what a great fefeeling for this man knowing at one time he did not know if he would ever have children and now just knowing he is in love and having the children he allways dreamed of . I am very happy for them both.

How the heck did she take care of them “by herself” the night they were born? I had a C-section with epidural too and I was out of it most of that first day. I did have my kiddo in my room and held him and fed him but it’s not like you can get out of your bed the first day. I think I smell someone stretching the truth. ;P

Tarantino jets to France to meet Pitt

Moviemaker Quentin Tarantino is reportedly flying to France on Monday to persuade Brad Pitt to star in his new movie.

Pitt is currently in France after partner Angelina Jolie gave birth to their twins, Vivienne and Knox, on Saturday.

And Tarantino has arranged a meeting with the star in a bid to persuade him to star in his forthcoming World War II movie, Inglorious ********, according to New York gossip column, PageSix.

The film begins shooting in September.

We decided Saturday morning to advance the date of the childbirth of ten days for reasons of comfort for the mom, confirmed Doctor Sussmann yesterday. And finally, it was the good choice. The babies are splendid.

Mr. Pitt exploded of joy by shouting “marvellous, wonderfull” when I put them to him in the arms.

Poor Angie, now she has to feed two little mouths. :)

#7 - I had c-sections with all 3 of my children and I took care of them completely by myself from day 1. I left the hospital with #2 and #3 in less than 48 hours because I wanted to be home with my family. It is possible.

Provincial daily grabs entertainment scoop of year on Brangelina twins

NICE, France — The world’s entertainment press tripped over themselves, making embarrassing errors along they way, as they fought to be first to report the biggest celebrity story of the year - the birth of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s twins.

In the end, the scoop went to a provincial French newspaper.

“It was Brad Pitt who chose to give the scoop to Nice-Matin,” said assistant editor Olivier Biscaye. “He said to the doctor that the local media should be the first informed about the birth.”

Nice-Matin put one of its most experienced reporters on the story, Jean-Francois Roubaud, who was given access that the rest of the media pack camped outside the Lenval hospital could only dream about. While security kept out other reporters, Roubaud was allowed inside the hospital and given easy access to Jolie’s obstetrician, Dr. Michel Sussmann.

So while the celebrity website In Touch Weekly almost got it right when it reported that twin girls had been born on Saturday, Nice-Matin knew better. The newspaper also spared itself the frenzied run-around of other news outlets following a false report at the end of May that the twins had been born.

“We knew we would be the first in the world,” said Christophe Caietti, editor of the Nice-Matin magazine section, which spotlighted the twin’s birth with a special insert on Monday.

Roubaud was given a heads up that the Caesarean section was going to be performed 30 minutes before Jolie went in for the delivery Saturday evening. The birth certificates show that Knox Leon was born at 6:27 p.m. and his sister Vivienne Marcheline a minute later.

“Rouboud spoke to the doctor around 10 p.m., 9:45. We had all the details: the names, weight, one boy, one girl,” said Caietti.

Nice-Matin broke the celebrity story of the year when it published news of the births on its website at 2 a.m. Sunday, four hours before the print version hit the newsstands.

The access also gave the paper other little exclusive nuggets, like Pitt’s first words after the twin’s birth, as reported by Sussmann: “Marvellous, wonderful!’ and the doctor acknowledging that the date of delivery had been moved up by about 10 days “for the mother’s comfort.”

As the major daily serving the French Riviera, the 280,000-circulation Nice-Matin has always made celebrity life an integral part of its coverage.

The magazine section this summer has featured photos of Naomi Campbell walking along the beach, Jerry Hall in St. Tropez and Faye Dunaway preparing for production of a film about the life of Maria Callas. But the general-interest newspaper prides itself on respecting celebrities’ privacy.

“Nice-Matin has always chosen not to play the game of paparazzi towards the celebrities who have chosen to live in the region. We respect them, and they do likewise. We let them have a peaceful life. This why I think Brad and Angelina have chosen to make this gift to Nice-Matin,” Caietti said.

Other celebrities with Riviera residences, including Elton John, Bono and the Edge, often give the newspaper access to events - on the condition they are for local publication only and not for sale, Caietti said.

On Monday, the paper featured a front-page picture taken by its own photographer of Brad Pitt (wearing the must-have item of the summer, a Panama hat) posing alongside Sussmann, Mayor Christian Estrosi and the Lenval hospital director, Bernard Lecat.

“Everyone wants that picture. It is not for sale. It would be very expensive, maybe not a million dollars, but very expensive. It is the only picture from the day,” Caietti said. “But we won’t sell it, out of respect for the family.”

So far, that is as close as the paper has come to the Jolie-Pitt family. But Nice-Matin will remain on the Brangelina story - with hopes of yet more scoops to come. They have already reported that an unnamed U.S. publication has paid US$11 million for exclusive rights to the first photo of the newly expanded Jolie-Pitt family, and that the proceeds will go to charity.

Once that deal is executed, Nice-Matin hopes to get a shot of the twins and their parents itself.
“And maybe an interview at their villa in Correns” nearby, Caietti said.

That’s very commendable with regard to your Aunt. The fact that she didn’t have one didn’t mean she couldn’t have USED one. Not everyone can afford nannies or want them. Some people’s lives are otherwise less complicated than the Jolie-Pitts as well. While some people just turn their kids over to nannies, here’s a BIG shock, some use nannies in a limited capacity. Angelina had said prior to the twins that none of the nannies stayed overnight, but that might change with the twins. Who is their right mind would lambast people for having assistance if they can afford it.

People you really need to think of something new to complain about, you should get tired of repeating over and over

1. Angie and Brad have nannies, boo who they don’t take care of their children on their own. Yeah i see the nannies taking them to the park, zoo, shopping, museums and boating all the time. NOT! Brad even said in an interview that changing the diapers keeps him humble.

2. Poor Shiloh is NEVER seen in public, you have to be blind not to notice ALL the pictures of her with her parents on the internet. Try doing a search of her name, if you know HOW.

3. Angelina called Shiloh a blob. Gwen Stefani said Shiloh and Kingston looked like TWO BLOBS when they met. What’s that? You didn’t KNOW that? Wow , i thought haters were well informed lol.

4. Angelina was on drugs. She experimented by her own admission, but so did a multitude of celebrities and probably YOUR parents. What? Not YOUR parents? Yeah right, like they’d tell you. The operative word is WAS.

5. Angelina stole Jennifer Aniston’s husband. You can’t steal a human being unless it’s kidnapping. Never heard that Aniston filed a missing person report. It’s over, done deal. You can’t move on because then you might have to stop hating or feeling sorry for Jennifer. It’s ok to sympathized because you lost a man to another woman or you know someone who has, but dang people it ain’t about YOU.

6. Angelina should forgive her father. How do you know she hasn’t? Because he hasn’t rec’d a phone call about the twins? Well, yeah that just proves your point doesn’t it ? NOT! You talk about the fans, but haters get into the business of people they DO NOT KNOW more than anyone. Try taking a look at your own life, you’d need to fix more than a few things.

7. Angelina adopted foreign kids for publicity, it’s just a show. That has to be the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard a hater say. Tell that to the thousands of other American families that adopt kids from foreign counties.

8. Brad and Angelina want the publicity. Brad and Angelina HAS the publicity. They make no bones about USING what is essentially going to be there anyway. So what? Before them you probably couldn’t find Cambodia, Viet Nam, Namibia or France on a map. They are using their celebrity to benefit others. What are you using your HATE for people? Someone is going to make BIG money off the baby pix, why not THEM. After all the money will be used to benefit the less fortunate.

9. Angelina is crazy. Why? Because she experimented with drugs, her lifestyle and cut herself? Do you think she is the first and ONLY person who has done these thing? Do you even KNOW why people cut themselves? Try reading something beside tabloids and you might find that there is a whole other world outside it’s pages. Instead, you make her the epicenter of all your hate because beneath it all you either are fighting some frigging war for the x , you’re jealous or you NEED attention.

10. Angelina is not a box office draw or a good actress. The movies she made and carried between 2001-2007 grossed over 1 billion in total box office receipts. The movies she has current in the theaters for 2007 and box office hits and got great reviews. She has been diverse in her choice of roles, she has had critical acclaim and received an academy award. To those who should know, not haters, but people in the business, she IS a talented actress. All you need do is look at the people with whom she works; those are the people who know and speak highly of her.

She is not ONE-dimensional, but complex and above all TRUE to herself and her life’s goals. Don’t be a hate- monger. Goodwill never hurt anyone. Peace.

Oh, please. “Took care of them (the babies) herself.” What a crock of B.S. First of all the epidural has to wear off. Until that happens she cannot even walk. After that the pain of major surgery kicks in. She wouldn’t be doing much bending and lifting in that condition even with pain killers which she wouldn’t be taking if she plans to breast feed. They may have been in her room but Jolie wasn’t taking care of those babies Saturday night. Why do thay always put forth these lies to make her look like supermom? It is so unnecessary.

nannygate…. they don’t go out every night partying or go on long vacations leaving their kids’ nannies to raise them. they are loving, hands on parents, and Brad is having the time of his life!

Can’t you believe all the press that Brad and Angie received? It’s insane!!!!! All the networks and media are camping outside the hospital looking for some new born pics. At 2 days old, Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline Jolie-Pitt are the newest, hottest superduo on Hollywood’s radar.
Power couple Angelina Jolie, 33, and Brad Pitt, 44, welcomed the boy and girl twins, their fifth and sixth children, Saturday night at Fondation Lenval Hospital in Nice, France.

HEALTH: Early delivery may not have been unexpected

The twins’ arrival marks the latest in the frenzy surrounding celebrity offspring and will kick off a turbocharged race for the first photographs of the children.

While celebrity baby photos are “all in demand,” the Jolie-Pitt newborns are on another level on the celebrity stratosphere, says Jess Cagle, executive editor of People magazine. “I’ve never seen an interest in any babies like this before. The thing that sets these babies apart from other celebrity births is there’s a level of curiosity about Brad and Angelina that doesn’t exist for other celebrities. These twins are really the perfect storm: beautiful, glamorous parents, a multiple birth, a media frenzy with a nine-month build-up.”

The first photos of Jolie and Pitt’s daughter Shiloh, 2, went to People for an unconfirmed sum and were published weeks after her birth in May 2006. Celebrities usually set up photo deals soon after their babies are born, often to deter paparazzi from trying to get their own exclusive glimpses.

“Maybe it does devalue the (paparazzi) photos … but I don’t think it stops photographers from violating their space,” says publicist Ken Sunshine, whose clients include Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner.

Publications usually stay mum about claiming rights to the first baby photos and the amount of money it took to seal the deal. So far, no deal has been confirmed, but photos of the twins could bring in a record-breaking figure of many millions.

Among details that emerged Sunday:

•The names: Vivienne Marcheline is most likely named after Jolie’s mother, actress Marcheline Bertrand, who died of cancer in 2007. Knox Leon’s name is more in sync with those of his siblings: Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh.

•The delivery: Pitt was by Jolie’s side for the birth and cut the babies’ umbilical cords. Jolie “was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy,” said Michel Sussmann, the obstetrician who delivered the babies by Cesarean section, a common procedure for multiples. About half of twins are born at low birth weights, less than 5½ pounds. Knox Leon was just over 5 pounds, and Vivienne Marcheline, who followed a minute later, was 5 pounds.

We shut down our office this a.m. And I’m watching nature be pretty ferocious - Bertha - while my child sleeps contentedly beside me. It’s been downgraded to a tropical storm but it sure looks like a hurricane to me.

That is the funniest, but truest thing I read. They want drama and there is non. It is so sweet that Brad selected a local paper to give the story to. And I guess People here in the states. They are always so thoughtful.

Why argue with haters with seeing problems. When Brad was younger he was a physically beautiful man. I always thought he wasn’t happy with his looks because he usually selected roles that hid his looks. He would look dirty, or scruffy, he played against his looks. He was usually more beautiful than his leading ladies or his girlfriends and especially his former wife.

Now he is a man who is still good looking, handsome. He is a man with character in his face. Maturity. Satisfaction. Happiness. Love. Peace. Brad has found himself, and he likes it. That is why he doesn’t need a pr person.

He knows who he is. Look how they have handled the pregnancy announcement and now the delivery. The doctor and the mayor are happy to provide pr and he doesn’t have to give them 10 to 15 %. The man is beautiful but in a more mature way.

I am the happiest dad. Reading this almost makes me want to cry. His feelings are so open and exposed. He loves his family and he doesn’t need a pr person to tell the world that. He can and will do it himself. Peace

I’m HIS fan, and I’m here to tell you, a majority of HIS fans couldn’t stand Jen Aniston, they thought she was ugly, homely, not interesting, and just beneath him, with her TV self. She made the fans like HIM even more though because she was so unattractive. Made them feel like they had a shot. Hahahaha.

Angelina the most beautiful hot woman ever, er basically makes his fans realize…yup…she’s who he was supposed to end up with.

I was a Brad’s fan before Angie. I couldn’t stand Jen from the first day they were dating. I was very upset when they married. How could someone so ugly as Jen marry Brad Pitt? I was a fan of both seperatly, but i must admit, when Brad and Jen Split, I was sad for him because i had just seen the ocean 12 interview with Diane Sawyer a month before, and i knew how badly he wanted children. I felt he lost his chance to have a baby he so desperately wanted. Then when he hooked up with Angie, I first felt like this was too good to be true, lol. Then I started hoping since Angie always felt she should adopt only, that Brad change her mind, because they were 2 good looking ppl, and their genes would go to waste if they never procreated together. I must say, i’m sooooo happy I got my wish 3 times already :). for them to now have 6 adorable children, it’s lovely to see brad’s dreams finally coming true.

#124: Saraicita, hiring a nanny is a last ditch option for some people who don’t like it much when other people (especially non-relatives) are too involved with the handling of their kids. If they can, I think Brad and Angelina would rather do the caring for their newborns and their growing children themselves. However, one must be practical since they are very busy and can only do so much.

It’s not about money, it’s the access to their precious bundles of joy that is giving them pause and much concern.

As for all the futile ‘ex’ references in the blogging re the birth of the twins, have some empathy. I am in no way, and have never been a fan of JA, but walk in her shoes for a moment. The last ‘buzzed about’ pap shot of her was doing a pretzel in the back seat of a car with a ladie’s man looking like his busy ass had just landed on the sharp end of a fork lift. Pan to the JP’s and see all this wonderment ….. enough said.

I can’t “empathize” or sympathize with X. I’m genetically predisposed to hate her guts. However, what I CAN do is laugh heartily at the scenario you’ve described. If X wants some sympathey or empathy, then she needs to give up that ***-for-tat mediaho crapola. That shite’s just old and she ain’t foolin’ anyone but her 2 fans.

I’d have some respect for the X if she just admitted defeat and give in gracefully. But no, she can’t do that. I was a Brad fan ever since his first Oprah appearence. Him, and him alone, was what was impressive to me, despite Oprah and her princesses’ interjection of ___. Point blank… when he hooked up with her, it was a Michael Bluth Her? moment.

As for Angelina, it was fascination at first sight. She was unlike anyone I’ve ever seen before.

Like Brad and ___, I tuned out her relationship with BBT because it didn’t interest me. The novelty that a guy that looked like that can land Angelina Jolie wore off pretty quick.

I called bull$h*t when the tabloids started speculating on Brad and Angelina on the MAMS set because it seemed like too easy of a conclusion to come to. ___ c*cking up the relationship was an easy conclusion to come to as well, but apparently, very few saw it, except those with an interest in Brad.

Anyway, I wanted to see MAMS; I loved the movie and LOVED that Brad and Angelina took the chance on each other despite a lot of HW armchair quarterbacking.

I admit I need to vent about X, from time to time, and can not stand it when she does what she always does, which is try desperately to get attention. She has NOTHING to offer, yet believes she is a superstar. All- time record outburst from me was when those preposterous fake crowd scene pictures of her arriving at LAX from London with motorcycle police escorts surfaced. It took me weeks to calm down. I agree she is mentioned here a lot, but we are not the engine that keeps the negative and humiliating stories out there day after day. It is all the blogs who are doing this, from Perez to Lainey to Ted to…ALL of them. She is universally despised by practically all gossip blogs. Can anyone name a single blog not specifically dedicated to her (if those exist, I don’t know) that is favorable to X? Just wondering.

Yup, went camping with the family, so had no access to TV or computer, just my blackberry since I don’t have a laptop. I knew it, as soon as I left town, blammo, Angie had the twins. Hi guys, I am late to the party, and this is most likely a hit-and-run post, but i just wanted to put in my 2 cents re the nanny. Another HW mom who has a nanny is Jen Garner. What is so funny about her, is that when Violet was younger she would be out walking with her, and the nanny would be with them. Apparently someone told her that she would get better press if she was with Violet alone, you know the dutiful mom, so now that’s all that’s on show.
