Britney Spears Settles Custody Battle
Britney Spears has reportedly ended her battle to win back custody of her children, Sean Preston and Jayden James, from ex-husband Kevin Federline.
Kevin’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, says both Britney and Kevin reached and signed off on a settlement in their custody case today.
Kaplan told OK!, “At about 8 p.m. PT, a final settlement in the Kevin Federline-Britney Spears custody case was signed. All parties have agreed to the following: Kevin will retain sole legal and physical custody of Sean Preston and Jayden James. Britney will continue to have visitation rights which may increase over time. The agreement will be presented to the court in the morning for approval by the commissioner.”

Good for her for trying though and doing much better lately.
1. What she has done right now is best for the boys, look at what they have seen Brittney has been like and they maybe a little afraid. I bet it is hurting her doing this, but I bet she has a plan because K-Fed has been on his good behavior while the court battle has been going on. But then the courts may not go for it all the way.
2. Thing is she can have a conservator control tthe child support and legally it has to be spent solely on the boys.
3. K-Fred is going to F*** up big time and that will give her alot of ammo against him. After the Easter stunt of him leaving his kids with the bodyguard and the nanny6 and going to Vegas, It might hurt him and it was reported no doubt.
4. She really needs to get herself back all of the way. But I bet she will be showing her pain on her face having to do this, but it will show the judge just how much more she really loves her sons. But watch out when she is totally back in control. She will back after them
And I agree with Brenda, she’s probably doing what she thinks is right for the boys at the moment. Perhaps getting herself right first, by getting back into the studio and so on, is the right place to start.
I can’t believe she is giving up. Things look to be looking up a bit for her with her working on a new album and working with Madonna again. I’d never just give up if those were my kids.

THIS is what Kfuck is fighting so hard for? To get sole custody and pass off the duties to his nanny and bodyguard? Ridiculous.
Britney only used her babies for attention and now there holding her back from her career and the screams of her fans Britney your well enough to work than why not fight for your boys are you afraid of what might come out in court.

I don’t know if he physically disciplines the children, but if he does that does not make him a bad parent. Most of us got spanked as children.
Britney is a nasty, trashy, private parts flashing no good girl. She does not want those children. They are better off with Kevin. Britney is unfit for parenthood.

Shawna, #16, every case is different. I know people suffering from mental illness who are good parents, too, and are functional. I’ve also had an aunt with bi-polar disorder and she was an abusive mother and the environment her children grew up in was very unhealthy. They are adults now and are paying a very high price. My aunt is dead, and her husband feels like the weight of the world has been lifted from his shoulders. People have different kinds or degrees of mental illness, and they are not functinal. On her own, Britney unravelled to the point she could not function or take care of herself.
It’s no secret. We all saw it right before our eyes. She’s unstable. In time, years, she might function to the degree she can have her kids more. Her kids will also be older. Look at how bad things were when she had them. It was scarey. She had them in a very unhealthy environment and the kids suffered. Everyone knows she needs help. She’s getting it now, but she’s not in a position to take care of small children when she’s almost in a permanent state of childlike personality disorders and what ever else is wrong.
i really question wether she even wants her kids anymore!!!

this is the best for the children, everyone involved knows that this is the right decision. kevin is a good father, shar has said so time and again and she should know, after all he dumped her!now that his life is back on track again after the madness of brittany he will continue to take care of all four children.he has proved you all wrong so far so stop guessing at the outcome of all this. so what if he parties, why shouldnt he, he is not in the proesthood and still deserves a life.he knows his priorities which is the most important. good for all concerned and maybe just maybe this story will now fade away and allow people to live their own lives privately and you lot can move onto the next shocking thing to keep your lives going!
