I like seeing this guy. He has a lot going on. He has a lovely voice, hes a good and interesting actor and he seems to have a loveable personality. Some of his films are great aswell.
I think motorbikes and travelling suits him.

Long Way Day is so entertaining, more so than Long Way Round. I’m laughing at people criticising him as a father for leaving his kids because he is incredibly protective of his kids and didnt want them on camera at all.

I like him a lot and I love both LWR and LWD. Although I too think he seems to be away from home too much his wife doesn’t seem to mind so who are we to jugde. I really like the he does it for UNICEF too - not just for his own good.

That’s how I meant to say it.

Ewan is hot! He’s doing 2 movies right now, so I’m sure that’s where the blonde hair comes in. For the comments about his being away from wife and children…I’m sure he’s home more than most fathers who work weekly, until late in the evening, travel, and never see their kids. From what I’ve read about him he’s completely devoted to his family, so these trips he makes every few years, people shouldn’t be so judgmental.

Bad parent? Actors are typically away from their home and family for several months at a time making films, so taking a trip like that isn’t really any different timewise.

Usually, Ewan takes his family with him wherever he’s filming because he doesn’t want to be apart from them. I guess that’s one way he’s kept his marriage together for 13 years.

He also keeps his three daughters out of the spotlight and won’t allow photos of them be published — winning lawsuits over it in the UK against Heat Magazine and others. He’s said it’s his right as a father to protect his children. Sounds like a good parent to me.
