It is the FANS who did the investigative work and discovered those names as being registered.

The purpose of taking up those domain names is to PREVENT scupulous people from exploiting other people’s names for financial gains.

The twins, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, were born shortly before 8:00 pm (1800 GMT) on Saturday, the paper said quoting gynaecologist Michel Sussmann.
Jolie is fine after having a Caesarian section, it added.
Knox Leon was reported to weigh 2.27 kilogrammes (five pounds) and Vivienne Marcheline 2.28 kilogrammes (5.02 pounds).
The babies’ first photograph was sold to a US paper for 11 million dollars (6.9 million euros), Nice-Matin said, adding that the money would be given to a humanitarian cause.
A source close to the clinic had said earlier the birth was expected in mid-August.
The twins brought 33-year-old Jolie’s brood with partner Brad Pitt to six.
Pitt was seen entering Nice’s Santa Maria clinic, part of the Lanval hospital on the seafront Promenade des Anglais, on July 2 with at least two of their children.
A spokesperson for Lanval could not immediately be reached Sunday morning to confirm the report.
Jolie and Pitt, 44, have been the subject of celebrity gossip fascination since they met on the set of their 2005 film “Mr and Mrs Smith.”
Dubbed “Brangelina,” they have adopted three children: Maddox, six, born in Cambodia; four-year-old Pax, born in Vietnam; and Zahara, three, born in Ethiopia.
They also had a biological child, Shiloh, born in Namibia, in May 2006.
The pair, who frequently top magazine lists of the world’s most beautiful people or couple, set up home in May in a chateau they rented from an American acquaintaince in France’s Provence region.

There’s just too many details about the time of delivery, the weight, the names, and all the domain names being snatched up. If it’s truly a bogus story, then someone went to a lot of trouble to fake everyone out. Lately, People magazine has been on the late freight with breaking news. It will take them a while to confirm the story. I bet come Sunday, we’ll discover it really is true.

I am worried about the boy, what if it looks like james haven.

5 pounds is very tiny — of course they will lose weight and drop into the 4 pound plus range before they start to gain weight. It will be sometime before they will be leaving that hospital. You know what’s so ironic about this? You know that wasn’t Angie’s idea. It was Brad’s! Or more likely Brad’s brother Doug pointed it out to Brad that it would be a good idea to buy up the domain names. Angie is an admitted technophobe. TV’s Extra has confirmed that Angelina did NOT given birth to her twins yet.

In an emailed statement regarding the reports, spokesperson for the Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, Nadine Bauer, says, “It is wrong information.”

Bauer also said that all information regarding Jolie would be posted on Lenval’s official website.

The names Ameline Jane and Isla Marcheline might have been true… If Knox had been a girl they might have been planning to name her Ameline Jane, from Brad’s mom’s side and they might have changed their minds at the last minute for Isla and changed it to Vivienne. A source close to the clinic had said earlier the birth was expected in mid-August.

Pitt was seen entering Nice’s Santa Maria clinic, part of the Lanval hospital on the seafront Promenade des Anglais, on July 2 with at least two of their children.

A spokesperson for Lanval could not immediately be reached Sunday morning to confirm the report.

Jolie and Pitt, 44, have been the subject of celebrity gossip fascination since they met on the set of their 2005 film “Mr and Mrs Smith.”

Dubbed “Brangelina,” they have adopted three children: Maddox, six, born in Cambodia; four-year-old Pax, born in Vietnam; and Zahara, three, born in Ethiopia.

They also had a biological child, Shiloh, born in Namibia, in May 2006.

The pair, who frequently top magazine lists of the world’s most beautiful people or couple, set up home in May in a chateau they rented from an American acquaintaince in France’s Provence region.

Pitt was previously married to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston, while Jolie has been married twice before.

Actress Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins at a hospital in France.

The Lenval hospital in Nice told a local newspaper that a healthy boy and girl were delivered by Caesarian section on Saturday evening.

Nice Matin reported that Jolie and her husband, actor Brad Pitt, have named the boy Knox Leon and the girl, Vivienne Marcheline.

Dr Michel Sussmann told reporters at the hospital that Ms Jolie and the babies were “doing marvellously well”.

The paper said Pitt was present at the birth.

The couple already have a daughter together - Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, who was born in Namibia in 2006.

They have also adopted three more children - Cambodian-born son Maddox, daughter Zahara from Ethiopia and Pax, from Vietnam.

Security at the hospital has been intense to prevent the paparazzi from taking pictures of the family.

The hospital had earlier had to deny that pictures which appeared in magazines were genuine.

Spokeswoman Nadine Bauer said they were “posed fakes”.

Why would you say that? Unless your a hen friend of hers and know of something she did privately that was NOT publicized, you don’t know.

Brad & Angelina fans, and the rest of the public assumes that she did NOT, simply because neither Aniston or her PR monster Stephen Huvane ever issued a press release of well-wishes to Brda & Angie.

Remember, ‘the war’ and the ‘team,’ thing are Aniston’s bread and butter. The day she issued/issues well-wishes, and tells people she’s happy for Brad & Angie, is the day her relevance as ’scorned woman pity-party extraordinaire,’ comes to an end.

Look at Tom & Katie, they went public with their baby gifts to Nicole, they want people to know there is no ill-will, they are doing it as much for their sake, as they are for Nicole & Keith. Tom & Katie do not want to be seen as not happy for Nic, and not wishing her well, especially in the lucrative international market that Tom needs to conquer(he can’t be seen by Australia, NZ and other countries as Nic’s weird scientology hateful husband who is holding a grudge) - so whether they are happy or not, he and Katie will let THE PUBLIC know that they are happy for her and her family - and wish them well. It is only a positive for them.

Likewise, Aniston knows her relevancy is built on ‘victimhood,’ and people feeling sorry for her and wanting her to prevail (with love, or parenthood, or in movies - whatever she’s so desperate to pretend she’s acquiring) in the face of Brangelina happiness. She tried to demonize Brad and Angie, while she played Snow White. So to keep at her same optimized level of fame which is sitting right on Brad & Angelina’s coattails, unlike Tom & Katie, her success is derived from the perceived friction and antagonism. That must continue.

That is probably why you won’t hear a peep out of her.

I think it would be nice if she did, I for one would lay off her silly asss - as it would at least be a step in the right direction in moving her off the coattails.

On July 1, Jolie checked in to the Fondation Lenval hospital to await the births. The family has been living in the south of France since this spring.

I like the name Knox!

Difficult names, are difficult for kids. Not us. They bare the brunt. Love the name Vivienne, but Knox is difficult at best. Ask any kid, and they will tell you. They tease those with the most unusual names.; like Sunday, Apple, & Coco. What happened to John, Susan or Michael?

I understand the assignment to grandparents. That’s a wonderful thing. Put it in their middle name. What’s wrong with Bradford? or Angelina for the first name?

Doesn’t matter who you are… the kid has to live with the name. Good luck, someday the kid will have a tatoo of grandma’s maiden name or yours or whatever. Mine did, it’s her middle name, Fortune. I couldn’t name her that. it would have been Ms. fortune :(

Yasmine~ I dont beleive they had their lawyer get the domains to verify the twins names, but more so, so that paps cant usetheir names to broadcast the childrens pics and info on the internet~ Of course they could just chose a different domain name, but taking the childrens names and any combination there of makes it impossible for people to post info about the children using their own names and offers the children more privacy~
