It’s no wonder that the The Jonas Brothers are the latest cover models for Rolling Stone, as photographed by Max Vadukul.
With a wildly popular tour and a new record expected to sell millions, Nick, 15, Joe, 18, and Kevin, 20, make up “The Clean Teen Machine”. Here’s an excerpt from the mag’s feature article on what differentiates each of the JoBros:
“Kevin, the oldest, is the extrovert, chatting up bus drivers and security guards, crouching on his knees to greet little kids at shows… Middle child Joe, who resembles a prettier version of the actor Peter Gallagher, is the quieter Jonas, with a wild alter ego revealed onstage, where he swivels his hips and twirls a mike stand like a lightsaber. ‘I’m really inspired by Mick Jagger and Freddie Mercury — the big frontmen,’ he says. ‘I heard Jagger does an hour on a treadmill before every show.’ … Nick, by contrast, is the Jonas Brothers‘ boss — the spokesman, the best musician, the chief songwriter. It might seem odd for Joe and Kevin to take their lead from their kid brother, but the Jonases don’t see it that way. “Nicholas has always been older than he was,” their father tells me. Despite his heartthrob status, Nick has more Eddie Vedder in him than he does Shaun Cassidy.”

Wow, the days of rock are over! I guess with so much hip hop and kiddie rock tho Rolling Stone had to sell out and put these guys on the cover. Who else is left? They’re isn’t much for good American music.

I have to say, I love the Jonas Brothers to the end of the earth and back. But the cover… Joe’s the center of attention as usual and as amazing as they look, I just wish it was a little different.

If they do die out in a couple years (I truely doubt), then they have finally reached the high point, Rolling Stone is BIG!! They deserve it, they do write and play awesome music!
Question though, why do magazines always mention Joe as ‘the pretty one’? That’s mean to Nick and Kevin. I can admit that Joe is VERY handsome in person, but so are Kevin and Nick! I know that Joe is actually quiet, but it’s weird to hear it when he has such a loud alter ego on stage. Kevin and Nick’s parts sound just right though, Kevin’s so sweet and Nick’s so focused haha they are so cute!! That picture should make me feel awkward, but I just adore it! They all look so gorgeous and grown up! Well done boys, continue dominating he world!!
