The High School Musical sweethearts escaped to the island paradise on July 6, and stayed at the exclusive, secluded Amanyara Resort on Malcolm’s Road Beach.
“They looked like a happy young couple,” says a witness who saw the pair “laughing all the time” and frolicking on the hotel’s beach during their week-long stay.
Although Zac, 20, and Vanessa, 19, went away together to be alone, they were friendly to the other tourists who recognized them, including a bunch of young HSM fans.
“They were nice to all of the kids who approached them,” a fellow vacationer reveals. “They were a very gracious couple.”

Theyre both gorgeous. I dont know whats the big deal with 2nd picture…..theyre in love, they are dating each other and i think she’s allowed to sit on her bf like that…thats her boyfriend and they are an affectionate couple so people should stop judging them. The look great together and i think most people are just jealous. They both are very hot and they look amazing together. THey wanted to spend some alone time just like any other ordinary couple. So stop hating them!!! THey had a fun time and a great vacation.
My eyes just exploded when i saw the news and photos!! I feel like I’m floating in the air.. This is JUST AMAZING!!!! I LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT! They are seriously the cutest couple ever!! I’m so proud of where they are now and how good they are with each other.. Gotta love ‘em!

Agree with 100% anybody would think that Zac has’n got a mind of his own which is basicaly what these people are saying and Vanessa always gets the nasty comments whenever she shows affection to Zac first like she is forcing him to be with her, forching him to hold her hand when if they lookwd at the videos like from his birthday bit was Zac who reached for her hand first and he has done this on more than one ocassion, but no Vanessa has some sort of mind control over him and make’s him do excatly what she tells him please credit Zac with the sense he was born with and know his own mind and as I have said before he know’s what and who make’s him happy and sorry to his fans that don’t approve of his relactionship with Vanessa but she is that someone.
So when Zac does show affection to Vanessa everyone is like ‘aww that’s so cute’ then why can’t people think the same with Vanessa all she is doing is sitting on her boyfriend’s lap of nearly 3 years and that’s all it is nothing more and as it’s been said for all we know Zac could have pulled her onto his lap or even here’s a thought he could have asked her to sit there after all we can’t hear their conversation before the photo.
Bottom line is they are acting like a couple in love, away on a private vacation in a private resort and just enjoying being together away from the spotlight for some well earned relaxation and fun just being together that’s it.

I’m sure all of you would know the name Kate Hudson and maybe you know her mom Goldie Hawn. Well, Goldie has LIVED with an actor or MANY years to whom she is NOT married. Yes, Kate says Kurt Russell is her step-dad but he isn’t legally. But you know what? Kurt Russell was also a “Disney” kid a long time ago so should he be faulted for some kids turning out bad in my generation? Is every actor who has ever done a Disney movie when they were younger responsible for all the kids at that time? When does that responsibility end?

I have been called a lot of things here and I’m sure I will be called a lot more names before it’s all over but the other day I was called a “cheerleader” in a snide way. Well, I couldn’t care less if I’m known as a cheerleader. So, this cheerleader is now going to try to stir up the fans of Zac and Vanessa to speak out when you have a chance with all the websites and magazines who are now capitalizing on these pictures just to make a buck or be noticed. I received some things through my yahoo alerts today where they are trying to stir up a stink over the second picture listed here. These sites just want to get some controversy going just like when they printed that Zac didn’t shower! This is sick and it is stupid. People need o say these two are not responsible for raising other people’s children. They are not doing anything—even nearly as much—as college age kids do. And they ARE of the age where they can make their own decisions. They are a far cry from being 14 or 15.
Those sites who are making it sound like the little kids of the world are going to be corrupted by this photo should be taken to task for such irresponsible “reporting”. Those young people who will notice the InTouch magazine most likey will be at least 14 and at that age will have an inkling of what it is all about and won’t be “shocked” to where they will need counseling. What do you think these kids hear in school? And by that age they had better to have heard something about the facts of life from their parents. A child of 9 or 10 won’t really be noticing that magazine and they will not be thinking anything sexual as I have said before UNLESS someone around them is making a big deal that it is so WRONG. Then that poor child won’t really understand why it is—you people will send the wrong message and you will be responsible for “warping” those kids’ thinking not Zac and Vanessa.

As usual you put your point across without the need to put anyone down.
As you say Zac and Vanessa are not responable for the moral welafare of other people’s children that’s the parent’s job to teach them right from wrong as it is also the job of the parent to explain to children how the birds and bees work and how a responable couple enter into a relactionship and what that entales and the different levels of love and what it could involve.
Yes they have done Disney films but that does’nt mean that they should’nt be allowed to have a relactionship which obvioulsy is going to grow as they grow into adults and if it is explained proberly then all kids will see is a couplein a loving relctionship just being normal the only way it will come across as anything slezy in what Vanessa is doing in the 2nd picture is through the various rags that no doubt have had a field day with it with all sorts of inuendoes and who are willing to try and give her a hard time and make her feel bad for doing a perfectly normal act between a boyfriend/girlfriend moment.
Look at all the antics that BSpear’shas got up to and she was a disney kid but she still get’s the support, LLohan not a disney kid but again look at what she has done but yet again she gts the support from her fans and the press.
Yet Vanessa and Zac go away to a private place to be together so that they can show affection to one another which they know they could’nt do in L.A. and suddenly they are a bad influence on kids and should’nt be promoting that kind of beheaviour, the thing s they was’nt promoting anything seeings that they were on holiday they were justbeing themselves and Vanessa has received a load of flack for it, and as much as I like Zac I don’t see him being slagged off so much and being called name’s it’s all Vanessa yet again because she is the one showing him affection which as I have said does’nt seem to be bothering Zac he look’s quite happy to giving Vanessa just as much affection she is giving him.
So some people need to get off their high horses and just leavethese adults yes Vanessa is a adult just as mch as Zac to get on with their life and enjoy being together, if you don’t like them or especially Vanessa then don’t visit a thread that is either about one or the other.

They truly look so beautiful and lovely together! Although it is a shame the paparazzi got to them I hope they enjoyed their much deserved vacation. Seeing them gives me hope for when I get in a relationship. To some people the pictures may seem naughty but thats ridiculous. If you were the girlfriend of the hott Zac Efron im sure you would be doing the same. Seeing them so in love just makes me wonder how far they’ve gotton in their relationship. First of all I’ll just start by saying that I really didn’t want this to happen. They are a couple like any other the only difference is that even when they think they are alone they’re not! They deserve privacy and deserve to relax but now that they’re back they’re just going to see that they weren’t exactly alone and feel a “little” stalked on. I just wanted them to have a normal vacation without having their picture taken having to go through the same **** they go through daily!! Secondly al those saying Zac is gay for having different trunks everyday should really get a little common sence! Do you really think he’s going to wear the same thing everyday?! Gosh, must you haters try to find the tiniest things to pick on! And thirdly V sitting on Zac’s lap is not something to critize. All of the people saying she’s a **** for doing so have to yet mature! And mostly you all are saying this just because of her scandal OR because she’s from “disney” and shouldn’t do that. Well newsflash: SHE”S FRIKING 19!! And just so you know disney does not own her. She has a life of her own and some of you clearly have to yet get one!
