Miley Cyrus Sings the Blues
Miley Cyrus breaks out a blue outfit as she films alongside Vanessa Williams on the set of Hannah Montana on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills on Monday.
The 15-year-old actress is set to host Teen Choice 2008 on August 4th on Fox. Zac Efron, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, Danica Patrick, Chace Crawford and Hayden Panettiere are among the many set to appear on the broadcast.
Pop icon, Mariah Carey will be performing on the awards show.

Say what you will about Miley Cyrus (some of you will unfortunately) but Disney has made an interesting choice behind the camera. The director is Peter Chelsom a Brit whose only other what could be considered a “kiddie movie:” is “The Mighty: (1998) starring Rory Culkin, Elden Hanson, Sharon Stone, Gillian Anderson and James Gandolfini. It’s a very good film and I heartily recommend renting it
to those who haven seen it.
Another somewhat notable film is “Funny Bones” (1995) which starred Oliver Platt as a wanna-be stand-up comedian struggling to get out of the shadow of his more successful father played by Jerry Lewis. Yes you read that correctly, Jerry Lewis.
So I gotta give Disney kudos for thinking outside the box and not going with some up-and-coming commerical or music video director with a slick and hyperkinetic visual style.
I’m not expecting the next “Citizen Kane” or anything like that but this movie has just gotten a bit more interesting in my very humble opnion.
