‘90210′ Cast are Party People

90210 cast members Dustin Milligan, Jessica Stroup, Ryan Eggold and AnnaLynne McCord attend the CW/CBS/Showtime/CBS Television TCA party at Hollywood club Boulevard3 on Friday.

When asked about her character (spoiled and attractive rich kid Naomi Clark) on the show, AnnaLynne said it’s basically the PG-version of Nip/Tuck’s Eden.

Also pictured: costars Michael Steger, Tristan Wilds, Shenae Grimes and CW Entertainment President Dawn Ostroff.

It was just announced that Shannen Doherty will be bringing Brenda back to her old zip code.

90210 is scheduled to premiere on September 2 on The CW.

Even with all this attention the show is getting from the Celeb Blogs, it will not be a success… It will garner a lot of attention at first, from people wanting to re-live the old days, but beyond that it looks doomed. The new people look predictable, and boring (and a little older than i would expect).. When a show has to fill itself with cameos of has beens from the original, how good can it be?

Enjoy it for the 6 episodes it might last …

Nothing can replace the original. The blonde kinda looks like Charlize Theron and the brunette an odd version of Lindsay Lohan. The guys look a mess though!

I love Analynne, what a strange spelling, anyway I loved her on nip tuck , she commands your attention when she’s on screen, it’s perfect casting.

Most of these people, save Shenae, look like they have been out of high school for about 10 years.

This show will probably not be good. I just can’t picture it being anything special. American TV shows about high schoolers are so cliche and overdone. Take a cue from Skins from the UK. Now, that is more believable yet still addicting and fun to watch. Plus, the actors of that are actually the right ages.

Shenae Grimes is from a Canada tv show, that’s somewhat big here if you have a network called the n. She’s from degrassi and she just did a movie wih Ashley Tisdale. She’s really taltened, in my books anyway. And will be good on this show. I know it’s not gonna live up to the orignal 90210, but I think it may do well enough on it’s own.
