Slightly OT…

I was over at the Halle/Nahla thread and man, people’s issues go beyond the JPs. They’re complaining about Nahla’s coloring and theorizing whether she has a cleft palate.

I haven’t been on the thread, but I did see the pix. I’m sure I’m going to regret asking this, but - How in the hell did they come up with cleft palate from a picture of the back of the baby’s head?! Oh wait…let me guess…they decided that since Halle didn’t sell the first pix and the baby’s face was hidden in Halle’s shoulder in these pix…then the baby must be deformed?

The really sad part about these pix is they were obviously taken in someone’s yard - on private property - with a long-range lens. It’s crap like this that’s the reason Brad & Angie chose to sell Shiloh’s first pix. Other celebs are now doing it to pocket the loot. At least Brad and Angie are giving the money to charity.

piper, with a low, do you know that I have never seen The Fightclub from end to end. Every time it is on I miss the beginning and either catch it in the middle or near the end. I am going to have to watch it. Thank you for discussing the ending because I also had some questions. Peace

Now they are saying Halle shacked up with a white guy because she wanted a white baby and she didn’t sell the baby pictures because she is ashamed of the baby for coming out dark. They are also saying Aubry left her because he thinks the baby isn’t his.

Turns out Eric Benet was the nicest of the lot. Pretty sad huh? And anyone who’s laid eyes on Gabriel Aubry ought to be able to figure out why she’s with that man! Looks like that and cooks, too? If Halle every dumps him I’m sure there’ll be a line of women a mile long ready to take her place.

A hit with the critics, Wanted has some impressive credentials, including Angelina Jolie, who played the heroine Lara Croft in another graphic novel franchise. In Wanted she’s the lethally seductive, enigmatically inked enforcer Fox, and it is her task to transform McAvoy’s character from lowly office dupe to top-notch enforcer.

“Angie was great,” McAvoy says. “The biggest trouble with movies like this is that, because it’s so physical with the stunts and the fights, you spend your time working out and lifting weights for hours on end. It’s really boring. Maybe that’s why I like Jane Austen stories where being buff is considered ill-bred.”

Having had his taste of life as a celluloid superhero - and demonstrated sufficient fidelity to the Wesley Gibson comic-book model to satisfy the Wanted franchise’s fans - he’s not ablaze with desire to become the next big action hero. The working-out part can only get tougher as he gets older, he says. But, even as an actor on a roll it’s still not entirely up to him.

“I imagine that if they do a sequel to Wanted - and I’d certainly do it if it was in the offing - it would mostly depend on Angelina,” he says. “If it fits into her schedule and they want to do it, fine; if not, there are other movies and other possibilities.”

Gosh i hope they do come up with Wanted 2 one day. That would be awesome!
Nobody but nobody else can be Fox but Angie. And being an action flick using their 8imaginations they can make that happen. jmo

We don’t have to applaud women’s choices, but we don’t have to attack them either. Having babies in or out of wedlock is a choice we are lucky to have. Jealousy is such an ugly emotion.

My comment was not just directed at posters on these threads. I guess I should have been more specific. These catty and judgmental comments are certainly not limited to Just Jared. You see it on all blogs and hear it in conversations. I guess I was referring more to women bashing other women’s choices in reproduction. It just seems sad that women can’t be more supportive.

oh & I did take your comment out of context regarding the reproduction part. I dont think it should be limited to reproduction choices, just women in general. Just like how women blame each other when a guy cheats. I dont think what happened is Angelinas fault but a lot of people still blame her and thats not right either.
