Hayden Panettiere has released the music video for her new single “Wake Up Call.” Watch it below!
The 18-year-old Heroes hottie, whose musical inspirations ranges from Luciano Pavarotti to rapper Nas, has said, “The concept of my video is to give a guy who doesn’t treat his girlfriend well a wake up call and show him all the different aspects of a woman’s personality.”

the music video is a mix between Hilary Duff (stranger) Britney Spears (gimme more) And Stars are blind
its horrible! like paris with an cruel fast part. and how hard she tries to be sexy it makes her look like she can’t act. it think she isn’t such a bad actress but in this video its awkward how she tries to be something/someone.
i agree that milo must be stupid to want this little girl who thinks she is grown up and a star when he had the fabulous alexis bledel.

cool song! i was really surprised! it is’nt the best song in the world but it was kinda good. reminds me alot of Paris Hilton though, which I don’t really like.

So will I :
- the song does sound like “stars are blind” in the beginning
- I like the little reggae thing it has going on and perhaps I could stand listening to Hayden sing but:
a. the fact that she does the tongue twirl that Britney used to do makes her disgusting to me
b. the outfits are way too much
c. the dancing and the whole idea behind the video do not go with the song.
Basically, it is a charade.

it sounds like stars go bling music haha.. i like the lyrics, she looks great with black hair… i didnt hate it, i mean when heidi montag and scarlett j, ohh and ali lohan sing I HATE IT!… i think its great for her first song

Nope, this doesn’t work. HP is so extremely petite and young-looking, it’s just plain creepy to hear singing on and on about cheating men and going to the clubs– after the flash-of-underpants shot, I had to stop watching it, it gave me the shivers.
I really do love her better as an actor rather than a singer. Hopefully she produces better songs. I was trying to like this but i just couldn’t! Sorry Hayden it sucked, your better at acting!

And this is not original at all, nothing special. For someone who is trying to prove they can be a singer, you need to put something out there that will touch people and make them say WOW that was amazing, not WOW what a ****.

The “hip-hop” dance scene is painful. Her anticlimactic point to the sky at the end of it reminds me, unfortunately, of John Travolta in Grease at the end of Summer Nights. Please save us.

I like this song, the lyrcs and the video. it’s a cute video. Though she looks quite scary when she was singing. I think it’s the eyeliner that kinda’ scared me a little…
The song does sound like “Stars Are Blind”, “Tide is High” by Blondie, and Gwen Stefani’s other reggae song, UB40 “Red Red Wine.”
But hey, her song is raggae so it has to have that raggae beat. I do love these raggae music!!
Oh. My. God. This is like some bad, alcohol-fueled karaoke tape at a girls-nite-out gone wrong. Why can’t actors just stick with acting??? She’s trying WAY too hard and I don’t like the Carribbean beat or whatever that’s supposed to be. I will say that unlike ScarJo, she can carry a tune
