Vanessa Hudgens dishes on music, movies and boyfriend Zac Efron to ABC’s Good Morning America Radio. Here are some of the highlights from her interview:
On her fans backing her up after the nude photo scandal hit: “My fans were amazing because they have stood by my side. They really are my core group. My family’s always there for me. I just surround myself with good people and try to think of good things.”
On how she felt when the photos first hit the Internet: “I think people thought I took it lighter than I really did. For me, it was really tough because I’m a private person and for something like that at to happen, it’s so mean. It’s just a horrible thing. It sucks. But thankfully it’s over and it’s in the past.”
On who leaked her nude photos: “Stupid people.”
On how her relationship is with Zac Efron: “It’s good, thank you.”

I do agree, Malia, that the haters can only think of one or two things to say and those things don’t take too many words. And those one of two things they repeatedly say have been addressed by the intelligent posters and exposed their stupidity in what they are saying. AND once again, yes it is true, IF only these posters who can only write a few words could READ more than a few words, they would see just how ridiculous they now sound.
As far as the picture—sorry, I will continue to say this—what made it a mistake? Because it was exposed on the internet? Well, that is the situation that was wrong. Anybody has a right to take personal pictures of themselves or other consenting adults in PRIVATE and unless it is putting someone in harm’s way or is a criminal act. or some other deviant behavior then it is THEIR business just like how a couple conduct their intimate affairs—it is their preferences, likes, and dislikes. It is not for me to say it is wrong or that those things make a person a w**** or s###. I was always taught a w**** was a prostitute and a s### had no sense of morality. I don’t see anything that Vanessa has done that would indicate that. And I’m sure those of you who write such things have done far worse and are a far cry from being vestal virgins themselves. Plus, any guy that writes that kind of stuff is just ignorant and not very well informed.
Once again, the majority of negative comments are coming at the same time—well, I guess there is safety in numbers.

However I have to say that in my opinion the picture was a mistake because I just don’t think itr’s a good idea for girls as young Vanessa apparently was at the time to be taking pictures like that. But as I’ve before she’s acknowledged that and apologized and since she can’t build a time machine , go back to the moment before the picture was taken and not take it *I’m sure she would if she could* she’s done all she can do about it now. What I don’t understand is why people can’t just accept that.
#125 On the contrary if Vanessa was on a “real” label they would have given her some promotion and not undershipped the CD. Stores were running out of copies because they just didnt’ have enough in stock. Who knows how the CD would have done if that hadn’t happened.

I totally agree with you , Karen. The act of taking the pictures is not what was wrong if they were meant to be private. What was the “mistake”, was,sending them over the internet to the person they were intended for ,and that person, revealing them to the world.

Actually, that’s an understatement. The album is a disaster!

Identified sold 22,000 copies in its first week.
Even when she was relatively unknown, her last CD debuted with 34,000.

I’m not saying that IF she was 16 that the picture was a wise thing and I’m not advocating that young teens being doing these things. However, what is done in private is the decision of those involved and it is unthinkable that people were so underhanded in trying to ruin someone because of it.

There is the thought that is was stolen and that person then used it to put on the internet.
