Here are some more details about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s fraternal twins.
Angie, 33, gave birth to a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline, by Cesarean section on Saturday night at the Santa Maria clinic of the Lenval Foundation in Nice, France. Knox weighed 5.03 lbs, and Vivienne 5 lbs.
Angie’s obstetrician Dr. Michael Sussmann told People, “The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly. Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well. The mother and father are very, very happy.”
Here’s a recap of all the Jolie-Pitt kids’ first and middle names, along with their ages:

Shiloh Nouvel, 2
Vivenne Marcheline, 1 day

What a beautiful set of names for Brad and Angie’s three boys and three girls! As reported earlier, Brad and Angie’s attorneys already scooped up domain names for the twins.
And last we heard, the bidding for the Knox and Vivienne baby pics was at $15+ million.

Congrats to the couple, I hope the babies are well and healthy, I have to admit that I’m curious to see a pic of the boy. I bet little Knox looks just like Brad. And I’m sure Vivienne must be cute, cute, cute, like Shiloh was (and still is).
I see AOL is stuck on stupid as usual. What do they have against these two people. It should at least be on the first page. AOL has been lacking for the last year no wonder people complain.
Which twin was born first, Vivienne or Knox?????
It annoys me to no end when tabloids just list the male twin first, regardless of birth order. Vivienne should be listed first if she was born first.
(**So annoying….J-Lo’s twins, same deal. Emme is the oldest, but the sexist yahoos in the media constantly list Max first.)
Congrats Angelina and Brad, I’m glad ro read everything went smoothly. Can’t wait to see pics of the twins, Shiloh is adorable, I’m sure the twins are just as cute.
How Sweet! I was hoping at least one of them would be a boy! Yay!! I told myself I would stay away until the babies were born because I felt awful contributing to the pap madness as Brad coming and going from Angie’s bedside, but now I just want to say I am thrilled the babies are here safe and sound.
I think the twins’ names are wonderful, one each from each side of the family. And those of you knocking Knox? Don’t worry about the little guy, his bio dad is Brad Pitt. That is all. He is going to be an adorable child and one helluva hunk one day, just like his father. And little Vivienne will be another stunner like Shiloh. How funny would it be if they were both another spitting image of Brad? Brad marked Shiloh good, and likely he did the same again this time. His genes are very dominant, I guess.
I agree with remember da truth’s comment that it is really cool that none of the kids names can be reduced to “ee” names like Billy or Tommy. That is pretty smart of Brad and Angie. And all the boys’ names ending in “x” ties them all together. A band of brothers with related names.
Anyhoo, so nice to wake up and see this news. I’ll be looking for more info over the next few days, and HAHA, so glad the tabe were WRONG about the sex of the twins!

Vivienne is a cute name but KNOX is horrible.
So cooool!! I was deep inside rooting that it will be a boy and girl. And it is!! Thanks to that discussion about fraternal twins in an early thread when it was leak Angie was pregnant with twins. Yep, Angie got knock up by Brad twice in 24 hours! And I am only 1 day late in guessing the birthdate. I said July 11, and the babies were born on the 12th! :mrgreen: Congrats to Brad and Angie. :)

I could just imagine the joy the Jolie-Pitts are feeling now that the twins are out, plus the fact that it’s a boy & a girl, it’s double the joy!!!
It feels so good to have guessed it right & my wishes did come true for them. When it’s already certain that Angie was pregnant (before it was announced that they are twins), i was already hoping that it’s twins. And when I saw Shiloh carrying 2 dolls of both sex, i begun guessing that it’s fraternal twins. Indeed, all my wishes came true. My excitement is now just indescribable. It’s so overwhelming. I am so happy for my favorite couple. I mean, two gorgeous people produced twins and fraternal at that, it seldom happens, especially from the most popular couple in the entire world. Now, i will always refer to the new-born babies as “THE” TWINS whose parents are the most watched couple, Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt.
In the meantime, while we are waiting for the first pics of “THE” TWINS, let’s savor the moment of joy & happiness for the Jolie-Pitts.

And yes, glad to know that there is a good reason for the choice of name in Knox. Ties him to family and his bros. Plus am sure he’ll one day knock them dead with cools gene. Gonna be a hunk one day just like dad. :mrgreen:

Ciev, that is a very good assesment of the names. Especially for Vivienne, because I was really wondering where that came from. But it does make sense for it to mean “keeping Marcheline’s memory alive”. Thanks!
