Wyclef Jean Wants To Babysit Brad & Angelina’s Twins
The Jolie-Pitt baby pictures aren’t available yet but celebrities are sending their well wishes anyway to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon.
Here’s what they had to say via People:
Angie’s musician pal Wyclef Jean: “I’m willing to babysit for them! They will do well. I have a lot of well wishes for them.”
Angie’s costar from her upcoming movie, The Changeling: “I saw [Angie] with kids on-set and she’s just such a wonderful mom. You see her with the kids and it’s like, ‘Yeah, that’s the way it’s supposed to be.’”
Earlier today, Angie’s older brother, James Haven, was spotted visiting the five-day-old twins at Nice’s Hospital Lenval.

It would be nice if boxofficemojo would update their foreign number. They have not done so in over a week. Wanted is over 200 million now worldwide. I think Wanted will do at 135 miilion in the US and maybe even more than that internationally.

Alive or dead, Heath Ledger’s performance would still garner Oscar Buzz because as critics/fans say, its million of leagues BETTER THAN JACK NICHOLSON’S PERFORMANCE.

Secondly, obviously you’ve never heard my schpiel on Nicholson as the Joker, have ya? Let me just say I thought he was beyond bad. As in wretched. if you put a greasepaint on a bull mastiff, withheld food for 5 days, then prodded it to howl and run in circles for 2 1/2 hours…it would be a better performance than Nicholson’s. It was one of the worst of Jack’s many over-the-top performances.

Errr… speaking for myself, I would appreciate it if you would stop pulling things out of your @$$.
Assuming that you are new, which I doubt, given that fans post in Brad and/or Angelina threads, we tend to talk about their films. But we do talk about other movies that Brad and/or Angelina don’t star in. Hell… we talk about all kinds of movies. An @$$hatted hater insists on ‘updating’ fans about movies like Wall-E, TDK, Hancock, etc. Unfortunately, they rarely discuss the movies they pretend to covet; they just present projections and play ‘my star is better than your star’ cr@p.
As for the contention that some will not see TDK, it’s their right. I know some have said in the past that they plan to boycott Warner Brothers flicks, which would include TDK, it’s not like fellow fans are going to monitor the poster to make sure that he/she will follow through. It’s their personal, private choice, unless the poster comes on here bashing others who did see it (we have wingnuts who will do that).
Now… stop trying to stir up $hit!!!

I also remember the Vogue interview in which she said she told him before the interview that she’s a bit worried about it, and he told her to just be herself. Brad loves AJ the way she is!

Well, the fact that we haven’t heard a peep from the studios or QT since the meeting, it’s safe to assume that no deal has been made. For that matter, there is no buzz about Brad even being interested in doing the film.
You saw how Universal went ape$hit on him when he backed out of State of Play; they were really nasty, even recruiting ‘crew members’ to b*tch about his audacity in not pressing ahead with the project (BTW… has State of Play finished shooting? Because we haven’t heard $h*t since the studio released those pics of Crowe and Affleck filming it).
If he turned it down, smack-talking would commence; if he accepted, bragging and back-slapping would. He probably said he’d read it and get back to them, which may have been hard to swallow for HW powerplayers; you have to wonder if QT even extended his congrats before launching into his pitch.
Many regular JP fans have responded very sensibly to this poster RAndom. I just want to add one more point and then I’m done with her.
If Meryl actually said what she allegedly said, then I would say, Meryl is behind the times.
Though its hard to believe, the internet came of age less than 20 years ago. In 1986, the fax machine had just come in. I remember we had A lap top was the size of the sewing machine and we needed a trolley to push it around. In 1988, the company I worked with bought an expensive Main Frame computer - a Wang, and I had a dummy terminal on my desk. Emails did not become widespread until 1992 or 1993. The internet became increasingly available shortly after - 1994.
Yes, yes, there were early adopters and the speed of adoption was phenomenal, but most blogs and most of the internet really started to happen after 1995 when broadband started becoming available when people all over the world started putting in cables.
What does it mean? It means that Meryl is behind the times if she thinks a celebrity is playing by the same rules as she had done when she had her 4 kids.
Whether or not the JP’s or any celebrity choose to show their children’s faces will have no impact on whether these children can live a normal life. This is because none of celebrities actually have a choice in this tabloidised digital age. Their children’s photos will be taken and will be posted. It’s just a question of how much money the pap will make, that’s all.
Even if the JP’s choose to live in france and choose not to show the twins photos anywhere, there is nothing stopping a pap from photographing the children, selling it to the highest bidding tablie or blog located in the US and that would be it. Sure, the JP’s can sue and perhaps the French can take legal action to take down the offending photos but as we all know, once its on the internet, its out of the JP’s control (see baby shower photos).
Until there is a worldwide code which prevents all tablies and internet blogs from publishing photos of celebritys’ children, the photos will be taken and published and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

I do believe when he told Angie to “just be herself” it, and I do agree he is totally in love with her. He decided she was the one because he knows her and trusts her. Two beautiful people that everyone is interested in, will always generate more buzz than a great actress and a “anybody”, and that is why Angie and Brad will always be talked about, and sot after.

random person, listen? i have an open mind, but what do you want? a discussion about angie not being taking serious as an actress because people want to know as much about her as possible, first of all, i don’t buy it, and let’s just say that’s true, so what, no matter what, every little negative thing that someone thinks or feel about angie does not mean it has to be discuss, i only can speak for myself, but, i don’t want to hear it.
#751: Excuse me but we just came from the movie theater and we saw Hellboy which was a lot of fun. I laughed and I cried in this movie. I was very much entertained by Pearlman and Selma, along with the other co-stars. We do see movies other than Angie’s and Brad’s but as I said, I will only see TDK on Netflix when it comes out.
For some reason, I have no interest in plunking down money on this movie even for a dead HL.
We were going to see another movie but wouldn’t you know it, it was already gone to make room for Batman. So we opted for Hellboy which we had planned on seeing some other time anyway. So it was a win win. There were no lines for the TDK incidentally. Saw some people waiting outside the theater for Mama Mia though.
i use to come here and these wonderful fans of brad and angie, had it going on, they had pictures of the family, they had articles about their movies and their next movie gross and when brad and angie were to appear on talk shows, you-tubes links, all for jolie-pitt, those were the days. and i look forward to that day again. it was wonderful.
