Here are some more details about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s fraternal twins.
Angie, 33, gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night at the Santa Maria clinic of the Lenval Foundation in Nice, France. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.
Angie’s obstetrician Dr. Michael Sussmann told People, “The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly. Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well. The mother and father are very, very happy.”
Here’s a recap of all the Jolie-Pitt kids’ first and middle names, along with their ages:
Maddox Chivan, 6
Pax Thien, 4
Zahara Marley, 3
Shiloh Nouvel, 2
Vivenne Marcheline, 1 day
Knox Leon, 1 day
What a beautiful set of names for Brad and Angie’s three boys and three girls! As reported earlier, Brad and Angie’s attorneys already scooped up domain names for the twins.
And last we heard, the bidding for the Knox and Vivienne baby pics was at $15+ million.

Totally agree! I’m waiting for them to give Haven as a second name, and as you’ve so astutely pointed out, that would fit in very well, I hope the next boy gets Haven as his second name.

As for the person who said it’s “lame” to be glad that the names can’t be reduced to “eee” sounding names, you notice Brad shortened up his name, which was his second name, anyway, to a masculine name with a rock-hard punch. Especially with boys, it sounds stronger to have a solid, unbreakable name.
If you think that’s lame, that’s fine, but it’s just my opinion. I like it in girl’s names too. I find that it gets old and repetitive, to constantly reduce people’s names to the diminutive name that sounds sort of childish, like calling animals doggy or kitty or horsie. Again, my opinion.
The names the JP’s have chosen for all children are elegant, and meaningful, and full of spunk and presence. The names they have can not be infanticized, and I like that. If you don’t, well, too bad — you’re stuck with them, because the JP’s obviously like them, too!

OMG, my husband just called me since I haven’t had time on the computer this weekend. Thank you, thank you JJ I was praying for a boy and a girl. Now they are really 3 boys, 3 girls, the Jolie-Pitt bunch. I love their names. One funny thing though, my belly pig’s name when I was in the Philippines was Vivian not Vivienne. Now I could hardly wait to see the twins on the cover of People. Joy! Joy! Joy!

Hmmmm….dilemma, ladies…would you rather have 6 kids with Brad Pitt, have a hot movie career with accolades aplenty, be an international superstar and humanitarian…or be in one bad rom-com after another and be a laughing stock for not being able to keep a man, then when you do FINALLY get one you have to let him pee on you to keep him interested?
