Knox Leon & Vivienne Marcheline Baby Pictures On The Way!

Knox Leon & Vivienne Marcheline Baby Pictures On The Way!

Here are some more details about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s fraternal twins.

Angie, 33, gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night at the Santa Maria clinic of the Lenval Foundation in Nice, France. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.

Angie’s obstetrician Dr. Michael Sussmann told People, “The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly. Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well. The mother and father are very, very happy.”

Here’s a recap of all the Jolie-Pitt kids’ first and middle names, along with their ages:

Maddox Chivan, 6
Pax Thien, 4
Zahara Marley, 3
Shiloh Nouvel, 2
Vivenne Marcheline, 1 day
Knox Leon, 1 day

What a beautiful set of names for Brad and Angie’s three boys and three girls! As reported earlier, Brad and Angie’s attorneys already scooped up domain names for the twins.

And last we heard, the bidding for the Knox and Vivienne baby pics was at $15+ million.

Her mother grew up in a bowling alley, right? In the midwest, right? Well Goddess bless their family, now leave us all alone.

Brad Pitt: a chameleon who never loses his charm

Brad Pitt, who became a father again late Saturday when Angelina Jolie gave birth to twins, has shown he can be laid-back or uptight and can carry an indie flick or a blockbuster, but there’s one thing that stands out in his almost two-decades-old career — he’s a charmer.

Born 44 years ago in a middle-class family in Oklahoma, William Bradley Pitt studied journalism and advertising at the University of Missouri before following thousands of young Americans before him and trying his luck in Hollywood.

As for many would-be actors, the early days were tough and Pitt supported himself with a series of part-time jobs, including as a chauffeur and removal man, even dressing up in a chicken suit to advertise a fast-food chain.

But from 1987 the work started to trickle in, with bit parts in television series “Dallas” and “21 Jump Street” and a few low-budget movies.

It was in “Thelma and Louise” (1991) that Pitt got his break, displaying his talent — and half naked body — as the two-bit thief who seduces Geena Davis.

Secondary roles followed in “Kalifornia” (1993) and “True Romance” (1994) and he finally made it top of the bill later that year alongside Tom Cruise in “Interview with a Vampire,” and Anthony Hopkins in “Legends of the Fall.”

If the man People magazine twice named the “sexiest man alive” needed any further affirmation of his talent, he got it with “Seven,” the acclaimed 1995 thriller in which he played a policemen spun along by a serial killer.

The success continued in the following year with Terry Gilliam’s “Twelve Monkeys,” in which Pitt was nominated for an Oscar as best supporting actor.

The high from that accolade did not last long, however, being followed by two commercial flops in 1997, “Seven Years in Tibet” and “The Devil’s Own” with Harrison Ford. The critics were also less than impressed with his pairing with Julia Roberts in “The Mexican” and Robert Redford in “Spy Game,” both in 2001.

But the actor won a new legion of fans alongside Edward Norton in “Fight Club” (1999), and hit the commercial big time two years later as part of a star-studded cast led by George Clooney with the remake of “Ocean’s Eleven.”

Pitt’s position as a Hollywood golden boy was now assured, and his commercial clout was only strengthened by his 2000 marriage to “Friends” star Jennifer Aniston, which made them one of the hottest couples in the world.

If the symbolism of his playing the unstoppable Achilles in Wolfgang Petersen’s “Troy” (2004) was not clear enough, he starred in two other box office smashes that year (”Ocean’s Twelve”) and the next (”Mr and Mrs Smith”).

It was in this latter movie that Pitt encountered Jolie. The match-up of two of the world’s sexiest stars was commercial dynamite but did little for his marriage to Aniston. They announced their divorce at the end of the year.

“Brangelina,” as they were quickly dubbed by the media, were soon an item and in May 2006 Jolie gave birth to their first child, a girl named Shiloh.

Pitt accompanied the actress around the world in her job as UN goodwill ambassador, and also used his fame to help the reconstruction effort in New Orleans, which was devastated by Hurricane Katrina in summer 2005.

The actor scored another hit in “Babel” (2007) but has recently stepped behind the camera and successfully tried his hand at producing. Through his firm “Plan B” he was involved in Martin Scorcese’s Oscar-winner “The Departed” (2006) and “A Mighty Heart” starring Jolie, released the following year.

Still in high demand, Pitt won the Venice Film Festival’s 2007 Volpi cup for best actor for “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford,” and stars in two upcoming movies — “Benjamin Button,” the story of a man who is born old and gets younger, and “Burn after Reading,” the latest offering from the Coen brothers where he joins forces once again with Clooney.

Marcheline and Leon are french names.

“He was perfectly calm and everything went well,” Sussmann said.
“He was very happy … The emotion was very strong for him,” the doctor added. “Angelina Jolie was speaking, was laughing with her husband. They were happy.”

That is sooooooo sweet! Thanks to those who posted it. And thanks to everyone who posted the latest updates regarding JP news.

I thought Vivienne Marcheline was a touching tribute to Angie’s mom, but now that I’ve learned the translation of Vivienne it’s even more touching. And how cute is that? Not only do the three boys share an X in the first name, but they all end with an N for their middle name.
So cool.

Jared - You’ve put up with a lot from all of us JP fans. I just wanted to congratulate you on a job well done with the news of the twins arrival. You were one of the first to get it right. Thank you for all the JP threads you’ve provided us over the past few years. It’s greatly appreciated. :)

Waves and best wishes to the JP fans. :) :)

Congratulations to the entire Jolie-Pitt clan. Thank God everyone is healthy…. Mom and babies. Probably the C-section was moved forward because one of the babies was breeched like with Shiloh. I am so happy for them, and i know that they will be OK. Tired, but Ok. LOL.

We can only imagine how happy they are. God bless them all.

I have to go cook, will be on posting later. Enjoy your Sunday guys, especially as we all as fans are basking in the news of the new Jolie-Pitts.

today is a HAPPY DAY FOR FANS,LETS HAVE FUN AND FORGET THE CRAZY TROLLS,ATLEAST FOR TODAY

So why bless France? America isn’t good enough for them?

July 12, 2008 is the best day ever. It’s like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, and my birthday all at the same time (I also have an ethnically mixed family, so, Ange and Brad, I totally relate). These adorable little “jumeaux” (that’s French) will undoubtedly be brilliant, smart, and good children and adults. I wouldn’t be surprised if Knox cured AIDS and Viv (hope that’s not too casual) won a coveted Oscar(R) by her 21st birthday (July 12, 2029). Jared, you’re the greatest and most funniest! Keep up the good work!

i forgot to thank jared, thanks for everything jolie pitt

what for ugly names, ugly like the parents ;))))

I don’t know what it is but this news just gets me smiling. I’m just happy for the family. The blogmates and I have been cheering the news (even though we don’t personally know them). Just seem that so many babies are being born - famous and otherwise.

New Life
New Hope

julia, nothing can take thew joy we fans have for them, not even losers

In the state of California the father’s name appears on the birth certificate at birth only if the couple is married. If they aren’t all they do is file what is called a Declaration of Paternity signed by the father. It’s like 20 bucks to file the form. Since they’re outside the country they fill the form out and also include proof of residency like phone bill etc.

Ridiculous conversation to claim he has not rights to his children

No, that’s the oh dear of your tw*t, so please do us all a favor and close your legs.

Angelina’s Hollywood Royalty as is Brad - they are Movie Stars and Humanitarians and the biggest movie stars in the world.

Please go back to worshipping the middleaged tackhead cheesey TV sit-com hack daughter of a soap opera actor, Jen Aniston.

Don’t infect the thread of Movie Star royalty, with homely tv people.

thanks.

Charlotte @ 07/13/2008 at 2:24 pm Birth in France does not automatically confer French nationality. ”
—French Civil Code

Thanks for the lesson in Citizenship. Safe to say that Knox Leon and Viveviene Marcheline will always have that deep connection to France and perhaps reclaiming their heritage through Angelina’s mom, Marcheline.

If you are French, then perhaps these births will serve to start friendships between France JP fans, from us and all nation of the world proving that only geography separates us.

So for this glorious births and for remembrance that faithful day 14th of July, Bastille came down as symbol of Political Opression.

I say to thee and all French citizens - Hail to France !

Angelina’s Doctor: Brad Was ‘Very Emotional’ at Birth

When the moment finally came to welcome their newborn twins into the world, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were as calm as could be.

During the labor and delivery, the couple “were talking, they were together,” Dr. Michel Sussmann told reporters outside Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice, France, where twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon were born on Saturday. “It was an epidural, so [Angelina] was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy.”

Pitt never left Jolie’s side – “he was my assistant!” Sussmann said jokingly – and even cut the babies’ umbilical cords.

“He was … perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional,” said Sussmann.

Asked whether the birth had been a textbook delivery, Sussmann replied, “absolutely no problems.”

When will Jolie and the babies leave the hospital? “I don’t know,” he said. “She will stay for a few days. You know, in Europe it isn’t like in the United States, where the patients go home after three days. They will stay a bit longer until everything is okay.”

He added: “The babies are fine. The babies are with the mother and father and they are fine.”

Hopefully, the hens will go back to their musty caves at Female First and Dlisted . They obviously think they are witty but comes across as deranged, whiny hens. Good news always bring out the nutjobs. Best wishes to BP and AJ. Never fear hens, Whiny and Peeboy are still going strong. No announcement on the breakup yet (at least until after the tour and the double cd gets higher than 100k.)
