Jon Voight: I’m Happy For Angelina Jolie’s Twins
Angelina Jolie’s actor father, Jon Voight, has been busy shooting the upcoming season of the hit FOX drama, 24.
But The Insider caught up with the 69-year-old actor on his film break to ask about his two new grandchildren, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline.
Voight said, “I am deeply happy. I’m over the moon. It’s magnificent. In this world, all we can hope for is that mommy and the kids are healthy. I’m very excited and thanks for letting me send my love to them. If I were called today, I’d be there.”

Lucky, I’m kind of hoping she’ll forgive him and let him visit his grandchildren. Grandparents have a very special place in a child’s life. But that’s her decision. Neither of us knows what went bad between those two. He seems to have sort of made up with James, though, so maybe he will come to some kind of understanding with Angelina.

True. Unfortunately, I only had one grandmother in my life, as all my other grandparents passed before I was born. I would have liked to have had that. However, I think the only reason Angelina was more affected because she is more of a public figure than James and he publicly smeared her shamelessly. Also, women need their fathers in their own special way.
Plus, her family isn’t the typical family in the least, as then we should all be trying to call forth all the adopted children’s extended relatives in the assumption they’ll be some kind of “scarring.” I’m glad Brad’s family has been so kind and the grandparents are there on that side.
My cousins–a sister and brother–had a similar situation with my uncle and unfortunately, my guy cousin was affected to the point of now having mental problems and luckily, since his sister was I guess, quote “emotionally stronger” she fought to get the things a father should provide to his daughter/ child. She has a much better relationship with him than my guy cousin is just beginning to attain. Plus, Angelina has always said how sensitive she is.
Obviously all the haters or loons are speaking as if it’s all so simple/ have no idea how these situations are/ just want to spew their acerbic hatred as usually.

Love the focus on everything BUT the worhship. bwahahahahahaha whoever came up with this plan is a GENIOUS.
I am sure eventually Jon V. will see his grandchildren, PRIVATELY when Angie and Brad are ready WITHOUT THE PAPS. Angie had mentioned in her interview that they are communicating “in private.” She just does not want “drama” in the public eye which is her right. Give her time to recuperate.

Funny I have been looking out for media reaction to this story and I must say it’s been quite restrained. There was a series of high progile people who passed within 72 hours and some time was devoted to them. They did mention the births on the NY local news and everyone was like, that’s nice. LOL. CNN had the news on their news scroll. One thing I wanted to mention. On our local CBS news affiliated, the weekend weatherperson was so giddy about the news. She did the weather right after they gave the news. before she started, she mentioned that she “knows everything about “Brangelina” and she “informed” the anchor people that Brad & Angelina thought they were having two girls so it was quite the surprise. I wanted to scream STFU! You don’t know A THING! it was the tabloids who mentioned the girls. If she knew everything about Brangelina as she thinks she knows, she would know that at the Kung Fu Panda interview in Cannes, Angelina said that they didn’t know the sexes of the baby.
That Mayor in Nice is beyond ridiculous. Just make a statement or write a statement and then disappear.

I do agree with Angie keeping her father at bay, he talks alot and say things to the press without thinking, and that makes it difficult for Angie to have him around…there are just some things that needs to be personal and Jon doesnt realize that.
He needs a call, a permission to congratulate his daughter ? He cannot pick a phone on his own will, call his daughter or son or send flowers and a card ?
Wath kind of dad needs a call or a permission to send his best wishes to his daughter when in hospital ?
What kind of man can wait and be busy without taking news PESONNALY about his daughter stuck in an hospital for DAYS ?
What kind of man could let both of his children alone with Brad dealing over the last terrible time with Marcheline in agony ?
What kind of dad, can let his son burst into tears in the arms of another (Brad) who is there to console him in the absence of his father ? As if a father needed a permission to be there at this particuliar time when both his children where in agony crying over the loss of their mum…he didn’t even give a phone call !
That’s just a b*stard of man who doesn’t deserve to be call a dad !

Honestly, her EYES, both in shape and color, are MAGICAL.
Many think they are the best on her. Not “everyone” has that!
Or the lips, the nose!
Pitt has horrible nose and jaw. His eyes are beady and in the
color half of the white people has - INCLUDING ME.
But, I always wanted GREEN eyes, it’s RARE.
I can imagine her son with a pair of MAGICAL GREEN EYES -
EXACTLY LIKE MOMMY’s (and nobody else’s!)
Of course he must be very happy, but it was not necesary to talk to the media….
