Who would you like best as a role model? A woman who waits for the right moment to have a baby and thus delays pregnancy till the right time OR a woman who doesn’t mind adopting or getting pregnant anytime because her partner is too rich to worry and family planning means nothing to her? The first woman is Jennifer and the second is Angelina. I like Jennifer because she is reasonable and didn’t give up even when the man was Brad Pitt, though she lost because of that. Angelina is a ruthless opportunist and that’s why she won – definitely not the smartest or the most beautiful woman on the planet, just an opportunist who doesn’t care for the consequences of her actions even when they may change other people’s lives for ever. And I don’t think Brad was fair with Jen – he didn’t give her time, nor did he want to understand that she wanted to make a few movies first. Why, he had made enough movies, how could he understand his own wife wanting to? Because Friends was actually drawing to a finale, she would be for ever remembered as Rachel Green, which would be very sad. When she showed that she wanted to get out of that mold, he simply couldn’t let his ***** wait any longer.

I agree a woman should have children when she is ready. A much as Brad Pitt talked about wanting a family, I don’t think he would have married Aniston if he knew she would continually put off having them. Given the MANY times she has said she wanted children and intends to have them, I believe that Brad had a reasonable expectation that she would have them sooner rather than NEVER. She is still on that ‘I want children’ bandwagon. How long is enough time. I believe if they were still married, they still wouldn’t have any children. As for her not having an opportunity for fulfilling her dream of being a MOVIE STAR if she had children, that’s a bunch of hogwash. Angelina STILL has a movie career with 4 and soon 6 children. It’s easy to blame Angelina because Aniston fans have lived in a fantasy world concerning her marriage to Brad. There is no such thing as the perfect marriage, being a golden couple or all that other Hollywood hype her fans believed. Aniston is not perfect, I know this not because i know her, but because NO ONE IS PERFECT. People make mistakes, they fall in and out of love and they let there pursuit of a career undermine their relationships sometimes. What exactly have you seen of her life that makes you think she is REASONABLE and didn’t give up after Brad. The fact that she’s been bouncing like a rubber ball from one man to another since her divorce? She’s single and she’s allowed, but if that were Angelina, Aniston fans would be calling her all sorts of nasty names. But not Aniston, she’s still perfect in your eyes. That’s what they call being hypocritical and having a double standard. Own it. What exactly has Aniston done to be a role model? I don’t think you know what that really means. As for family planning, when the hell do you REALLY care about celebrity family planning. If Aniston had chosen to adopt a dozen kids, it would have been alright with you because she’s SPECIAL and the rules applied to others don’t apply to her. Friends didn’t have to end for her to be remembered as Rachel Green, she plays Rachel Green in all the movies she makes. Same character, different names. She won’t be forever remembered as Rachel Green, she will be remember as someone who fans made her an object of desperation and pity. No, Angelina isn’t the smartest person in the world, who knows who that is. But she is smart. They don’t allow dummies to talk to Heads of State, to help plan initiatives to assist children and women in war torn areas. They don’t allow dummies to talk in behalf of a UN organization; dummies talk a good game about nothing and sell bottled water. The next time you try to defend your Idol by throwing someone who IS making a different in the world under the bus, make sense.

Angelina Jolie is actually EVOLVING in par with her age. Aniston is still stuck in her twenties, her physical insecutities and her cigarettes and alcohol.

In ten years from now, Aniston will still be seen tanning, smoking and going from young boy to young boy comparing their s.exual perfs.

I can picture Angie doing less movies and getting more involved in social and political affairs. She already is learning her kids culture and another language. I can even picture her going to college to master some course while raising her teenage children.

Wow, I’m curious if the people on this post spend as much time comparing and judging the people in their actual, personal lives as they do comparing and judging these two complete strangers on line. Strangers, about whom, they only have assumptions based on half truths to go on. People have different goals in life and make different choices all the time. It doesn’t make one person better than another because one starts a family earlier rather than later. What’s wrong with all of you?

Is Jennifer Aniston solely responsible for the effect that plastic water bottles have on the environment? The charity the proceeds from these ads and the sale of Smartwater doesn’t put SMARTWATER in schools, it promotes healthier choices for school-age children, probably primarily in inner-city and poorer areas. I can tell you from watching some of the kids in those areas around where I live that they need all the help and guidance that they can get.

The fact is no one in the years since Angelina broke up with Billy Bo has anything to concretely complain about with regard to her, so what do they do? They dig up her past, like many of us in our teens and early twenties didn’t do foolish and self-destructive things. She has worked hard ever since she first went to Cambodia to transform her life and it has succeeded.
What Aniston fans hate, really hate is that Brad is no longer married to Jennifer. That bond was broken a long time before Angelina came along; those who are still carry that torch, let it go. That is a sad and unreasonable excuse to make Angelina your scapegoat. I don’t agree with bashing Aniston for her looks, she has enough issues with her mother calling her ugly all the time. These are her words,not mine. I don’t believe in hitting below the belt. But if her fans continue to rag Angelina, you have to expect Angelina’s fans to defend her.

Actually, I’ve only really read people saying that it’s hypocritical he pushes green causes while making less-than-green choices in his personal life. Not that he’s responsible. Meanwhile, JA is promoting a product and charity that tries to benefit something completely unrelated to what she’s being criticized for - but she is a horrible person because water bottles are made from plastic.

I’m not sure why either of them are being criticized. PERIOD. Celebrities live a life of indulgence and privilege that none of us will ever know. To say that either is better than the other for ANY reason, is ridiculous and pointless. They both experience and take advantage of extravagance that is over-the-top. Why people spend the time to “defend” or “attack” any of them for any reason is beyond me. We don’t know them and the decisions that they make in their lives neither matter to or affect any of us in ANY way.
