Barack Obama Covers People Magazine

Wow….Some of you people really have some pinned up anger against the obviously best candidate we have for president. I really can’t even phathom a 71 year first term president that has been running for president for some 25 years….I feel like Sen. McCain feels like we (America) owes him something for being a POW.. OK…Maybe Sen. Obama should make him the Secretary of Defense or something. We are not thinking seriously about John McCain as president , are we…Didn’t he lose to Reagan…Then Bush #1 and Bush#2…..This is like sending in your third string gaurd to play against Jordan….

It is so sad to see people attack someone based on the appearance of one’s wife and children. Barack Obama may not be someone you like or want to be president but please don’t attack his family!! God created ALL of us and we are are ALL beautiful. God does not make a mistake and we are all created in his image. May God Bless all of you who have made mean and hatefilled comments about Senator Obama’s family. This man has been sent to us by God. If it is His will no matter what anyone says, he will win. No one liked MLK and this man made America WHAT IT IS TODAY. No one in the world would have had respect for America if MLK had not come along. I am 55 years old and I have seen a lot of things. Senator Obama is spiritual and has been sent to us by God. In all my life I would never have dreamed that a black man would have a chance at becoming president. the Bible will be fulfilled no matter what hate is revealed by the Devil.

I truly believe that a number of these folk who are voicing negative feelings in regard to Obama have low self esteem and are jealous of somone with confidence and the ability to communicate with most sane people on a humanitarian level. This business about the Antichrist is ridiculous. Obama is a very handsome, smart and charming man. He gets more scrutiny simply because he is black. He has indeed gotten more press than McCain but most of this press is negative. A study that was done by a respected university has noted this fact.

I dont think Obama is the anticrist for one he is to dumb the antichrist would know how many states are in the union. But it is very strange to hear all this about the antichrist and then that appears on the cover of an american magazine.

Across the country, corrupt and partisan left-wing organizations such as ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) conduct mass voter-registration drives that do not attempt to weed out illegal voting applications in any way.

Illegal’s also steal our identities in the U.S. and believe me they are voting in the presidential race. How many of these illegal’s are terrorist wanting to see the fall of the great satan. Now the only question is- do they along with the idol followers of Sen. Obama outnumber us?

There is strong evidence that Sen. Obama is a Muslim. Just because he joined a(so called) Christian church means nothing because at Trinity church you can joint as a muslim and remain a muslim in there congregation.

What is he? He is a Muslim marxist and a black theology leader to all the people who want to destroy our way of life. I do not believe a word this man says. When he does say anything -he uses other people’s speeches like they were his own. It is obvious that he will say anything to get elected. WHY?

This could really be a plan of attack. What better way to destroy us from within then to fill our country with the enemy and vote one of their own as leader of our nation. Remember these people have been know to plan for attacks for many years.

You are the type of person who could not convince a fly to change his/her mind because your description of Senator Obama is juvenile. This is the very mentality that shows me the limited intelligence of those who do not see the spirituality, kindness and the knowledge that Senator Obama has to offer. And by the way, I am not a robot. I have a great deal of education and experience and have the know-how to make a calm and rational decision based on facts as opposed to the rants of irrationality.

My purpose is not to convince anyone to vote for Senator Obama. I could care less! But I do support him and believe that if you do not, don’t vote for him. That’s your prerogative. I do believe that you are out to smear Senator Obama and his wife and I do not believe that you approach is professional. Do you really believe that by calling someone a robot is a good way to convince them to change his/her minds?

Personally, I feel the same as Michelle Obama about this country that I love. I remember as a child that I had to sit in colored waiting rooms when I went to the doctor. I remember having to go to separate movie theaters and I also remember having to go to separate facilities and separate eating areas. I have always been told that I am a second class person because I am black and I still LOVE this country and I too, have never been REALLY proud of my country until I began to see for myself that people are voting for a qualified black American. This was unheard of for me to even see, dream or think about as a child. Michelle Obama is not angry but realistic and knows how it is to be treated as less than human and as a second class citizen; but she as I, truly loves this country. I understand and can relate to her.

Please stop bad-mouthing people based on what the right wing media wants you to believe. Just because someone doesn’t believe in celebrating Christmas as you do, does not make them non- Christians; not everyone has to be in lock step with your beliefs to be a Christian. I too believe that Christmas is too commercialized, but I Truly love the Lord. He is my Lord and Savior and I trust in Him for everything. After you have made such nasty remarks about Senator Obama and his wife, I question why you would believe in Christmas, the birthday of the Lord, who teaches us to love our neighbors and to pray for those you are our enemies.

If you would have asked me to pray for the Obama’s because they are not Christians and need the Lord in their lives, then maybe your rants would have credibility and could sway others to consider your point of view. The manner in which you have tried to tear down the Obama’s is appalling and you have not made a convincing argument by demeaning those who support the Obama’s not because he’s black, but because he is Qualified.

John McCain was a poor student and admits that he doesn’t understand the economy. I do believe that he is a patriot and would never tear him down as you have done Senator Obama. There are a number of facts that I could use here to tear him down, but I am above that.

It appears that some Reverends have an agenda which is not reverent. That agenda is to discredit those who do not practice as you practice. I studied under the Jehovah’s Witness faith as a child and they also do not celebrate Christmas as we do. I’m sure that we can all agree that the true meaning of Christmas has been commercialized to the degree that some folks don’t even know why we celebrate Christmas. Many only want a present and some get upset if they are not given anything. As for me, when I child my mom wanted to give gifts but did not have the money to buy them.

My most poignant memory about Christmas was when my mom came to my sister and me and said. “I don’t have the money to buy you anything this year.” She did private home work back in the day and cleaned the homes of white folks. She said that she was saddened because they appeared to have a lot of money and were able to buy for their children and expressed sadness because she did not have the money to buy us gifts. Has the thought ever occurred to you that maybe the Obama’s are looking at this from the perspective of poor people as opposed to the Muslim tradition?

We should not strive on creating doubt about the Obama’s based on negativity. I take Mr. Obama at his word when he says he is not a Muslim. Then what if he was? Not all Muslims are bad people. I can think of a few Christians that I would not want to socialize with based on their hypocrisy.
