The reason they aren’t smiling in this picture is because at least 20 people were yelling at them on the street. How do you think that child feels with complete strangers yelling SURI SURI SURI SURI SURI trying to get her to look at their cell phones. Look in the one picture how close that woman is.

Is that Katie’s Scientology handler, the woman in the shirt with the green and white striped sleeves, Katie’s handler had dark hair like her, kinda hard to make out though. But maybe Katies had her reactive mind removed already so therefore she’s no longer capable of independant thought.

#28 I totally agree with you. I don’t know what has caused Suri’s problems. ONLY the people she calls Mom and Dad can answer that. I hope some sicko didn’t get a hold of her.

You’re quite right about that. Angelina’s kids had to go to through the same thing. People used to say that there was something wrong with Z because she never smiled. No normal kid wants to smile when there is a wall of photographers screaming at you to smile for their cameras. It would turn any child off.

However — that is not what bothers me about Suri. It’s not that she doesn’t smile for the cameras, but that she seems disconnected to what’s happening around her. She seems emotionally walled off from people. I don’t know how else to put it. I don’t know if this is because of her being spoiled and pampered like a princess, but she doesn’t seem to be stimulated and encouraged to grow. It’s like she’s being treated like a little doll baby. She needs to be encouraged to run around and play and get dirty like other children. A younger sibling wouldn’t hurt either.

About her still being in Pampers and on the bottle: a lot of normal two year olds are still on the bottle and not potty trained yet. Give her another six months or so.
