Luke Macfarlane Does Rome Fiction Festival

Canadian actor Luke Macfarlane promotes his hit drama, Brothers & Sisters, with his costars Balthazar Getty and Dave Annable during the first day of the 2008 Rome Fiction Fest on Monday in Rome, Italy.

Luke, 28, Balthazar, 33, and Dave, 28, were all interviewed during the photo call. When asked what they have in common with the characters they play, Dave affirmed the importance of telling stories like his character does. Luke replied that that he feels similar to his own character for his humor. And Balthazar relates to his own character’s honesty.

Macfarlane, who came out of the closet in April, was also around to promote his new TV mini-series, Iron Road.

5th!!!! Well, Ole LUke is out of the closet. What a shame. He is hot and hotter. But, if he is happy, then I’m happy for him. BUT, he is sooooo, cute and everything. Oh, well, we can dream from afar.

I saw photos of him on that site pro thinspo that had him on the beach this 4th of July weekend…. yeah has a good body. I will look like that by the end of this summer, I am on the cabbage soup detox diet and 50 crunches and 50 push ups a day… soon jared and jodee will be posting my photos on the male thinspiration page.

anyone else find it funny that balthazar says that he relates most to honesty when right now he is in the tabloids for possibly cheating on his wife with sienna miller? i’m not saying the gossip is true, just that people could read into it if they wanted to…

could i ask why the title of this is about Luke McFarlane? he is the least prominent and least important of the three men who went to that event from Brothers and Sisters so why is he the one made to seem like the big mega star? because he’s the gay one? hmmmm

I believe Luke was home in Canada on the 4th… Don’t think he was near a beach … and Luke is the one on the left in the group shots.
We gay guys are supose to be good dressers.. Luke seems an exception…

qboy… To be ‘in the closet’ is the phrase used to mean someone is hiding their homosexuality.. And yes, it’s aweful to have to feel the need to do that.. In Luke’s case I don’t believe he was ever hiding his gayness to those around him… so he may never have really been ‘in the closet’ in the first place.

I don’t think Luke was ever in the closet. Everyone around him knew, it’s just that he chose not to speak of his sexuality ever. It’s no one’s business really.

I think Luke is lovely, as is Dave.
