OlderMiley Cyrus: Paparazzi Are “Not So Cool Anymore”
Teen sensation Miley Cyrus recently spoke with Extra! about her current life as a teenager and her new CD, Breakout. Here’s what she had to say:
On shedding the good girl image: “I wanted to embrace my older audience a little more…kind of taking shackles off and doing the music I wanted to do. They are the things I want to say to the world. I just want this to be a CD that you can let loose to and dance to and kind of forget all the crazy stuff!”
On how she deals with the constant media attention: “There’s going to be that no matter what…I am obviously under the public eye a lot…Instead of putting negativity to it, taking the opportunity to make it a positive thing. It gives me an opportunity to voice those decisions, those things I go through a little more publicly, and hopefully they help people out in their lives.”
On paparazzi chronicling her every move: “Yeah, 24/7. It’s weird. At first I kind of always wanted it…then once it started happening to me it’s not so cool anymore.”
On her family being protective of her: “My big brother [Trace] especially…I love him so much. He’s always been very different, me and him both, and so we’ve both kind of gotten scrutinized for that and he kind of understands and he wants to help me through it.”
On critics calling Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato the next “Mileys”: “People are looking up to what I do. But, I don’t think there could be a next Miley. I think they should be the next Selena, Demi…make their own way.”

ok i no, i always wished that i could be famous but you know i just cant but if i were famous right now then you know i would kinda like the pap but if they followed my everywhere i go then i would get annoyed so i dont blaim miley! i love miley cyrus!!!!!! but here is some advise for all of the famous stars that dont like pap then just ignore them they just want money they dont really care sometimes they just want the stupid money!!!!!!!!

you go gurl!!!~she’s definitely changed so much after the whole scandals and stuffs,but she’s changed and regaining her popularity again :) demi’s alright,but selena’s a total WANNABE.bitchy look and whatever,you just wanna be the next miley-which is NEVER possible!!!!her fame can never reach the level of miley’s.so you go gurl!!!!~and older audience meant people who aren’t young kids,doubt she would wanna sick for young kids all her life.BIG FAN!!!~

Well, I think that was a really good interview, good point about everyone needing to create their own style and image. Regarding the bad pictures/ good rolemodel stuff, well, I don’t really see how that would affect her music, which I sorta love (the Miley Cyrus stuff). And the pics were painfully pg-13 anyway, so come on she’s fifteen, let her live. And yes, I’m 20. Shut up.

Ya know Miley is just such a talented girl and a good model. I look up to her for everything and i totaly get the paparazzi thing she is stateing. I love her and I think her life is going to be great from here on out!!
hi miley my name is laya and im 9 years old and I love your music I got all of your cd’s and when I grow up Im going to be a singer to I love to sing and this one time I signed up for this talent show at the holiday in and I song if we were a movie but I did that when I was 8 years old and i live in the state of michigan miley if your reading this right now then if you ever hear me sing and you liked it please try and make me famous because its my dream and this other time at my step dads memorial I song the song make some noise and when you sing I think that you have to have soul because when you sing I think you should sing about how you feel and whats going on in your life and miley you sing so amazing and beautiful and miley I just want you to forget about all those people that say your horrible at singing and all that other crap and when I see people saying that stuff I think there stupid then because I guess they don’t now what good music I I love you miley thanks for reading
i think after all the heat she has taking i definately think she has mature and she is a role model because eventhought she has been bash by incensitive people she held her head high and came back stronger than ever. people that were her friends turn her back on her we she needed them the most if you know what i mean. she has dealt with back stabbing friends,media bash,people bash, stolen pictures that people staring talking bad about her and like in her song nobody is perfect but she definately has come on top of thing by staying positive and holding on to her dream and working hard for it and more than ever she a role model she did NOT GIVE UP!!! and to think she is only 15 she did really good on this interview i dont think there could be another miley she work really hard to get up there. i think selena and demi also need to work hard to make their own way they are ok. but miley has a gift the way she so down to earth and cares about people. i think she here to stay for a while why not she works harder than any other teenager or some ground up i know. she just taught everyone never to give up even when things are hard.
