Sen. Barack Obama takes the cover of People magazine’s latest issue.
Joining the 46-year-old Democratic presidential candidate on the cover is his wife Michelle, 43, and his two daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7. Here’s a little sneak peek:
– Barack’s daughters get a $1 per week allowance from Dad for doing their chores, like setting and clearing the dinner table.
– The kids receive no birthday or Christmas presents from Mom and Dad, who spend “hundreds” on birthday slumber parties and, as Barack puts it, “want to teach some limits.”
Also featured on this week’s cover is the debut of former Pregnant Man’s baby girl, Susan Juliette.
“She’s so precious, I just can’t stop staring at her,” Thomas Beatie tells People in his first interview since he and wife Nancy returned home. “Just holding her is the best feeling in the world.”

The biased coverage of this candidate over all others sickens me. I am a Democrat but do not want to vote for him. All the biased coverage makes me want to do anything but vote for him.
What an effing hypocrite Obama is. He made such a big deal of saying he would keep his daughters out of the spotlight, after Access Hollywood, and now here the girls are on the cover of People. I guess it’s true that he’ll do anything he needs to if it will think it will get him elected. I like Obama, but I really feel he’s being forced down our throats because the media wants a black president.
Well, I’m from Illinois and I love the Obama family. How great it will be to have a president who is smart, well-spoken, and not a drunken cokehead warmongering diot who got where he is on family money and connections. Go Barack!

Its hilarious seeing McCain and at the time, Hilary, use the buzz word ‘elitist’ as if people don’t know what they’re doing. A sucker is born every minute.

The “elitist” thing drives me crazy. This is the guy who wants to get cheap health insurance and good public education for EVERYONE, not just his rich buddies.
Compare that to the jackass who starts a massive war on behalf of his oil buddies that costs $300 million PER DAY and fought by poor kids who can’t afford college otherwise. And who gives massive tax breaks to the top 1% of the country, and a measly $600 to the poor folks.

Get the feeling that the media is forcing Obama and his wife down our throats because they want a black President no matter that this guy is a media creation with no real creaditals to be President, everything about Obama is hype, is it not enough that they use hype to sell everything else now they want to use the Presidency as a PR game , God I hope people are smart enough to see through Obama and his PR team.

who ever the next president of the us is; be it obama or mccain, i dont envy him. the man will have to spend the first two years or so just undoing all the damage george bush did. first off, the new president will have to repair relationships with other countries. that no longer trust the united states.then there’s the “truth” issue. people outside the united states have spend eight years listening to all the lies coming from the white house that we no longer believe anything the united states government says.

I’m so sick of seeing this guy.. especially nothing but this guy! McCain gets zero coverage compared to Obama.
Not everyone out there is a democrat and not everyone out there is planning to vote for someone(Obama) just because it’s the trendy or popular thing to do.
Most of the idiots with the Obama signs or tees don’t even know why they plan on voting for him.
I understand he’s part of a groundbreaking presidential run and that we live in MTV times but I really hope people are educating themselves properly before the hop into that election booth.
As for the democratic party in general, more breaks and easier doesn’t in my opinion make for progress or change. There needs to be a certain strictness, amount of rules, and order to keep things running smoothly. I really haven’t heard Obama put his foot down on any of the tough issues or say how he’s going to make any forward motion from Bush.. which is what going into the next term should always be about. I just hear how he plans to give people breaks. Big deal. Some of you will have a small amount of cash left in your pocket .. big whoop.

Show how little you know. I am in California and will never, ever vote for any ticket he’s on. He’s a fraud. Has the experience of a nat. If he was “a typical white” man, no one would pay any attention to him. We need a president, not a star - stars are a dime a dozen.
Nobam is going to bring our troops home…after they stop in Afganistan for a few years first. What a fool!
