Halle Berry is a Cancer Fighter
Halle Berry keeps it summery and fresh in a black halter as she leaves a friends’ house in West Hollywood on Wednesday.
The 41-year-old actress has joined forces with the Callaway Golf Foundation and the Entertainment Industry Foundation as the 2008 ambassador for the Callaway Golf Foundation Women’s Cancer Initiative.
Halle will be featured in an extensive print public service announcement campaign this summer aimed at raising awareness and funds to help find a cure for ovarian cancer.
The Callaway Golf Foundation will also host this year’s celebrity golf tournament, the Callaway Golf Foundation Challenge, at the Riviera County Club in Los Angeles on December 15.

What a great charity and good for her. But I agree with number #11. Does the child even exist? Has anyone seen her? It is a her isn’t it? It has been so long I forgot what she had.

good going halle i myself understand cancer i lost my sister to ovarian cancer 2yrs ago maybe they will find an early treatment for it.
As we all know Halle stated on Oprah that her baby daddy Gabriel is really into golf, and this is the second charity that she has been involved with that has a celebrity golf tournament attached to it so Gabriel will play in it like he did the last one, a desperate attempt to keep him interested in her. Aside from that I am glad that she is bringing attention to a worthy cause.
A given Halle likes to be seen.
Who cares what her impetus is for being involved in several worthy causes’ golfing events whether it is to keep Aubry around or not.? I am sure she does care about the causes she supports regardless if her intentions may or may not to look like by outward appearance.
Sure, she is going to make more of an effort in her actions calculated or not to make this relationship work w/him for the sake of the child, finally learning to put someone else’s (Aubry’s/the baby’s) needs before her own. She has no choice.
Whether how actually involved he is in Nahla’s rearing or how much input he has i.e. not selling the photos, hiring a nanny etc so he isn’t always dumped with the kid, who knows?
Regardless of how Halle’s fantasy of having the perfect family ends up is yet to be seen and Aubry would probably or hopefully be involved on some level.
Good for her, good to see her out and about supporting worthwhile causes.
The golden child will appear when she is supposed to.
Do think the bit w/Halle always having bodyguards around her is a bit unncessary, but she had them around her way before Aubry was even part of the equation.
Other than still being around and appearing when Halle needs him to or when he feels like hanging with her, don’t think he could really careless what Halle does or has much to do w/the kid nor do I think he’s still around for the money, fame or it’s not really his kid, he’s still gay, etc that the haters claim. Don’t see them having more kids as soon as Halle wished in her hormonal moment on Oprah.
Still good for her on her charity work , whether or not her babydaddy plays in the Dec. charity golf open.

In fact, I wasn’t being negative in my post or at least I didn’t think I was being, that wasn’t my intention. Sorry, if you or any of the other posters.
