Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie welcomed healthy twins on Saturday night at Fondation Lenval hospital in Nice, France–a boy named Knox Leon Jolie-Pitt and a girl named Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt.
Vivienne is the French form of Vivian, which reflects her place of birth. Her middle name was chosen as a nod to her late grandmother, Marcheline Bertrand (Angelina’s mother who lost a battle with ovarian cancer). Knox was the middle name of Brad’s maternal grandfather (His mom was James Etta Hillhouse, her father was Hal Knox Hillhouse). Leon is the name of Angelina’s great-great grandfather.
To add fuel to the fire, Brad and Angelina’s attorneys at law firm, Lavely & Singer, snatched up all domain name combinations of the twins’ names mere hours ago. Here are all of the ones taken so far:

Difficult names, are difficult for kids. Not us. They bare the brunt. Love the name Vivienne, but Knox is difficult at best. Ask any kid, and they will tell you. They tease those with the most unusual names.; like Sunday, Apple, & Coco. What happened to John, Susan or Michael?
I understand the assignment to grandparents. That’s a wonderful thing. Put it in their middle name. What’s wrong with Bradford? or Angelina for the first name?
Doesn’t matter who you are… the kid has to live with the name. Good luck, someday the kid will have a tatoo of grandma’s maiden name or yours or whatever. Mine did, it’s her middle name, Fortune. I couldn’t name her that. it would have been Ms. fortune :(

Those names are beautiful! I wonder what the story is behind Leon and Vivienne, since Knox and Marcheline probably comes from the parents’ familys..

WOW, I feel so famous! LOL Vivienne is my name so i think that its a lovely name, also spelt the same, I was named after my father BUT his name is spelt VIVIAN., as for KNOX.. Very very kool, very different i say but thats the way to go. Choosing a name that no other baby has, surely there is another KNOX out there buh yano what i mean? What a coincedence i say. Well both babies are gawjus. Congrats to you both!

Yasmine~ I dont beleive they had their lawyer get the domains to verify the twins names, but more so, so that paps cant usetheir names to broadcast the childrens pics and info on the internet~ Of course they could just chose a different domain name, but taking the childrens names and any combination there of makes it impossible for people to post info about the children using their own names and offers the children more privacy~
In think angie and brad are two lucky parents to have three sons and three daughters and they are lucky children to have such loving parents to guide them through life. I wish them all a happy, healthy life.
