Brad & Angelina: Go, Go, Greece!
After leaving the French hospital where she gave birth to twins the weekend before last, Angelina Jolie was seen at her family’s Chateau Miraval property, a beautiful little paradise castle in the South of France.
Joining Angie for a day of fun in the sun was partner Brad Pitt along with their children, Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2. Brad’s parents, Bill and Jane Pitt, were also present!
Angie gave birth to Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon on Saturday, July 12. She and the fam will be flying off to Greece next!

First Batch of Toronto Film Festival Films Announced

As much as I love the Sundance Film Festival, it does only come once a year. As a perfect compliment to that fest, the Toronto International Film Festival takes place every September and is just as fun and exciting of a festival. This marks their 32nd year and promises to be one of the best with an already intriguing line-up of films revealed. Although none of these films announced in this first batch of titles really stands out, except for one, The Good, The Bad, and The Weird, I’m interested in discovering new films that I haven’t yet become familiar with. As a brief introduction to the festival that is set to begin on September 4th this year, we’ve listed the first few titles that were announced in their diverse line-up.
So far there’s a good selection, but I’m anxious to see what else will show up. I’m hoping Fernando Meirelles’s Blindness, Clint Eastwood’s Changeling, The Coen Brother’s Burn After Reading, Steven Soderbergh’s Che, Pierre Morel’s Taken and Spike Lee’s Miracle at St. Anna will also debut there, as I’m very excited to see all of those films in a festival setting. Although we’re still in thick of the summer movie season, I always keep independent movies on my mind. I’m very excited for the Toronto Film Festival to swing around because it really kicks off the Oscar season of films usually with a great line-up. Last year Juno, Michael Clayton, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, and In the Valley of Elah all premiered at the festival. Stay tuned for our coverage and much more closer to September!

Consider the summer slate. Few read the comic book Wanted, but Universal turned the violent, R-rated adaptation of the assassins’ story into a $100 million blockbuster. The Dark Knight bordered on R-rated violence and became the biggest opener of all time. Iron Man cast a former drug abuser in the lead role and received praise from all corners.

Good Morning all. Mama Angie is an in demand Actress. People are attaching her name to various movie projects for press and to garner interest. However, she is a Mom first that is focusing on her family. BP has a successful production company and is a mover and shaker in humanitarian and movie projects.
There are a zillion rumors surrounding them and the internet can spread viscous rumors faster than the speed of light. BP and AJ ignore the noise and focus on their family. Keep positive fans of BP and AJ. Times have changed but we can march along and support BP and AJ. There are many options and support can be in many forms, whether through seeing their movies, supporting their humanitarian projects or being of service.. Peace to all.

To say nothing of the Leslie Bennetts “Unsinkable” crapfest. Plus, Vanity Fair seems to specialize in de-humanizing Angelina. I sure hope they don’t! They don’t owe anyone photos of anything or anyone. If they can’t safely sell the photos to help their casues why release any photos at all.
Angelina has made no inquiry for a supposed Catwoman role.

You are very intelligent. People assume there will be pictures. Why? Is it written in stone that this is a requirement? They already did that. I think that there will eventually be pictures but not now. Maybe in a couple of months.

Saw The Dark Knight in IMAX this evening. I was underwhelmed.

Join the club. I saw it in a regular theater and was underwhelmed. That movie would have been a lot better if they hadn’t thrown in everything and the kitchen sink. Chop 30 minutes off that sucker and it would have been a much better flick. I hate to say it because Aaron Eckhart was one of my favorite parts of the movie, but they could have left out the transformation of Harvey Dent into Two-Face and saved that for the 3rd installment. They should have used this movie to build up to the tragedy that ruined half of Harvey’s face and picked up the third installment there. Instead that last 30 minutes they threw in everything they could think of.
BTW - please, don’t anyone bother to say there were spoilers in what I just wrote because there aren’t. The Batman lore has been around for about 50 years. If you didn’t know Harvey Dent turned into Two-Face, then you must have lived your childhood in a vacuum.
