Rihanna - “InStyle” August 2008
Rihanna graces the August 2008 pages of InStyle magazine in a gorgeous white Bill Blass dress.
In this issue, the 20-year-old Barbadian bombshell reveals her style secrets and tattoo diary.
And as for the mag’s new look, group publisher Lynette Harrison Brubaker said, “When InStyle launched, what people knew about celebrity was more limited. Now everyone knows everything about celebrity, so we have to keep more relevant. And it’s not enough to say celebrities are the only stylemakers because there’s 20 people around them in an entourage helping them make choices.”

ok this is offically the wierdest most manly shot of her i hav eva seen she doesnt look like this
oh people, isn’t it obvious that the magazines purposely made the photo a bit unpolished? or haven’t you gotten that we’re viewing her cover here on a BLOG as opposed to the actual mag…a BLOG that, like most, is famous for hourly updates of celebrity CANDIDS. So, put that together and in proper context (remembering this is the age of “reality tv” greats like paris, nicole, and kim) and see if you can’t get that ultimately magazines are going much more REALISTIC with their cover images. The last glammed up cover I saw, Gwyneth Paltrow’s was one of the worst sellers in that particular magazine’s history…so it’s a bit convoluted, but do you get it? We are a generation who’d rather see Brit’s crotch shots of Winehouse’s crack binges…
The cover doesn’t look realistic. Rihanna looks like the The Joker from Batman.

Ri Ri looks very beautiful on the cover. I am really enjoying her cd Good Girl Gone Bad. It is seldom that I love a cd but Ri Ri has gotten better with age and I look forward to seeing her for years to come.
