Christian Bale Puts On Brave Face

Bale’s ugly nose is like Ming’s from Flash Gordon.

I like his suite.. the stripey texture is cool.

I don’t like the bashing of his wife in this thread. She’s not ugly and is indeed good enough for him because he loves her. Who cares if she’s not your typical arm candy.. all women are going to grow old anyhow and she will probably age a lot more gracefully then the girls that are all hair and makeup tricks.

If the chance ever came up, I keep wondering if you people who insult celebrities on blogs would ever do it to their faces? Or do you only spew your garbage here & on other threads because you’re anonomous here & wouldn’t get insulted right back.

The only Batman movie I liked was the first; the others have been a retread of what was then original & different from other movies out at the same time. Would TDK be making even half of what it’s done so far if Heath Ledger was alive & promoting it alongside his co-stars? And all this talk about Golden Globes & Oscar noms &/or WINS be happening if he were alive?

I can’t help but wonder how many people are going into theaters to watch a man who’s no longer here - It’s like stopping to watch an accident on the off-chance of getting a glimpse of carnage.

Don’t get me wrong, his death so young was a horrible tragedy for his all who knew him (fans include), and I have no doubt this is 1 of his finest performances… But it was NOT his LAST role. “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” is set for release NEXT YEAR thanks to other actors helping to finish it up.

Will all the awards shows give him noms & wins posthumously for that one too?

I hope I’m wrong & that those going to see TDK are doing so because it’s that good… but, I’m too cynical to believe it.

They’re posing on the red carpet. It’s an artificial situation, they’re performing. There’s nothing to be read into it….. you can’t tell diddly squat from their faces.

As as for Sigi having the same face in most of the photos.. well, yes, They’re taken within seconds of one another, while posing. His face is the same in the pictures too.

Geeze… use some common sense.

By the way, why assume Bale’s Mom is a nut and that he’s automatically innocent? There obviously was a row.. but let the facts come out before defending someone, anyone or assuming the tabloid reports from anonymous sources are accurate.

Maybe its all these movie themes of mixed emotions leading to violence. Like in Equilibrium which he is great in actually. The problems and observations of a society can be extensive. Maybe they (His family members) just thought he did cos they might have become confused by persona. Hope he gets it sorted.

I think he looked great in American Psycho, but now in the new batman- talking in the silly voice kinda ruined it for me! But he did look great in American psycho, Ida let him chop me up after having his way with me! His wife is kinda plain, maybe he likes that kinda hippy thing goin on! I think she needs to dress as herself! Maybe some scarf dresses, some boot cut jeans with thin flippy flops, and an off the shoulder peasant top, then shed be hot! I think she looks rediculous wearing the designer gowns a beautifull make up job, but no hair style?? She is a hippy type, and should definetely lossen up a bit, and not try to pretend to be flashy when shes not, cause she could be a bit more attractive when shes a bit more comfy!

I must agree these are not his best pictures, and his wife definitely needs to learn to do something different with her hair, and get out of those black dresses.

I for one find it refreshing that he loves and is committed to his wife. She is by no means ugly but I think the fact that she isn’t a trophy wife proves that he has some depth to him. I think it’s awesome that she is older than him too at 38….same age as me. Who would want someone who chose a partner based solely on their looks? Where does intelligence and personality, love and loyalty factor in?

Okay read more of these comments and man. People are mean. If I was famous for any reason I would ran like hell from camras.Not talk to much about my own personale life.So bale as kept a low profile.He loves his wife, and gets fed up with family time to time. Sounds normal and human to me. He is not really batman you know! So calling his wife a dog and talking about why he likes her is pointless. He dose and for god sakes the woman in not fuming at the mouth creature. She a good looking girl. Be nice.

Just not as sexy as Michael Keaton.
