Too true. It is nice that it is a boy and girl since the TABs were heralding and staking their limited reputation on two girls. It is good to see them with eggs on their faces. It is always nice when the “good guys” in Hollyweird finds a measure of privacy and respect.

Thanks Neer - yes, was an editor at my HS news paper, and dabbled with the Daily Pennsylvanian while at the University of Penn. I still contribute a piece or so now and then. But really, my focus has always been Medicine- none stop all the way. I don’t recall ever taking any summer off. One of many regrets. I should have taken time to do those silly things Like ……….. wild summer nights in Palm Beach.

Anyhoo - there is one memorable comment here: boys names ending in x- band of brothers. That is so bittersweet !

I’ve always just called them the JPs. It’s just much easier.

Eventually, as Brad and Angie’s family keeps expanding maybe the press will just refer to the kids as Maddox and “the rest” a la Gilligan’s Island.

To all you people that’s commented about not liking or “hating” one or both of the babies name…get over yourself. They are not your children and your opinion doesn’t matter. Get a life

Well they are called fraternal because they are boy and a girl and
they MUST be fraternal!!! Small info from biology: Identical twins
are coming from one fertilization event where SINGLE egg is being fertilized by ONE sperm and then shortly afterwards developing embryo divides into two and two babies develop. So identical twins can be two boys or two girls…..
Fraternal twins are born from TWO different eggs which were at the same time being fertilized by TWO spearms…. So fraternal twins are just like any brothers and sisters, they just happen to grow at the same time in the womb. That is why they do not have to look alike, while identical twins are in principle natural clones with identical DNA makeup.
