Vanessa Hudgens: Zac Efron is Doing Okay!

You may want to believe this picture is Zac and Vanessa but it isn’t and the MAJORITY of posters here KNOW that. That’s the reason why when a link got posted the other day with this picture NOBODY gave it any attention—we here on JJ knew the truth because many of us saw the movie when it was released. That’s just another bad thing about having us old people on this board. I believe if you go to a website like IMDb and look this movie up and look at the photos from it, this is one of the stills that they show in most cases. Plus, it was either TMC or AMC which ran this movie just a couple weeks ago and there was that scene as plain as day! So, I hate to burst you bubble but you are not going to get anywhere here with this. Too many of us were your “obvious” age in 1968 and saw it firsthand. Also, although Leonard Whiting was never shown from the front—only from the back with his naked bottom—he did do an interview in the 1990’s where he talked about having to be naked in that scene. He says he and Hussey refused many times about taking their clothes off for that scene but finally gave in when the director kept pushing for it. He also says he and Hussey did have a crush on each other for a while and to this day they still talk with each other. Unfortunately Whiting’s career did not develop with the umph that he had in Romeo and Juliet but he writes and teaches now and gives seminars.

So, you might as well get over it.

I’m ssssooooo over it!!!! Zac and vanessa arent exactly disney stars(ex. Selena Gomez,Demi Lovato,ETC.) I mean they said after HSM 3 they wanna move into more grown-up progects!!!! So PLEASE stop calling them disney stars!!!!!

horslvr45 -Please listen to the adults on here, as we know better than to believe any fake information or pictures that are put out on the web. That last picture was photoshopped….duh! He had swimming trunks on in the real picture. And yes, since they just made a movie HSM3 for Disney and they made 2 others for said company, I would definitely call them Disney stars for now. They were big before Miley or Demi or Selena ever came along. Since this will be their last Disney movie, they will move on to bigger and better things….good for them!!

OR should I call you Roxygirl23? I believe you are the same person just because of how you are acting—like you are stomping your feet and demanding attention. I don’t know what you mother would do with you if she knew what you are looking at and what you are doing but I know what MY mother would have done with me when I was 13 years old. I know girls your age are curious but just because you found such a stupid picture of Zac don’t let everyone in on how inexperienced and immature you are. Surely if you are a fan of Zac and Vanessa you have seen their Hawaiian vacation pictures and have see the ACTUAL picture where he has is wearing his trunks.

Then again, you may know all of this and are just doing something—-anything—to get someone’s attention. After all you did demand that very thing in your writing the other night—you even wrote “someone give me some attention”. I done giving you attention over these stupid things you have posted. But someone that may not have know these pictures were fake will now know and more importantly they will know to ignore YOUR posts.

Also, in not one of my previous posts did I say Zac and Vanessa were Disney stars—I didn’t even use the word Disney. Furthermore, most of us didn’t call them Disney stars. Boji said something in her #312 post about Disney stars but because you are so young you obviously didn’t get the fact she wrote it with sarcasm—meaning she didn’t mean what she was saying.

Now if you want to talk like someone who is interested in these two and act right you might get a response once in a while.

a lot of people, especially young kids, can’t tell when a pic has been photoshopped. even a very poor job of photoshopping. they believe everything they see and read on the internet.

as for Zac and Vanessa being or not being Disney Stars - for right now they are definitely Disney Stars - they are not on weekly or daily TV Shows on the Disney Network but their movies play there regularly but they are Disney Stars.

The evidence I saw was in my shopping today. My first trip out today was to the Local Mall - in more than one section I saw the HSM Gang -especially Zac and Vanessa on multiple aisles, on multiple items. From watches/jewelry, to clothes, to dishes, to CDs, to toys etc. My 11 year old son was even teasing me when we were in the bedding section looking for new bedding for my daughter. He laid down on the display with HSM and said he would just sleep by Gabriella and said “move over Troy”. I teased him about getting that for his room but he was kidding.

Then as we walked by Sears entrance there were two GIANT posters of Vanessa on either side of the Mall Entrance - he told his Dad - that’s that girl who was on the bed spread I was teasing Mom about upstairs. (I know she is not part of Disney with this promotion but everyone connects the two.)

Then to the Disney Store and we went in for the “sales” and of course they were there - not at the front where they have been though because obviously Hannah Montana and Camp Rock have the top spot s with Disney but you know in a matter of weeks HSM will be in the window and front again.

Then tonight I went to Target, Walmart, Linen and Things and Lowes — they were everywhere - even in the paint and wallpaper section at Lowe’s !! Walmart had NEW displays of clothes, sunglasses, purses, on their aisles…..they have started putting out the back to school supplies/pencils/pens/backpacks/notebooks - they are on everything……on the birthday party supplies……in the card section…my husband who is not very knowledgable about HSM made the comment to me — they are everywhere — just like Disney World when we were there in April. (we commented then it was hard to find the “Cinderella and Snow White” in the stores - Hannah and HSM were everywhere and even had their own stores with only their merchandise there.)

So while I do think Zac and Vanessa will move on to older roles AFTER HSM3, I think we have to say they are Disney Stars and with all the merchandising that Disney is doing right now with their images (and making a mint) they will be Disney Stars for a long time.

(as I saw all this “new” stuff out today with their faces - I kept thinking - man I hope they make at least a dime off of every item being sold!!)

Pit, thanks for sharing. My daughter and her friend do tease me about my thing with Vanessa and I told her I’m buying her an album to take with her when she returns to college. unfortunately, her album has yet to hit the stores here in my country. I’m always on the lookout for anything Vanessa or hsm, not to buy but just to look at. And you are right, cause everytime I see a Disney counter, I see Zac and Vanessa.

there is some Camp Rock in the nonDisney stores but not like HSM and Hanna Montana around here at all ……they are hugely popular in our area.

I wish I had stock in their merchandise !!

as for roxygirl or hrslvr I actually feel sorry for the girl as she is clearly in need of some love and attention and wants someone to talk to. She should not have been posting such things however she did not actually bash them and she is quite young. roxygirl or hrslvr if you are reading this you may talk to me just plz try to be appropriate and we can chat about anything :)
