Jennifer Aniston Leaves Sunset at Sunrise
Jennifer Aniston and a friend leave Sunset Towers in West Hollywood early in the morning on Tuesday.
The 39-year-old actress’ dog, Norman, reportedly dislikes her new boyfriend John Mayer. “It’s funny because John likes dogs but for some reason Norman has taken a disliking to him. Jennifer dotes on Norman,” a source said.
“She treats him like a child but she’s got to the point where she’s had to keep him out of the way if John is around. Jennifer has been reassuring John her beloved pet doesn’t hate him, but just needs to learn to trust him.”

“JA seems very needy and insecure.” — the media started portraiting her as an insecure woman after the divorce. Maybe she was insecure at the time. Who wouln’t be, given the situation?? she’s only human. She moved on. Anyway, to me she seems just a warm, sensitive person (even the x-husbund said so..). That could be interpreted by some as needy but i would take that over some overly-confident and cold person any day.
“I get the feeling if you asked JA about her opinion on the Darfur situation, all you’d get is a blank look.” — I don’t think not knowing about the Darfur situation makes anyone dumb, much less a bad person. AJ should know and talk about it, she works with the UN. JA said that it wasn’t her thing being a political-celebrity type. And that does not mean that she doesn’t know what goes on in the world.

No , the book just made it worse. She stoped talking to her mom cause 5 years prior to the book her mom participated on a gossipy celebrity tv show in which she discussed her daugther’s life without her permission.

Anyway, i remeber hae saying how after the divorce they started to talk to each other again, but very slowly.
You know, that tells me that only when she felt low, only when she was suffering after the split, did she reach out to her mother. Which is better than never, obviously. I hope it taught her a lesson.
OH, and the “sick mother” story is a tabloid garbage written right after she openned up about her relationship with her mother on Vanity Fair. So i wouldn’t believe that one.

No you didn’t. You gave examples of what she has always done — profess her love, then in the next breath, CRY about how ugly her mother made her feel. There ARE no interviews where she merely speaks kindly of hermother, for she is compelled to publicly humiliate the woman who gave her life, yet NEVER a public criticism of the man who deserted his family. Why? Because she is a bitter, emotional cripple who wants to blame her mother for her lack of self-confidence. She is a woman who has never learned to stand on her own and face her demons. I’m obsessed because I read a BOOK??? Stay with me now (since this may be a challenge to your underdeveloped intellect), but READING BOOKS is one of the ways educated people acquire knowledge. I have also read ALL of Henry James, ALL of Tolstoy (in the revered Maude translation), all of the works of all THREE Bronte sisters (those talented gals were SO ahead of their time), and just about every other piece of classic literature from the 19th century. I, and those in my circle, call that a well-developed intellect and a love of literature. Reading — you might want to give it a try.
I could have sworn you previously said you were “done with me”. It cut me to the quick — I weeped as much as Maniston does when she gets dumped (LOL!!!) Seriously, you know the Cult of Maniston can’t bear to refrain from responding to any criticism of her. I understand. She is, after all, such a font of human goodness and kindness. She has contributed SO MUCH to improve the lives of SO MANY. Of course, her humanitarian works must be subjugated to her yoga classes and her staged photo ops. (LOL!!!)
I can’t wait to see the weep-fest that occurs when Mayer inevitably dumps her.

Well, Orchid. The story is garbage, as you can read. If there’s some truth to it, i don’t know. Problably not. It’s from Star so that alone tells a lot. They probably just wanted to make some drama (and money) out of the recently made confessions that JA made to Vanity F.

I don’t think JA is a bad person either. I think she’s shallow, superficial and self-centered, but that doesn’t make her a “bad” person. It just makes her a boring person.
She may, as you say, know what’s going on in the world. But she just gives the impression that she doesn’t care very much. That, to me, is selfish.
One thing celebrities know they have is enormous influence. They know if they get interested in whatever cause concerns them, they can get their fans interested, too. It’s called using your fame for a good cause and there is not a thing wrong with it. Aniston could do the same — she still has lots of admirers — but she doesn’t seem to want to do anything except lay around all day long. And at her age she needs to be involved with something because she can’t rely on her looks much longer.

I’m sure you haven’t acquired any educational knowledge by reading Nancy Aniston’s book.
The ‘mending fences with her mother,’ story is just that, a STORY - a lie. She and her publicist decided to pretend that was the case right as she publicly attacked Brad in the press, and tried to ruin him with her expose and ‘tell all,’ they thought she would look a lot better, and more of a sympathetic woe-be-gone innocent victim of ‘brangelina,’ if she wasn’t seen as being estranged from the only parent who raised her, clothed her and put a roof over her head til she was an adult. Showing the actual reality, that she is a vengeful mean-spirited c*nt to her own mother who raised her and supported her as a single Mom, and who she still doesn’t speak to, to this day - would have TOTALLY ruined the ‘image,’ she and Stephen Huvane her PR puppetmaster were going for. That of the, nice girl next door done wrong. No one want sto hear about the nice girl kicking her mother in the head, leaving her penniless, and never introducing her to a spouse.
The mending fences is a lie - as we can see…that bish has been seen with ever Arquette in the business, her hens and her hags, her co-stars, peeboy popster, bloaty McVaughn, Sculfor, and her assorted other lackeys and lames, and never ONCE in the company of her mother.

LOL, Jill, if that is not a bed person, i don’t know who is. Well, i think you’re so wrong. And i know you won’t change your oppinion.
I just think that not making her life about kids and humanitarian/political work is not shallow. And come on, we both know this “she doesn’t seem to want to do anything except lay around all day long.” isn’t completely true. She does her share of charity work. Ahe always did. Even before Brad she was already involved with St. Judes hospital. She donates privately. She doesn’t have to go to Africa in order to do that or be a spokesperson for the UN. She does the normal stuff that everyone does. She goes out dining with friends, she walks her dog, she likes sunbathing, she goes out with boyfriend, she works, she does not try too hard!… I’m sure you’ll find that all really boring compared to your wonder-woman-type idol, who is apparently perfect, has 6 kids with partner of 3 years, shots guns, visits refugees and flies planes.
My God … people really don’t like this woman!!

They are celebrities, even if they give money privately, humanitarian organisations will say that to the press because of the publicity so that other people can give more money also!! Jennifer has an half bro from her mother side who is 10 years her senior. This bro is married and has two kids. She also has a half bro from her father side who is 24.
Why in the hell, is she NEVER pictured with one of them, her nephews including, even during her larriage to Brad ? Taking a coffe, going to restaurant or on a trip, on family reunions and barbecues, ect. Not a single time ! Not even mentioned in any interview !

I agree! I didn’t even know that she has family!! She is never with them, I really don’t have respect for this woman after I saw an article where people (close to her) are saying that her mother is ill and that she didn’t want to help her!! Brad really escaped on time! She was using him for her career and she lied to him when she said that she wants to have kids! In every single interview in 2003 or 2004 Brad was mentioning kids and family!

Back up. Did Laura2 just say that Nancy went on a talk show without Jen’s PERMISSION? Did I actually READ that right? Wtf?!??? The dog seems smarter than Jen at the moment. Reading some of the previous post I begun to realize one important point.
