Vanessa Hudgens dishes on music, movies and boyfriend Zac Efron to ABC’s Good Morning America Radio. Here are some of the highlights from her interview:
On her fans backing her up after the nude photo scandal hit: “My fans were amazing because they have stood by my side. They really are my core group. My family’s always there for me. I just surround myself with good people and try to think of good things.”
On how she felt when the photos first hit the Internet: “I think people thought I took it lighter than I really did. For me, it was really tough because I’m a private person and for something like that at to happen, it’s so mean. It’s just a horrible thing. It sucks. But thankfully it’s over and it’s in the past.”
On who leaked her nude photos: “Stupid people.”
On how her relationship is with Zac Efron: “It’s good, thank you.”

For someone who’s only 19 and had to face that kind of embarrassment, public scrutiny and harsh judgement from the public, Vanessa has done a good job in handling herself.
Haters will only find reason to hate even if the girl has done a great job at bouncing back and holding herself with dignity after the scandal. I admire V because despite her mistakes, she is mature enough to admit it and face the heat head on instead of shrinking away and being a coward about it.
To me that is someone who has character and strength and far more admirable than self proclaimed righteous people who think they can do no wrong and speak derrogatory remarks to someone whom they don’t even know personally.
Keep your chin up Vanessa, you’re a fine young lady!

I think she is a strong young Woman. she has to deal with crap from people based on past teenage mistakes. she does not need to answer that question as at the end of the day it is history and she is not going around using it for publicity. She has moved on from this matter so it’s time for the haters to stop using the same lame **** against her. Okay, she shouldn’t have taken those pictures, but that was a 1 time mistake. You could say it is a big one. But look how she handled herself. The haters don’t know her. How can the haters call her a *****, if they don’t know her. You don’t even know the meaning. How can you all know that she sleeps around. You don’t!! She didn’t deny those photos. And she handled herself very well. That is a true rolemodel. It doens’t matter that she made a mistake everybody makes mistakes. Some bigger than others. But the important thing is that you learn from it. She obvious has.
I think haters don’t hate her for those photos. I think that’s just a cover for something else. They can’t handle the fact that she’s beautiful, amazing, talentfull and many more. I don’t think it’s about Zac. cuz most of you hate zac too.

Everyone has an opinion, but it is a sad thing when the haters feel the need to post such harsh comments. Not sure if it makes you sleep better at night, but it does make V more popular with JJ, cuz the hits on his site increase…so thank you for that. JJ keep posting info on Vanessa and Zac, cuz they are your bread and butter my friend. :)

#94 How is she is she “posing as a victim.” She’s taking full responsibility for the picture, she won’t even publicly say who it was sor or anything abou it. So she’s taken the full brunt of the backlash.
I agree that it was not smart of her to put herself in that positon and she’s admitted that. I always thought taking responsiblity for one’s action’s was a good thing. It’s just odd to me to people like Brittany Spears and Lindsay Lohan repeatedly engage in self-destructive and out-of-control behavior and people forgive them and I’m not saying they shouldn’t.
But Vanessa Hudgens did ONE stupid thing in private and people seem to think she should tarred and feathered. I just don’t understand it.

From the vile, hate filled comments I’ve see on here, the haters do not have the intelligence to write more than ONE or two sentences. And weak ones at that. The SAME thing over and over and over. They can’t think of anything new or original. Maybe it’s because they are so consumed with hate, they can’t think clearly.
Also, I’ve noticed that Zac and Vanessa fans are, as a whole, a group of very intelligent people who have careers as accountants, writers, psychologist, teachers, pharmaceutical reps, computer techs, lawyers, nurses and doctors. Even the younger people who are fans come across as intelligent and coherent.
We fans are consumed with love and goodness in the world. Not hate. That’s why we became Zac and Vanessa fans in the first place. Because they represent a sweetness and kindness that is rare in the world today.
I realize it may tax the haters’ narrow minds to have to read through more than one sentence, but when you are adept at reading, that is not a chore.
