Last year before HSM2 ever aired but when Vanessa, Zac and Ashley, etc, were becoming well known—and when Zac and Vanessa were still trying to keep their relationship low-keyed, the three of them were often seen going to these places TOGETHER to get something to drink. And throughout the year Vanessa, Zac, and Ashley have been photographed going here together and separately SO it is apparent that NOBOBY is copying ANYONE. These friends who live close to each other and have known each other for quite some time apparently like these places. Just because one of your friends likes a certain place and you also go there, does that mean you are copying her or is it your friend who is copying you? you know, I think there was a picture of Vanessa entering the front door of her home day before yesterday I believe - you can see the fireplace when she opens the front door - there is another one where you can see her walking in front of the brick hedge that is around one side of her house — you can tell the difference in it and Ashley’s door/house by the stone on the front of Ashley’s that is different from the Hudgen’s home.

Honestly, I have been glad that the paps have not been harrassing Vanessa’s Mom and Stella since she got back - don’t you know they missed Vanessa greatly while she has been away most of these many past months but they HAD to be relieved not to worry about backing over them when backing out of their own driveway!!

I realize that this thread comes up when you type in vanessa or zac and does not come up when you type in ashley,lucas etc… however I do not think that is right. It shoudl come up with all there names as this is a HSM thread and not a zac or vanessa thread. I did actually mention the other wildcats that wer not getting as uch attention as well.I in no way feel that Sharpay shoudl be the one and only main role of hsm. I do however woudl like to see a lot of her and hate it when everyone says troy and gabi are the main roles when there are 4 other charachters with there own story to tell. It is not just all about the love story btwn troy and gabriella. It is not just about people either being friends and/or causing obstacles for the happy couple. They all have there own storys. Sharpay for instance is very in to acting and drama. in the second movie e saw a lot more to her charachter, how she was not very happy with herself and how the lose of troy and the talentshow and how ryan betrayed her really effected and hurt her. Theres a lot more to that charachter. Ryan in the second movie showed that he is in to more than just drama and stepped out of his sisters shadow and became his own person. Chad got angry with Troy and it really hurt him what troy was doing. He got some sort of friendship going with Ryan which i think was really cool. As for Taylor we have yet to really see much of her story but she does like Chad and hopefully they will devop her charachter in hsm3. Even the supporting actors have a story to them. Kelsi is very in to music and zeke is in love with sharpay. Martha is involved with dancing and Jason well hes Jason. They all have there own stor to tell and it just feels a shame to me tat everybody forgets about them and there story and just focuses on tyhe bigger story of troy and gabriellas love. Yes that is part of the story but not the whole story and certainly not what the whole movie is all about. Cant you let the other charachters get a chance to shine? Recognize the actors and charachters for there role in this movie and not just as supports to troy and gabi? I realize that Ashley and Sharpay are two very differnt people and when I am talking about Sharpay thats it I am talking about Sharpay, same goes for when I talk aboutr Ashley. I am not confusing the two.

I am aware of how sharpay treated ryan. I know that it was wrong and i coudl see how hurt he was and I felt bad for him. And I do not condone this behaviour but she wasnt thinking about that. she just thought that he would be there to pick up the pieces so to speak when things fell apart and it hurt her more than words can say when he turned his back on her. They both hurt each other and I feel that Sharpay did feel badly for the way she treated ryan hence her giving him the star dazzle. Again what is the nae of this thread? HSM not zac or vanessa and whose in the trailer? THE WHOLE CAST hence we can discuss all of them. We hear and understand clearly and precisely what you are saying. But…. you do not need their address… nor are you entitled for them to personally read your letter. You are merely a fan, not that you are an insignificant person, by all means. But it would be completely ALARMING for someone, a stranger (fan or not) to have their personal info. Hospitals, Clinics, Govt. Programs have this rule called HIPPA that gets people in big trouble and sometimes imprisoned because of obtaining or giving out personal info.

As for you, what makes you so important as a fan that you feel the need to have them PERSONALLY read your letter? Don’t you think their most avid fans would want the same? First of all, let’s play an imaginary game. Let’s imagine that you get the needed address. I think you have already written your letters. Let’s imagine that you have posted it to them or one of them.

What happens if they don’t respond? You send another letter because you think that they haven’t got it? Or you start asking for their phone numbers? Or you go to LA, wait for them in front of their houses and give them your letter personally? I think you wrote that you live in NYC so the last option is highly impossible but who knows? You can be anyone, no offense, because internet is an anonymous network. That is why we are reluctant to give you info because your intentions can be anything, and you know it if you think it through from a neutral point of view.

What happens if they do get your letter? Do you honestly think that they will reply? I rather think that they will send you a signiture or even a photo but they wouldn’t do it personally. You would get a letter from their official fanbox and that’s all. Or do you think they have the time and the energy to answer each and every letter and message when their schedules are that crazy? I don’t think so.

The only reason when you should wait for a reply is when your letter has a really great message. And I’m not talking about the ‘I love you and you have changed my life’ kind of message. They know that they have influence on other people’s lives. They acknowledge their fans and are very grateful for them. So the only question is: is your message that unique or important? (Think of the British boy Connor!!!) I don’t believe that but of course I have no idea about it so I leave this question open.

I have followed your comments here and on other sites as well. You want to contact everybody who has ever met the HSM stars. You defend Ashley extremely (on the sidenote, you do nothing when Ashley is claimed to be better than Vanessa, you only write something when Ashley is badmouthed), you care about Zac and Vanessa, and it is cool. But seriously, you seem a little bit stalkerish. You post your email address everywhere and want to know everything about our favourites. Your support - if you can call it that - starts to be a little questionable and over the top to me.

So I suggest that you should stop asking for more details all the time. In my opinion, you cross a line sometimes and your actions are no good no matter how harmless you are. With or without bad intentions, your requests (personal data and more details of fan encounters) are too much. And you are the one who ridicules herself, not us who asks you not to post your email everywhere. Heck, we have even told you on previous posts how dangerous it can be to post your email address so openly. So we do care about you.

I wanted to let you go but cannot stand how you responded to the people here and started calling them names. First of all, we are in the same boat. We all love Vanessa and Zac, and some of us even love Ashley. We support them by writing here, defending them when needed and expressing our ideas. They give us joy, their work entertains us, and we are happy when they are happy. You are not different from us in a way. So please do not use harsh words on us because we are not your enemies.

Secondly, you have to understand that we - their fans - want the best for our stars. We do not want to prevent you posting your letter out of jelousy or hatred. We just want them to have privacy because, believe me, they need more paps- or fan-free time. This is a general statement and has nothing to do with you. In this question, you are equal to all of the fans. And nobody - not even you - has the right to disturb Ashely, Vanessa and/or Zac in their private time, and more importantly, at home. It is invading their private lives in a way. And I am sorry if you don’t realize this.

Thirdly, I suggest you should realize when nobody agrees with you in a debate then maybe you are wrong. We are not teaming against you but happen to think the same about your actions. You don’t have to shot back all the time and most definitely you mustn’t use harsh words because badmouthing is only evaluating you and not us. If you are 25 years old I think you should learn some rhetorics and the art of debate. It would be a very important study in your life.

You’ve all made excellent posts. Unfortunately, I think they’ve gone to waste as the intended recipient is totally not grasping the logic behind these posts.

Now this is what concerns me and slightly alarms me. Normal tweenagers from age 10 upwards understand that you can’t just ask for private details of public personae you’re not connected with and you shouldn’t give out yours. They know that the internet is faceless and unsafe and they send their fanmail to the appropriate public addresses.

When someone has reached the age of 25 in today’s America and does not comprehend what normal teenagers know as a fact of life, then I fear that there is something not quite right or normal somewhere.

I’ve followed Charlene’s comments on a number of sites, she claims to be a fan of Zac and Vanessa but as far as I can tell, she’s an Ashley fan. However, interestingly she tends to ask more about personal details of Vanessa and Zac than Ashley.

She asks for details of Vanessa’s personal myspace, her address, telephone number, what she’s wearing and how she is in fan encounters, yet most of her comments on Vanessa’s thread is to compare her unfavorably with Ashley or to insert a comment about Ashley when she thinks Vanessa is being complimented too much.

Weirdly too, she makes a lot more comments and spends more time defending Ashley on Vanessa threads and Vanessa related topics than on Ashley threads where haters are bashing Ashley.

I know that there are non-fans that keep up with news about Vanessa and Zac and we see a number of negative comments on their threads. These don’t bother me at all, they just provide variety, entertainment and debate. All in all, they are harmless.

What is becoming alarming is the quest for personal info and contact by an adult fan who does not see anything wrong in that quest and is unable to comprehend logical explanations that a normal teenager can and should comprehend. Something is just not normal.

Kudos to all our loyal fans here!! So proud to be amongst such a well-spoken, kind, and supportive group!!

I totally agree with you, naomi, midnightwonder, and Boji. I have also noticed all of charlene’s requests for info, and find it terribly alarming. She doesn’t ask for the same info on Ashley’s threads, even though she is a rabid fan of hers. That leads me to believe she is just looking to cause trouble any way she can. She wants personal info, pictures, anything she can get her hands on, not just an address to write to them about “how much she loves them.” So I don’t believe her motive is just to write to them.

charlene, I know you are upset at our concern, but your interest in them crosses the line. We are fans who follow Zac and Vanessa in a healthy way, and enjoy sharing here. You have gone beyond that in your interest in them, and seem to not realize that. Yes, we are concerned. Remember, there are quite a few health professionals here, and we do see an unhealthy, frightening interest in these two actors. Please take a step back and think about what we have all said. But my tactfulness is gone, I must admit and there are too many people coming out to address a real concern here. So, here goes: I think charlene loves Ashley and has a belief she knows what is best for her and she is compelled to defend her even is the insult is only in charlene’s mind like getting so upset when we pointed out that Zac and Vanessa were the stars of HSM. We said nothing bad about Ashley but it truely upset her. She used the excuse that she was defensing all the other 4 actors like Lucas, Corbin who had big roles but that, I think, was just another way of boosting Ashley because she was upset that VANESSA was getting more attention.

Although she want us to believe she also loves Zac and Vanessa, I think it infuriates her that they are together. It may be that she thinks Zac is “meant” for Ashley and Vanessa is in the way. So that is why she is so concerned about there every move and where they might be at all times. I fear for Vanessa’s safety more than Zac. However, she may be so upset with Zac for being with Vanessa that Zac might be in danger also. She may resent Zac for wanting and obviously loving Vanessa so much. And her obsession is getting more intense as that fact becomes more and more apparent. In a much earlier post she was obsessed to know where Vanessa was going to have her party—I don’t think she had one—when her CD was released. She was desperate to find out just as she asked whether HSM3 would have their premiere in NYC. Yes, IF she is 25 years old chronologically she certainly isn’t that emotionally and that is why I fear her relentless pursuit to get this personal information.

In one of my post I asked her what she would do if she did not get a reply and if she would take that to mean they didn’t get it even if she KNEW it went to a private address. And what concerns me number one is she says she wants to know they got it and wants to know they read it for sure. Well, wonder if they don’t reply? Will she keep sending them messages until she thinks they will? And apparently she doesn’t know even if it is a nice letter that may start waving red flags in the camps of Zac and Vanessa that there is something “off” about this person I think it will drive her over the edge if she is sure they got the message, read the message, and then didn’t respond to her. It will be a rejection which will make her want to “work” that much harder to get a response and may lead to a lot less “nice” message to the point of outrage.

Then there is just as distubing consequences IF she should actually be one of those people who would get a personal response from Zac or Vanessa. When this happens obsessive people then can become convinced that the celebrity “knows” them personally and there is some kind of “connection” which gives the fan certain rights and privileges the rest of the world doesn’t have. I believe if I’m not mistaken that is what contributed to Rebecca Shaffer’s murder. The guy who committed the crime had received personal messages from her in return for his fan mail and he developed a wile scenario all his own about what she was saying to him.

I’m sorry I I am wrong about any of this but I do think their is something amiss and somebody could actually be in danger since no 25 year old could fail to understand the logic present here. If nothing else most people would just be embarrassed to be so blatant and obvious. But that is the problem she CAN’t stop herself it is an overwhelming compulsion to keep on until she has what she wants or has achieved a goal or “mission” she feel she has to do.

Well, I HOPE that you are wrong. I am an optimistic person so I rather believe that Charlene is only a teenager but no matter how old she is, her actions are frightening in a way. (I don’t want to express my concerns but sometimes I do feel that some people need help in these threads. She is one of them.) Her obsession is beyond our control, in my opinion. IF she is only 15 years old she needs to contact someone in her school who can help her, but IF she is 25 as she states it then maybe she needs real help from a professional.

I am not saying that she wants to cause any trouble or harm either Vanessa or Zac. I am just claiming that, in my opinion, she is too wrapped up into the HSM world so she might consult someone to find out the motives behind her actions, or she should choose another creative hobby that will make her mind occupied with.

I don’t know her and I definitely don’t want to judge her. I only expressed my worries. It would be so good if she had the guts and would explain herself to us although she had to answer herself in the first place. And it would be much better if she would think through her actions that cause posters who don’t know her personally to start dealing with her character and obsession.

Regarding Charlene’s obession of getting Vanessa & Zac personal information. I think Charlene needs major professional pyschological help. She is a major Ashley fan and will do anything and everything to get Ashley more more famous than Vanessa. I believe at the start she wanted Zac with Ashley and not Zac with Vanessa, however, the reality of Zac and Vanessa kept showing up lovingly together at various places, events, and especially vacationing together. Ashley and Jared kept showing up together in many places as well. So, Charlene just stop trying to put Zac and Ashley together and went with the fans of Vanessa and Zac.

Then the fans of Zac and Vanessa were commenting on which HSM stars should have the most screen times, and that HSM2 has too much Sharpay in that movie…Charlene’s opinions are that Ashley should get the most screen times and should be the main star of all HSM. She also commented that HSM2 is perfect because it has all of Ashley in it. Most of fans here support all the HSM casts.

Charlene is asking too many personal questions regarding where Vanessa and Zac home address and where about. Psychologically, Charlene claims to write or tell Zac & Vanessa that she loves them…hmmm, that is sign of psychopathic obession to do harm. She also does not take criticisms very well. She may try to do some harm to Vanessa so that Ashley can get all the attention.

I hope I am wrong about Charlene. I hope to GOD that Vanessa will be protected and be safe, as well as be on guards against crazy and scary fans like Charlene.

First I would like to thank you for being so kind in your post. There are numourous others who were not as kind and I really appreciate it. Now to answer your question if I sent them a letter to their house and did not get a reply that would be that. I would not continue to send them letters or ask for any other kind of personal info like that. I woudl know that they got and received my letter, as opposed to fan mail you can never be sure. I however do believe that if I sent a letter directly to their house, therefore they ovbiously have read it that they woudl infact replay back because as you stated before I woudl send a very differnt meaningful letter. I actually wrote Ashley a huge 12 page letter that I sent to her fan mail and I believe she woudl reply back to that if she got it however they probably do not get all fan mail so who knows if they ever saw it? Thats why if it was sent to her house yes I really hav e no doubt I would get a reply. I am differnt frm manhy other fans as I do not just like them because they re celebrities but because they seem like realy sweet people and I think they appreciate being treated as such which is how I would treat them if I got a chance to send said letter. I am not saying that Ashley is better or more talented than vanessa. I think they are both talented great girls. I just happen to like Ashley slightly better. Please do not put words in my mouth. The HSM charachters are not real to me. I understand they are fake however I like to analyze and delve deep in to their motives and charachters there is absolutly nothing wrong with that. Infact I am pretty sure you do the same with Gabriella or at the very least you feel saddened when she is hurt or upset. Going back to read all the debute comments of all the fans are saying the same thing, however, your comments are very consistence on more Sharpay. There were comments that HSM1 has a good amount equal screen times on all the 6 major casts, but you claim HSM1 did not cover each of them equally. And now, you have change your tone so that you won’t be considered as some estrange fan. I have just read on VanAshBreNique website to tell fans to vote for Ashley, however, you want Vanessa to win to but it said you could only vote once. Celebrities have a reason for not wantingtheir addresses made public knowledge. They have the right to keep their private lives just that, PRIVATE.

As it says on IMDB, Zac had to change his phone number after the first HSM because tons of teenage girls kept calling him on the phone. And after finding out that one of his neighbors took pictures of his pool time with Vanessa, he couldn’t even feel comfortable hanging out in his own apartment recreation area anymore.

Charlene, my suggestion to you is to send your letter to the address at zefron.com and trust that if it is as unique and special as you feel it is, it will make it’s way to Zac’s hands. The ladies who run that sight seem like decent and reliable people.

I know you would rather it not be read by other people, but you have to be realistic and understand that is not possible.

If you truely have nothing to hide and your letter is innocent and harmless, then letting one or two other people read it should not be that big of a deal.

In terms of getting a response, there are many people who write to Zac and Vanessa, they just can’t respond to everyone. If do send it, please don’t be disappointed if their is no reply..

Just be happy knowing that they most likely got it and know how you feel.

I’m not going to ask where and when it is being held as we don’t want unwanted people gate crashing. I can imagine all the yummies being prepared. i guess you’ll have games, competitions and prizes as well and are the staff allowed to bring families or is it strictly employees only? I used to be on the organising committee when I was working. We had trips, picnics, fund raising dances, and just company functions where the staff would perform dances and I was amongst them. Had great fun while it lasted.

It’s staff only Boji, prices are just too high to let employees bring their families.

And the caterer is a friend of the family who is also a teacher at a cooking school. I had to stop reading the menu because it was making me hungry even after I had already eaten.

I’m not dissing a 12 page letter but I did read on one website where they were talking about what makes a letter stand out, etc, and one of the things it said NOT to do was write something that was really long and rambling because the celebrity finds it too time consuming and those type letter tends to be too overwhelming. This was a few years ago but I would think it has the same relevence today.

When I was a soph in college I received a dozen long stem red roses and what seemed to be a sincere letter from a guy who lived in my hometown but someone I didn’t know as he was a few years older than me. He had seen a senior picture of me that a friend of mine had and for some reason thought I was something special. In a way, I was flattered that someone would think I was anything special and yet it made me extremely uncomfortable. I contemplated a reply to acknowledge the gift but considering I didn’t know him, he had gotten my address at school—I was in another state at the time—and what he wanted was for me to respond so he could feel a “connection” of some kind that was NOT there for me even though it was a very sweet gesture. I could not further some kind of feeling on my part due to the strangeness of the situation. So after much thought I did not respond. So, just because you may think your heart felt effort and the feeling you put into it should get a response just for that sake, you will probably be disappointed because they are coming from a different side of the coin.

I had almost forgotten that incident since it happened over 30 years ago. BTW, this guy lives in my hometown now since I moved back here several years later.
