Jude Law & Lily Cole are Radiohead Fans
Jude Law enjoys the Radiohead concert in London’s Victoria Park late last month with his rumored new love interest Lily Cole.
The 35-year-old British actor later was seen taking the 20-year-old model to dinner in Covent Garden. Reports claim she went home with him, and did not leave his Maida Vale apartment until the next afternoon. What, what!
Relationship history: Jude divorced Sadie Frost in 2003 and then ended his engagement to Sienna Miller in 2006. He was last romantically linked to Rod Stewart’s 28-year-old daughter, Kim Stewart.

to start Cambridge University and a very bright girl with high grades andobviousy very pretty. If you are on the same level intllectually age is not of any importance. She obvioucly has not gone through the same things in life that he has but he is a very nurturing and caring person and a gentlemen and I see nothing wrong in their being together. On top of what I found out about the other girl who was at the house juliette Lewis ,whom I suspect he knows through lots of people in the industry and that’s why she looks familiar, she’s been in movies we’ve seen and in the movies for many years. She is now separated from her husband.

Lillly happens to have very nice little features, the bone structure ishowever a little weird full face but how many people in the world can compete with Jude whose acclaimed perfect bone structure (evidentin this picture here) is unmatchable. i have seen other pictures of herwhere they are not playing up that weird baby-faced look and she looks like a very attractive young woman. So let’s leave it alone, please. Sienna certainly wasn’t perfect either and did her most notable modeling for the Pirelli calendarl so let’s not expect that Jude would even look for the most perfect woman unless it were someone who had all the qualities HE wanted and I don’t think a preconceived notion of beauty is one of them. I am happy because he seems happier and that’s good. Truth to tell, of the many marriages I have heard of (publicly and privately, never once was there a breakup over the l5-yr. difference (the most common age difference) What we should remember is that age is a number and the mind ages in differenet ways than the rest of thebody. Anyway, time will tell. Jude is not rushinginto anything and even a relationship at this point would not tell us about the future yet.

I doubt either Jude or Lily is very serious if they are having an affair and that’s perhaps my main issue. No matter how single Jude is I would think - if we take what he himself says seriously - that he’s a father first and foremost. If he’s just having fun I guess it doesn’t really matter much who he’s “hanging out” with - unless it gets in tha tabloids, I don’t see that as a good thing for Raff, Iris and Rudy - but for a more serious relationship I would imagine that a 20-year old - no matter how smart she is - simply is at an other place in life than a 35 year old man with three kids. Sorry, that’s just how I see it. If I got divorced and my husband hooked up with a women 15 years his junior I would be totally unprepared and kind of worried to be honest. We’ve seen Sadie hook up with one “youngster” after an other and she has gotten so much flack for that - doesn’t it go both ways?

pole, of course everyone is entitled to their opinions. for those of us who are ardent jude law fans we admire hin, enjoy him and mostly think positive about him. i respect the opinions of those who disagree. i still hold to this fact. people, including celebrities are entitled to do with their personal lives what they choose. all of us are entitled to the same thing. i just feel that based on pictures and tabloid gossip it tells us very little about the real picture. if i was in jude’s every day life of course i would know a heck of alot more.

What makes me sad about all these conversation is, that some of us did not see what Lily has for a person, but only her appearance. Madame Curie was also not stunning and beautiful (she looked like a bitter housewife), but she was, and is, very important for the development for the world.
I don’t want to compare Cole with Madame Curie, but don’t we think it is about the time to see persons from their quality?

But I still think we (who love Jude) have a tendency to close our eyes to his mistakes a bit. If Sadie walks around looking drunk she’s called nasty things but Jude gets excused. If she’s dating someone 20 years younger than her it’s problemtaic, with Jude it’s simply a mature girl. Yes, of course Lily and Jude may end up sharing a great love for the reast of their lives - but it might also be a quick connection between a 35 year old father of 35 and a 20 year old - and I am probably prejudiced but the later is just mostly “ick” to me.

Btw, for those who don’t know about Radiohead, and say that celebs are so predictable, Radiohead was formed in 1986, and started to get famous with Creep in 1992 (my favorite song from them).

Yeah, I already said in an earlier post that Jude dating a 20 year old is the same as Sadie dating a 20 year old. So the same goes for Finlay. I wonder what he thinks of his mother and his stepfather. I can’t even imagine. I didn’t realize I had to spell it all out. I thought that was obvious.
I might have misunderstood you, for you were only stating about Jude.
Children of a broken marriage have always hard faith. Finley has to experience that twice. May be his relationship with Jude was good, may be not, I don’t know. Since I saw only his picture with Gary Kemp when he was very small. And I don’t see them (Jude & Finley) together.
The thing is, we do not even know, if Jude really dates Lily, or just friends.
Let’s just they were really lovers, and decided to be together. As far as I know Jude (reading many of his statements and it is not much to say “I know him”), he would consider if Lily could handle </i. his children or not. Since they are, like he always said, his first priorities.
I say, he would consider more the feelings and the thoughts of his younger children, than Finley’s. For Finley is old enough to think and consider to himself and may be understand “the world” a little bit better than his brothers/sister.

It’s kind of amusing that we have fallen into the trap of the tabs…Jude and Lily have been seen together all of twice, have made no declarations of intentions to get together beyond that, and the tabs have managed to cause us to dicuss them as though they could possibly be on the verge of spending their lives together.

I hope so too, Pole. But I doubt that this Lily thing is any more than just a fling. I still think it has an affect on the children. Children do know what is going on in their parent’s lives.
Lily will be going off to Cambridge and continuing with her busy modeling career. She will not have time for Jude and his children. And I guess Jude might make another movie one day. I don’t know. Has he retired?
@Sheryl: I have actually thought the same thing. You know, it might not just be the tabs. As good old wise Jane Austen said It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. Isn’t it like that? He’s single, young, rich and really good-looking too - and we ourselves often talk about him needing to find someone who loves him. I don’t find it that odd that the rags are speculating. It’s the casanova-angle that bothers me. Compared to many he ain’t that bad.. ;-)

this is what the tabs and gossip blogs pray for. a couple of photos of two people seen together and they hope the reaction is just what we are giving them. an ongoing discussion about something that might have no basis at all except two people seeing each other. it’s not going to be a lifetime commitment. it could be a fleeting friendship but the tabs like to get everybody hot and bothered. that’s what they’re in business for….
I don’t think we need to worry about Jude not getting any eh.. action :-D And yes, the rags are doing what the can to present things so that there’s a story. But really - I think we tend to do the same thing. We certainly speculate A LOT about every single women he’s seen with. Cameron, Natalie (who many wishes he would hook up with), Susanna, Kim, the brunette, the red head, now Lily.. We are just as bad as the rags. For all we know Jude might really just be single with a lot of female friends. The speculation is sort of fun, I think but it is of course just speculation.
Yeah, speculation can be fun…but thinking it’s actually going to happen and wishing it would happen with a particular someone (i.e., for me it’s Natalie…or Susan) are different things. If there were pics of him on a date with Natalie, I would get very excited about that but would probably not dare hope yet because a couple of sitings doesn’t constitute dating. I might just set myself up for disappointment :)
As was pointed out earlier, Lily is much younger and in a different place in her life than Jude, ready to start university, so I don’t even begin to wonder about long-term with her…not at this point and with what “information” we’ve been given, anyway. And I just don’t get quivery about them. Doesn’t mean I don’t think they can’t have a date, though.
I’m guessing we’re going to be discussing a lot of different women with Jude from time to time..

A couple days ago a misterious blonde woman left his house in London with wet hair.It’s strange…If he’s dating Lily, what was he doing with that blond woman? Maybe they are just friends.

Some people have stated on here that there is a double standard when it comes to Jude being criticized for dating a 20 yr old and when Sadie does it. Well, I have always said that Sadie is a bit sickening for dating her many boy toys, YES. She has dated multiple men in the age range of 20-25 and she could be there mother at the age of 41 or 42 (whatever age she is now). Her boyfriends have also been seen living in her home and some of them have been spotted in a drug stupor at the likes of Amy Winehouse’s garage! If Jude was dating girls young or old with behavior like that of Sadie’s boy toys, then I would scowl at his choice! In fact I did scowl when he was caught hooking up wtih Kim Stewart- she is in the same league as some of Sadie’s men as far as I can tell.
However, Lily Cole (although I personally don’t find anything attractive about the girl) happens to be a smart young woman with a seemingly good head on her shoulders and a successful career as a model. This is different from the cling-ons and wannbe rock stars that Sadie brings into her home to live with her children! So, I do see a difference.
I don’t know the status of Jude and Lily’s relationship. I couldn’t see myself dating a 35 yr old man with children when I was 20, but I am not her and I was not mature enough at that time. I am not going to pass hard judgement on this relationship until we know more about it and about their intentions. I think he can date whomever he chooses as long as he tries to make rational choices out of respect for his children and himself. I think Lily is a fairly rational choice…but, Kim Stewart was NOT a rational choice. But, he is human and is going to make mistakes along the way….let’s hope he learns from them. I wish him only happiness and success.
bottom line, Sadie is NOT perfect and neither is Jude. I just happen to enjoy Jude a lot more than Sadie and care more about what he does than what she does.

‘am posting an entire text here to let you know what my itenerary would be. If by any chance you live in Wales, I would have no problem. Five years ago, I was there. My IDL had been renewed, and I will be driving most of Europe, except flights from Sweden to Italy and Portugal. I may return back to London depending on my budget plan. The dollar had been greatly depreciated and will be travelling with BamBam.

Hello - I’ve meaning to catch up with you. Read your post and was touched. Thank you, and I appreciate your kind words.
My vacay had been planned 5 months ago, as I usually do every other summer. There are more travel restrictions now a days. My IDL had been renewed, visa, passport etc are done. I am taking BamBam with me. UK and most of Europe have relaxed it’s quarantine, with some minor restrictions in Italy. Bam’s certification, DEFRA papers are already done, including her microchip. She’ll have her vaccination tomorrow.
I’ll be in London on the 28th, will attend an informal gathering @ Kings College - Military and Civilian Wounds seminar. Bam and I will drive through the Channel to France, then to Switzerland to visit my GodMom. From there - it’ll will be one of those - where ever the road will take us.
I’ll be back on Sept 4th. Thanks again.

Any time you are confused because of language just say so I like “I don’t understand what you are saying please explain further”e. i know I
for one would be glad to do so. The internet is a wide open meeting
place of vastly different types of people with different views and some
very diferent needs. The ones to steer clear of are those who try to pull
you into a situation you are not even intrested in. Mostly I tend to daw back when those things happen because I am only interested in the opinions of sincere people. Sometimes they are really looking for the answers to something that has puzzlied them. Sometimes things come out in an insulting and derogatory way - oops I’m leaving that discussion, not interested. I don’t go on line to fight battles I mostly

Anyway, my travel itenerary has changed a bit. I was supposed to see Shannen and stay with her for 1 day in Dover, UK but she’s flying to London for family emergency. So I will take the Northline Ferry today at 8:15, docking at about 1:00 PM Friday. I’m driving a Land Rover, through Lille, which is the border of France/Germany. It’s about 8 hours to Berlin. I was unable to get DEFRA approval for my dog to enter Germany because they require DEFRA papers withing 10 days of entry. DEFRA papers from country of origin - that would be impossible.
Anyway, I could stay at Grand Hotel Bellview in Lille if you to take that 8 hour drive to Lille - on me of coarse !
