Jamie Lynn Spears opens up to OK! with an exclusive interview and photoshoot, talking about life as a mom!
For Jamie, family comes first, saying, “Around here, everyone has the same focus. The focus is family, and that’s a good way to live.”
The 17-year-old actress also talks about life with boyfriend Casey Aldridge, parenting classes and labor pains! “They’d told me it would be an eight- to 12-hour labor, and I was ready to have the baby in three to four hours,” said Jamie. “I had a perfect pregnancy and a perfect delivery. I was very blessed.”
The former Zoey 101 star continued, “We get up in the morning, and she gets her little bath. Then I get my bath. We have a routine, and I love routines. I’ve worked one out with her, and we’re happy going about our little life!”

Being a mom is NOT the best thing in the world if you are a young teen and struggling to buy formula and diapers and everything else that babies need. OK magazine needs a reality check.

This is no life for a 17 year old. Jamie Lynn will have it very hard. I don’t care how much money she has. Her relationship with Casey probably will end. Cute baby to bad they had to sell her picture for money. I get a feeling Jamie Lynn didn’t won’t this it’s embarrassing.
This does encourage teen pregnancy. Teens will hold her up and think this is the best thing. Check the news it’s already happening.

Well you got to give her credit for keeping the child. Not that I think teen pregnancy is acceptable but she has the means and she will live up to her mistake. The baby does however looks like Casey so I am guessing all the dna testing was prob just a media thing.

Unfortunately this sentence applies to anyone Lilliane…..there are adults out here that should not have kids for this very reason. You have to be educated regardless of your age….. If a teen feels they can succeed at having a child at 17 and they have NO INCOME……that is a stupid teen.

In this world, it really IS all about money. Like it or not, the truth of the matter is that the Spears family is very, very rich. Which means it doesn’t matter if Jamie Lynn has a baby at age 17 or at age 47, the ample resources are there to provide for the child.
There are 30 year old women out there who would make GREAT Moms but can’t have kids due to one simple fact: they barely even make $30,000USD per year. Not enough to support a family.
As far as Jamie Lynn being a poor example for kids/teens: Oh, please. The only REAL role models in childrens’ lives are their own family members. If Jamie Lynn or any other celebrity is a role model to a child, then that child has a REALLY $h!tty family, and horrible parents for allowing the kid to “look up to” silly pop-culture….Get a grip, America. Raise your own kids. Don’t let Hollywood set your standards for you, jeez!

She is beyond ridiculous. This cover will be the butt of jokes for years to come. She gets points for hacing the baby but that’s it. The Spears family may be rich but they have no class. There’s a seediness about them that is so apparent. It’s like the seediness factor you get with Jessica Simpson and that family and Lohan and that family. They are some greedy people too. These country folks need to sit their behinds down and leave Hollywood.
