Yeah its pretty lame all you people who hate Vanessa, cant you tell that zac and vanessa love eachother .. by the pics and all. So yeah you can have your opinion on her and Zanessa but really its pointless.

Yer i tottally agree this so called ‘celebrity’ really gets on my wit. She hasnt done anything but an alub woohoo.
But I do think Zac and ashley can come out of this Disney crap. Zac is making his way, as Amanda said with Orsen wells, and ashley is doing movies even though they are high school ones still hopefully she’ll break out of her shell.

Megan, if you’re going to use your criteria for success, then Ashley hasn’t done much anything much different than Vanessa. They’ve both done other movies, TV, and albums. Ashley is still on the DIsney channel and just did a DIsney movie, “Picture Perfect.” Vanessa just finished a non-Disney movie “Rock On”, so she’s moved beyond the Disney **** too, as you say. Ashley did too. So what’s different? She just “bugs” you because you like Ashley better and want her to be with Zac. Just be honest.

So, most of the people who post regularly on this thread have read my self-declared status as a hippie- but let me say it again. Where is the love? Why spread hate?

Do you all know what is going on this world? Global warming, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, the economic crisis in America, a very controversial presidential election in Nov. 2008, poverty and aids in Africa, genocide in Darfur, natural disasters in China… I could go on forever, they’re all enormous problems in our society. For those of us who seek happiness in the smallest places - like checking up on our favorite celebrities- we find it incredible that with all that’s going on in the world, you haters are concerned about a picture that a 16 year-old girl took of herself. I think that is one of the smallest, more manageable problems in our society. I don’t know if you’re just letting off steam and de-stressing after living another day in your crummy life, but hating on others is not going to help you at all. If you said, “I think she’s made poor choices in the past and I can’t look past her picture scandal.” don’t you think that would be a lot more acceptable than “She’s a ****”? Not to mention it’d make you sound more intelligent and you wouldn’t be name-calling. But anyways, to the person, sorry I don’t remember which, who said that they think her album didn’t do well because it’s directed at 12 year-olds whose mothers control what they listen to- and don’t want their kid listening to someone who’s taken pics of herself naked- I have to disagree. First of all, I think parents should be role models for their children. Be the person you want your child to be. Your child might love Vanessa and if so, say to them “She made a mistake, one I don’t ever want you to make, but she did apologize and she’s paid for it several times over in the past year with all the scrutiny in the media. She didn’t drive drunk, kill anyone, or take any drugs- the only person she hurt was herself- so be proud of her because she has learned to conduct herself in a better way and risen above her previous self.” But if you can’t be the person you want your kid to be-I would much rather my kid, not that I’m a mom, model themself after someone who has made mistakes and then looked at themself in the mirror and said, “Yeah, I made a mistake, I owned up to it, and now I’m going to hold my head up high and carry on with my life.” As opposed to someone who’s been handed everything in life and has never had to experience any of the uncontrollable misfortunes life occasionally doles out. It’s easy to say you’re perfect and a good role model when you’ve never been tested. I admire Vanessa because in the face of controversy, she kept her chin up and had the confidence to carry on. We’ve all done stupid things that we regret, whether you can admit it doesn’t make it any less real. I attend one of the biggest party schools in the state where I reside- YEAH, I’ve done stupid stuff, I’m not ashamed because it’s a part of life. Did I learn my lesson? Thank God! Did Vanessa? I think that’s obvious.
