Jennifer Aniston Leaves Sunset at Sunrise
Jennifer Aniston and a friend leave Sunset Towers in West Hollywood early in the morning on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old actress’ dog, Norman, reportedly dislikes her new boyfriend John Mayer. “It’s funny because John likes dogs but for some reason Norman has taken a disliking to him. Jennifer dotes on Norman,” a source said.
“She treats him like a child but she’s got to the point where she’s had to keep him out of the way if John is around. Jennifer has been reassuring John her beloved pet doesn’t hate him, but just needs to learn to trust him.”

@mime @ 07/24/2008 at 12:29 pm @ comment 173: The one thing the infamous VF interview made clear to me was Angelina Jolie had NOTHING to do with Pitt and Aniston’s breakup. Aniston or maybe one of her surrogates (I don’t remember) stated Pitt did not show up for the last taping of Friends. This I believe happened in January 2004. Pitt and Jolie had just started working on MAMS, so you can’t blame Angelina for his no show. I think this marriage was on its last legs and neither side was even trying to put up a united front at this point. This, more than anything in the interview, proved to me Jolie was in the clear. Did Aniston ever visit Pitt on the set of MAMS? I believe the entire shoot took place in LA with the exception of one week in Italy ( and that didn’t happen until Oct/Nov 2004).
Response:
Aniston did visit Pitt on the set of MAMS and she met Jolie once. As for the time MAMS was being filmed I have the following website on the beginning of filming for this movie.

Please do not rewrite history. Aniston met Jolie at the Warner Brother slot one day NOT at the MMS set. She did not set foot on that set at all.

Jill, thank you intelligent lady. I appreciate the comments you made to me!
voe @ 07/24/2008 at 11:31 am Agree with you about perspective.
Aniston’s career hasn’t been hurt by Nancy’s telling the world about the young Aniston though. Sex scandal and beauty perception do not have same effect.
Speaking of perspective, most actresses, because of their wealth and fame, tend to live in a neighborhood far different from our own. In such neighborhood, hardly anything can stir up scandalous dust. But in ordinary neighborhood, things are different.
________
It is that exact neighborhood that is eagerly awaiting to believe every cra@p that is published for any celebrity… That’s why I think an interviews like A’s mother’s are a bad choice… I mean look, so many years later people are still discussing about it. But yes, I can’t say that this has really harmed JA’s career.
Anyway, if they had issues they should had solved them privately.
I stick to my opinion that being a parent doesn’t give you a blank check and you DO need permission. Goes without saying that a child should equally respect parents.

congratulations jennifer on being one of the top earners you deserve it love you
edward,
I don’t think all the neighbors read tabloids, watch entertainment news on tv. Mine certainly don’t as they have never discussed celebrities, not one word. But they do comment on how terrible a neighbor is. For all I know some of them may secretly talk about celebrities on line, just as I am, and you perhaps. But judging by the names of the so-called regulars here, I doubt these regulars could really make a difference in these entertainers’ career. Their movies not selling well are due to story line, subject, directing, cinematography, acting. Popularity can only carry one so far. But most importantly, movies goers are not stupid that they would repeatedly watch bad movies out of devotion to one actor they love. So, I really don’t buy into the idea that tabloid craps can ruin an entertainer’s career. If he/she robbed a bank, killed a person, yes, but her mother’s saying craps about her? No.
The interview is talked about many years later because of the perpetuation of the triangle, not because of the interview itself. It, like all other unsavory matters regarding these three people, has always been brought up to counter a criticism.
You wrote “being a parent doesn’t give you a blank check and you DO need permission.”
My stance is parents DON’T need permission. They don’t trash their children because they LOVE the children. LOVE is not unconditional. It may start out in such state but can’t be so indefinitely without effort of both sides. To keep it both parties must earn it. I personally believe that having worked to provide for the children, parents have demonstrated their love thereby earned it, more so when they have struggled.
I agree with your last statement.
So the question is who is to blame first in this mess between mother and daughter?
Voe,
We don’t disagree in many points the way I see it…
I don’t know what kind of impact some cr@p tabloid story can have on a celebrity’s career, because frankly I have not given it much thought. You are probably right and quality of work has A LOT more to do with it.
But one thing I know for sure. It’s not JUST about the triangle. I mean on different boards, about different actors, tabloid stories are repeated endlessly by fans or what I’ve come to know as haters. I can tell you about a story being repeated ad nauseam about “The Incredible Edward” even though it is officially confirmed as b*ll*cks…
Have you seen “Notting Hill”? When Grant tells Roberts that today’s newspapers will be lining garbage cans tomorrow and she replies “everytime they are going to write a story about me they are going to dig up these photos”… there is a point there and MAYBE that is harm enough…
We just disagree about the permission thing… oh, and even tho I don’t have children of my own (closest thing to it a pet that I was bottle feeding and have for 16 years now) I DO believe that a mother’s love for a child is indeed unconditional, every other kind of love has to be earned but not this one.
As for who’s to blame? Both really, seems the right answer.
TO LAURA2,
I ADMIRE YOUR LOYALTY AS A JEN FAN, AND THE RESEARCH YOU MADE TOWARDS HER LIFE. IT SEEMS THAT YOU BELIEVE EVERY WORD THAT COMES OUT OF JA’S LIPS. HMMM… I DON’T WANT TO ARGUE WITH THAT BECAUSE WHEN WE IDOLIZE, WE TEND TO EMBRACE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE PERSON. THE SAME WAY I IDOLIZE ANGIE.
AS FOR THE MAKING THE MOST MONEY, IN MY OPINION, THIS IS NOT ABOUT MAKING MONEY, THIS IS ABOUT MAKING A DIFFERENCE. AND ANGIE DOES THAT, JA MAY BE FILTHY RICH, BUT I THINK IT IS ABOUT TIME TO REFLECT AND REALIZE THAT HAVING A LIFE DOESN’T INVOLVE A MAN. SHE CAN BE HAPPY ALONE.
AND TO THE HATERS, PLEASE MOVE ON. JA HAS MOVED ON. SHE HAS JM WITH HER NOW. STOP INVOLVING THE JP CLAN. THEY COULDN’ T CARE LESS WHAT WE ARE ARGUING ABOUT.
TO MIME, VOE, ORCHID, JILL, AND TO ALL AJ FANS, LET’S ROCK!!!!
OH AND EDUMACATED, I SALUTE YOU. INTERESTING POINTS AND REBUTTAL.
AJ DOES NOT FLAUNT HER CHARITY WORKS. SHE HAPPENS TO BE FAMOUS THAT’S WHY SHE IS BEING FOLLOWED EVERYWHERE SHE GOES. SO IT FOLLOWS THAT EVEN THE TEENY-WEENY TASK SHE DOES ARE REPORTED.
I WONDER, JA IS ALSO FAMOUS, BUT I ONLY READ A FEW REPORTS ABOUT HER CHARITY WORKS.

I just hope Laura2 doesn’t believe everything she reads. I still don’t know if JA’s mother was very sick and JA didn’t help her at all. Laura2 just said not to believe it, but that doesn’t make the story untrue. If the story is made up, why doesn’t JA sue?
As for JA making more money, I think that’s great. I hope she’s happy.
I read in another post, I think it was by ‘the real lou(?)’ that health is wealth and family is treasure.’ Can’t agree more!
jen making more money than angie is where the big difference is between the two. Angie made less money because she took care of her family and did her UN work and in spite of getting less money she was generous to give a part of her money to the less fortunate. Jen who made more money than angie spent all of her money only on herself. This is the reason why angie is admired by a lot of people from all over the world. She sacrificed her career for family and even shared whatever she made to the less fortunate.
I am more entertained here by how personal everyone is taking everyone else’s opinions to heart. You are right, I don’t know much about Jennifer, Angie or Brad, I mean I have never talked to them or really care to. I have my surface opinions which do not effect my life one way or another. I admit that i read the mags from time to time and I feel bad for actors because anyone can write anything about anyone and get away with it now days. But believe me when I write something, it’s not because I had a bad childhood or break up or any major drama. It’s just an opinion. These people are crazy. They post all over all of these blogs and fight with people they don’t even know about people they will never meet. Someone wrote me a thesis about how immature I was to think what I posted. You know, if people would approach each other with respect, maybe they would make them see another view. I could even admit I was wrong because I wasn’t as educated about a subject as someone else might have been. But speaking of immature (which by the way, how can anyone judge anyone by one blog? Just because they don’t agree with your opinion? How mature is that?) People attacking people because of an opinion is as immature as you can get! I am not directing this to anyone specifically, I just think that it is cowardly to fight with people who don’t come in to fight. Granted, there are haters that just come in to pick a fight but I was blown away by the blogs I read not just to me but other people that didn’t seem to be looking for a fight. It just seems so sad and cowardly. I mean would these same fighters pick a fight in person? Unless everyone is under 12, I am not sure I understand the passion here of the people fighting with each other. It is comical. I never knew that this place existed until a few days ago and it is sad how some people obviously have no lifes except to hang out here all day long. Turn your computers off people and go live your lives. Angie and Brad and Jennifer most likely have never been on this site and never will ….but people write like they think that they have the time to drop in regularly. They don’t. They most likely stay away from places like this!!! I know I will…. People who fight in here are probably measly little sad people that are full of anger and have no other way to express it. Those people with road rage… hiding behind their hunks of metal honking but in this case typing away. LOL LOL LOL

Jolie, Pitt and progeny, under the press’ watchful eye.
“Have you no sense of decency, sir,” the U.S. Army attorney asked Senator Joe McCarthy, as the red-baiter tried to push his witch-hunt on. “At long last, have you left no sense of decency?”
It’s a question the press must now ask itself.
In America, Us Weekly has just reported on the recent birth of twins to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, and speculated on whether or not their beginning was in vitro. And many American papers dutifully picked up the story.
In Israel, Barack Obama — who, like all American politicians, is now prey to celebrity reporting as well — has had the prayer he wrote and stuffed into the Western Wall retrieved by a yeshiva student, published in an Israeli newspaper and circulated via blog.
And I think: Has it really come to this?
What’s next? Shall we now aim surveillance microphones at confessionals? Go through the garbage outside celebrity ob-gyns?
True, there is no love lost between Brad Pitt and Us Weekly. (I was at a “Troy” junket where, before sitting down for a press conference, the actor first made sure that the gossip magazine’s correspondent was ejected.) And Obama has many critics within American Jewish and Israeli circles.
But is this what the press is now reduced to?
Writing stories about what did — or didn’t — take place during the conception of a couple’s children? Stealing a man’s private prayer — and please don’t waste my time with legalistic definitions of “abandoned property” — in order to display it?
Could any ethicist come up with a clearer definition of “invasion of privacy” than this?
I won’t repeat the Us story — or link to images of Obama’s note — here. That would only legitimize the reporting.
But as a journalist — as someone who has spent more than a quarter of a century trying to ask people what I thought I needed to ask, but only what I thought people needed to know — I have to look at these other writers, and ask them what Joseph Welch asked more than 50 years ago.
Have you no sense of decency? In the end, have you left no sense of decency at all?
Thank you for your help!
