It’s no wonder that the The Jonas Brothers are the latest cover models for Rolling Stone, as photographed by Max Vadukul.
With a wildly popular tour and a new record expected to sell millions, Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20, make up “The Clean Teen Machine”. Here’s an excerpt from the mag’s feature article on what differentiates each of the JoBros:
“Kevin, the oldest, is the extrovert, chatting up bus drivers and security guards, crouching on his knees to greet little kids at shows… Middle child Joe, who resembles a prettier version of the actor Peter Gallagher, is the quieter Jonas, with a wild alter ego revealed onstage, where he swivels his hips and twirls a mike stand like a lightsaber. ‘I’m really inspired by Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury — the big frontmen,’ he says. ‘I heard Jagger does an hour on a treadmill before every show.’ … Nick, by contrast, is the Jonas Brothers‘ boss — the spokesman, the best musician, the chief songwriter. It might seem odd for Joe and Kevin to take their lead from their kid brother, but the Jonases don’t see it that way. “Nicholas has always been older than he was,” their father tells me. Despite his heartthrob status, Nick has more Eddie Vedder in him than he does Shaun Cassidy.”

No, we are not looking at 2 different covers. These boys (especially Joe) ARE ugly and will soon be “has beens”. Seriously, this is probably the worsr RS cover ever. They’re trying too hard to be sexy/cool/hott and they look horrible. What’s with the weird stares and smirks? They are NOTHING like the legends listed in the article. They make “pop/rock” music, but act like they’re rockstars. But guess what? They’re not. There are musicians out there right now that make “pop/rock” music, but they do not try to embrace that pesona OFF STAGE because everyone knows they’re not “rock n roll” singers. Those people are/will be around for a while because of that understanding. The Jonas Brothers aren’t.
