and keep getting under your skin…some of these posts are so ridiculous that I have to sit back and laugh at them (especially if someone takes them seriously)…after all, who would ever take a post seriously that stated that Angelina would lie with a beast? It’s so crazy that it’s amusing….but it easily got people insane and that debate lasted for pages…
There are some people who appear to be responsible enough on here to keep it clean and they should be congratulated…maybe more supposed fans and supposed haters could take their lead and at least make an attempt to keep it insult free against each other…
I enjoy reading Jared’s site, but man…you can get a headache by some of the crazy posts on here…
Lastly, I wish Brad and Angelina a safe birth of the babies…they are much deserving of time alone with the fam and I hope they can keep the cameras at bay for a short time to really enjoy their new family members…Angelina has looked so radiant since the pregnancy and I wish them all the luck in the world :-)

My guess is she will be here till the end of the year, until after TCCOBB and Changeling.

BamBam is a16 year-old Border Collie/Shepard , a gift from my Gran when I was 10. I remember we were separated @ 16 when I went to college, Pre-Med then Med School. ‘Tis the only time I can say I was heartbroken. I had to travelled 2 hours each way to go home every weekend. ‘am almost 27 - we’ve been together forever.
Glad we have something in common - Bam that is. We’ll spar for another day.

I will take the good vibe cue and stop arguing. We don’t agree, and I am okay with that.
To my discredit, I always feel compelled to defend myself against some of the silly accusations that fly around. Especially when my silence, whether deliberate or from absence, is always chalked up to be an admission of my assumed identity or purpose here. But it is a true waste of time and energy. So enough.
onmyown…that is such a sweet story. I don’t know how old my Bam is. He is one of 3 hounds we have that we rescued as adults. They are each middleaged, I’d say. We get them after their training to hunt has failed or not been to the satisfaction of their breeders.
But we also have a black lab who is 14 and sadly won’t be with us much longer. It’s especially pleasing when an aged dog has a wonderful day reminiscent of their younger ones. It’s hard to so deeply love animals that we know we will outlive, isn’t it?

Obvious to me after reading this article that People has no direct conduit to the JPs anymore. Really don’t think People (or any other tab/mag) will be getting any exclusive on the twins. I do not believe that there will be any money deal for the twins pixs. Just pixs released through AP of whole family or some informal way like how the pregnancy was announced that was by way of pixs of Angie (with childs) and Brad at the Indie Spirit Awards. No announcement, nothing verbal, just here we are pregnant again.

I am glad to see you and I miss Coal, tell her I said hi. This year is still going to get more intense, with the elections in full swing and the conventions are coming up in August. I agree. Peter Cook is a pig and I can understand why Christie would want to nail his ass to the wall, but she needs to think about how all this is going to affect her children. That was my bad for even thinking of that. What would be the point other than we’d have the satisfaction of throwing it in ShitzyBtich’s face?
As for the bookmarks - this is kind of complicated, but here goes…
Bookmarks are simply the URL for a page so that you can quickly get back to a certain page without having to navigate the site. The way a browser works is that the page is downloaded to your machine - or “cached”. A couple of factors come into play with cached pages - which browser you’re using and which options you’ve selected for caching. Depending on how your browser is set up, it will save the cached pages until they change, then it caches the new page. For instance, if you’re using IE (Internet Explorer), then the default for cached pages is “Automatically” - meaning each time the page is loaded if the page has been altered, then IE will automatically delete the old page and cache the new one.
I’m still using IE6 because IE7 blows monkey chunks , so if you’re using IE6 you can check the setup of the cache by clicking on TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS. The first tab in the dialog box is GENERAL. In the middle of the window you’ll see TEMPORARY INTERNET FILES. Below it are 3 buttons - click on SETTINGS. The default is always AUTOMATICALLY. If you don’t want to cache new pages, then select NEVER. “Never” is fine as long as you don’t need to see changes made to a page since you’ve loaded it. Just remember that any change you make to these settings is going to affect EVERY website you go to, not just JJ’s. If you’re doing something like trying to buy on eBay or book a flight, then you don’t want to use the “Never” setting or else you’ll never be able to make your purchase. (Side note: Underneath that TEMPORARY INTERNET SETTINGS on the GENERAL tab you’ll see a button that sayS DELETE FILES. If you have never deleted your temporary internet files…then click that button to delete the files and when the next window opens be sure to select the check box in the lower lefthand corner that says “Delete all offline content”. If you’ve never done this before it’ll take a while to delete all the files. If you surf a lot then there’s probably a few gigabytes worth of files on your machine. When you do this it’s going to get rid of any pages for JJ’s that are stored on your machine.) With IE7 IIRC the Temporary Internet Files settings are still on that first tab of the OPTIONS dialog box, but I can’t give you the specific details for accessing it because I don’t have the software on my machine.
If you’re using Firefox you’re ability to control the cache is very limited. Go to TOOLS/OPTIONS. Along the top of the dialog box you’ll see a bunch of icons. Select ADVANCED and you’ll see a set of 4 tabs. Select NETWORK. The second section says CACHE. The only things you can do are control how much hard disk space to use for the cache and clearing the cache. Look at the set of icons again and select PRIVACY. Under the first section you’ll see HISTORY. The very first option is how long do you want to remember which pages you’ve visited. I think the default is 15, but I’ve got mine set to 45 days. Unlike IE, Firefox doesn’t give you the ability to control whether or not the cached pages are updated every time you load the page. It does that automatically, so there’s no way of going through the cached files to find the old pages.
Does all of this make sense? Because…I haven’t even started yet on where you can actually find the files that are “cached” on your machine! LOL. For that you have to use the Explorer to look at your hard drive. The path will be like this -

Firefox/Netscape
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR USER NAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\XXXXXXXX.default\Cache
If you’re using IE you’ll need to know which file extensions go with which types of files. For instances - images are typically going to be .jpg and .gif, webpages are .htm, .html, .asp. If you’re using Firefox it’s not an issue because the cache isn’t the same. It’s more of a database than individual files.

I was watching the view today and whoopie was also saying she could’nt understand why she would do this. Well not everyone grieves or reacts to their marriage ending the same. For all we know she is probably still grieving the end of a percieved ” perfect” marriage. Believe me some men can bring out these feelings in you by acting in a way that seems they have no consideration for their spouse or kids. Cudos to her for being a no-nonsense person. Obviously she has standards and finding out about his affair which started when she was underaged , was the deal-breaker for her.
The husband of a former colleague of mine was convicted for being a child molester. Something about him had child-toucher written all over it. His story along with others was featured in a local newspaper after these individuals were busted by cops. Not only did she stay with him ( He was sent to jail), she came back to work after taking two weeks off when this story broke. She obviously stayed with him. Some people, like Christy have higher standards. I agree that this is not helpfull to her kids but some people grieve differently.

The probelm I have with what Christie is doing via this open trial is that it will hurt the kids. There is not doubt of that. I recognize that she is grieving, who would not be in these circumstances. But her 2 younger kids are grieving also, this is their Dad, and nothing will change that. Her son Jack was thrown away by his biological father who never wanted him to begin with, he was adopted by Peter Cook the only Dad he has ever had, he is very close to his Dad, he does not need this extra pain in his life. Her youngest daughter Sailor loves her Dad, she does not need this pain in her life. Both kids are old enough to be really hurt by all this.
From all accounts Cook is said to be a good Dad, while he is a terrible spouse. Christie seems to want to push him out of the kids lives and that does not seem to me to be best for the kids. She never has to see him as arrangements can be made for them to exchange the kids at a neutral place. I just think that Christie would have done better to battle him in a closed court for all the assets they share rather than have made the tabloids day. They should have gone to mediation and counseling for the kids custody.
I know hell hath no fury but this will not end well for Christie I fear, I doubt she will get the payback and revenge that she thinks she will. Sometimes you win the battle but lose the war.

Like I said last week…that needs to be amended to “Hell hath no fury like a former supermodel scorned for a woman 34 years her junior.”
Just imagine how much her psyche took a beating on this one. She’s spent the last 20+ years doing everything she can to not look a day over 30. But, if you’re an aging woman there are two things you can’t beat - father time and lure of a much younger woman.
Her current hubby cheated with an 18 year-old…her ex hubby married a woman 33 years his junior. That shite would hurt if you were just a normal woman…but for a former supermodel who had men dropping at her feet offering her the world? Ouch.

The husband of a former colleague of mine was convicted for being a child molester. Something about him had child-toucher written all over it. His story along with others was featured in a local newspaper after these individuals were busted by cops. Not only did she stay with him ( He was sent to jail), she came back to work after taking two weeks off when this story broke. She obviously stayed with him. Some people, like Christy have higher standards. I agree that this is not helpfull to her kids but some people grieve differently.

OMG! This happened to a lady I used to work with, too! Her husband was retired and drove a school bus part-time because he said he couldn’t stand not doing anything. That’s what he told her. Come to find out he was a pedo and he was molesting the boys on the bus. Just the boys, not the girls. These kids were junior high school age - so 12-14, something like that. My co-worker had 4 adult kids - 2 sons, 2 daughters - and when all of this went down she found out that he’d molested their 2 sons as well but not the daughters. He was sent to prison for life and he was about 68 at the time. I felt so bad for her because she was a deeply religious woman and really had no idea at all that he’d been molesting their sons, let alone the kids on the school bus. I remember one time I heard her talking to another co-worker and she said she couldn’t divorce him because of her religious beliefs. And no, she wasn’t Catholic. Her kids were mad as hell that she wouldn’t get the divorce. But…she never went to prison to visit him, didn’t go to the trial, wouldn’t testify on his behalf and she refused to use their retirement money to pay for his lawyer. He had to get a legal aide attorney. When it all went down she had all the property changed over to their children’s names so he couldn’t touch it or sell it to skip town. It was a huge local scandal. And she was just the nicest lady. You could see she was shell-shocked by the whole thing. He died in jail about 5 years later.

I hear what you are saying , I may not have done this but it is still her relationship to handle the way she sees fit. Of course she wants him to suffer and hurt like she feels on the inside. His lawyer is trying to paint her as someone in serial relationships. She is just a woman who doesn’t take nonsense from any man. If a man is treating her the way she feels she needs to be treated, then she ends the relationship. Some women are strict, others are cheated on constantly and they stay in these relationships for one reason or the other, it is their perogative.

Completely different sickness…Christies’ ex may have gone for young babes and your friend’s husband may have gone for the real youngsters, toddlers to tweens…an ickier position that your friend must see as a dangerous and as destructive a threat not just to their own family. What a sad story. I had worked with this lady for 5 years when her husband got busted . The irony of the whole thing ( It turned out to be my aha moment-think Oprah), was I made no secrets to my colleagues when we were eating lunch , how lousy my marriage was but this chick was always talking about their intimate sex life and how great their marriage was. I was happy for her but when this happened ,my aha moment was that people put on airs and sometimes pretend because the paper reported that his case had been in litigation in courts at the time so she knew about the case cos the paper said she accompanied him to court and the whole time she was telling us how wonderful he is and about thier romantic get-a-ways, Felt sorry for her but the stories she told us seemed like they were lies after reading the transcripts of what her husband was emailing this 11 year-old gir talking about all kinds of se*** postions he was going to put her in. He was arrested when he showed up for se*

Personally, I agree that CB’s putting her desire for revenge ahead of the good of her children, but I can see the flip side of it, too.
Here’s the thing - what’s the point of a closed trial if she’s bashing him at home and turning the kids against him privately? Whatever hurtful things other kids are going to say are going to be said anyway because of all the gossip they’re privvy to - be it from their parents or the internet. At least this way if her kids have questions she can’t point to the court record and say, “Here’s the truth in your father’s own words.” She can’t keep the kids isolated and she can’t keep other people from talking in their hearing. Living in a bubble where her children’s feelings will be spared just isn’t an option here.
BTW - you know it’s quiet in J-PLand when you’re reduced to discussing divorce trials of celebs you normally don’t pay any attention to whatsoever….

Speeking of movies,
I am a Mama Mia fan. Saw the show at the theatre each time it played in my city. Loved it. The movie is coming out this month and it has Meryl Streep playing the lead role. Don’t get me wrong, and I love Meryl Streep but I think she is too old for this part. With all due respect she should be playing the grandma to this character. They played promos of it in the theatres and I just kept thinking she looked too old for this part. I just hope this does’nt ruin one of my fave shows.
