Vanessa Hudgens dishes on music, movies and boyfriend Zac Efron to ABC’s Good Morning America Radio. Here are some of the highlights from her interview:
On her fans backing her up after the nude photo scandal hit: “My fans were amazing because they have stood by my side. They really are my core group. My family’s always there for me. I just surround myself with good people and try to think of good things.”
On how she felt when the photos first hit the Internet: “I think people thought I took it lighter than I really did. For me, it was really tough because I’m a private person and for something like that at to happen, it’s so mean. It’s just a horrible thing. It sucks. But thankfully it’s over and it’s in the past.”
On who leaked her nude photos: “Stupid people.”
On how her relationship is with Zac Efron: “It’s good, thank you.”

I want to think it’s because school is out that the immature, uneducated haters are on this thread, posting comments about a person they don’t like.
However, I don’t think these kids go to school.
Their hate-filled sentences show that they don’t know subject/verb agreement or pronoun and antecedents. Maybe instead of paying attention in English class, they are sitting there thinking up hateful things they can say about people they don’t know.
We mustn’t Forget Marc Ecko and Sears had a hand in promoting Vanessa. Her video was fully sponsored by Red Ecko and when she appeared on TRL she distributed $100 Sears vouchers to the whole audience and the lucky viewer. So I suspect either of them could have arranged her appearances on all the shows and interviews.

i remember when i first started posting on this site last year everyone was in love with vanessa and her fake boyfriend zac gayfron and there were almost no other haters who recognized vanessa for the hoochie mama that she is
but i just returned today and am pleased to find that almost ALL of the posts on vanessa are highly negative and focused on her filthy indiscretions. i am sure her record bombed because of those pictues and people hate her as much as i do for those same pictures
she should just pack it up and go back to the trailer park where she came from

I suspect they envy the Qualities that Vanessa has and cannot believe or comprehend that she is genuine and want to see her go down the path of so many other celebrities, whose names I won’t mention.
The haters can’t abide the fact that Vanessa can command such a following and will try to mow her down every chance they get.

You must be dumber to think that labels recoup their investments only on first week sales. It appears you like selective quoting and info.
Firstly, their invested nothing in promotion and undershipped the album as most stores where sold out before the week ended so the sales numbers are not unexpected.
Secondly, while high first week sales are desirable, they don’t always ultimately determine how an album sells.
Vanessa’s first album didn’t debut highly at all but went gold in six months and HR more than recouped it’s investment. A fellow disney star’s album debuted very highly but it took it a year and half to be certified gold. Ultimately, the label is interested in total sales not just first week sales, though that matters more to the artist.
Feel free to laugh anyhow. That’s the way it is with Vanessa, she always bounces back and confounds all her haters.
For those sad souls jumping with glee at the low first-week sales . . . Vanessa’s first album sold over 600,000 copies in the US. I’m sure this one will do as well. Especially after her August tour.
