Nicole Kidman Welcomes Daughter Sunday Rose
Nicole Kidman and her country superstar husband, Keith Urban, welcomed a daughter on Monday morning in Nashville, Tenn.
“Husband Keith was by Nicole’s side, and mother and baby are very well,” spokesman Paul Freundlich told People.
This is the first child together for Nicole, 41, and Keith, 40. Nic has two other children with her ex-husband Tom Cruise: Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13.
CONGRATS TO THE HAPPY COUPLE!!!
UPDATE: Nicole and Keith named their daughter, Sunday Rose Kidman-Urban! She weighed in at 6 lbs, 7 oz.

you’re right sunday is a day and rose is a flower. rose is a very traditional name for a girl. case in point: rose fitzgerald kennedy mother of president john kennedy, robert francis kennedy, senator ted kennedy; just three of her children. she was, and is, not the only woman in america to have the name rose. the fact that you dont like the name not withstanding.
as for the name sunday; personally i think it’s very pretty. it is, afterall, their choice. this child is not the only one in america with two last names. where is it written that says a child should not also have his/her mother’s last name. as well as the father’s. it is prevelant in spain, central and south america. in fact in spain; the child takes on the mother’s last name. and oh yes; the child also has two surnames.
you don’t approve; well guess what you don’t get a voice. deal with it.

How wonderful that these two can stay so “earth bound” like normal people as far as their relationship and having a baby. There hasn’t been the fanfare that we’ve read about about other stars. These two are STARS. They seem they have nothing to prove except their love and devotional to one another. I know they’ll be wonderful parents and raise her with love and down go earth. God Bless you. (I’m so happy that I haven’t heard “how much for the first baby picture. Of course it may still happen……but so far their lives have been so low keyed…..they don’t have anything to prove)
I love the name and it fits. She supposedly named the baby Sunday to get back at the Scientologists??? They supposedly go to church on Saturday not on Sunday. (do not know if it is a rumor or what) but the name is BEAUTIFUL. (*_*)
Congratulations! I think the name is terrible. It just shows you poeple with money don’t always have intellegence. What a tough handle.
Why name a child the day of a week? Next it will be a number. Perhaps their next child will be named seven. And how about the nick name growing up? Surely the little girl will be called “Sonny” spelled Sunny or Son spelled Sun. I can here it now “Son will you please bring me a beer? I love the name Rose and perhaps they’ll figure out their mistake and use the poor girls middle name as she grows up.

The name is adorable and I love the meaning behind it. Nicole’s father released a statement about it. Anyone ever heard of the Australia artist muse, Sunday Reed? That’s where her name came from. Nicole’s parents suggested it, and I find it adorable that Nicole and Keith picked that name.
Rose was Keith’s grandmothers name. :]
Nicole is and has always been an amazing mother. Hopefully now she can smooth things over with Isabella and Connor. Best of luck.

She did not have that baby.. I’m from her area in Australia and it’s a well known fact that she is a hermaphrodite. These weren’t rumors made up becuase she adopted her first 2 children, this is fact from before she was famous and even met tom cruise when no-one knew who she was. This is not a rurmor made up by tabloids its knwown by everyone who lived where she did growing up as a child. She had an operation when she was younger to get rid of the male parts but can still never have children of her own. Nicole would have used a surrogate to give birth to her child.
