Angelina Jolie Twins Conceived Through In Vitro?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt turned to fertility treatments to conceive twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, reports Us Weekly.
“They conceived through in vitro fertilization,” a source tells the mag. “They both desperately wanted more babies soon.”
Apparently the chance of having fraternal twins at Angelina’s age (33) naturally is under 1 percent; with in vitro, the chances are 25 percent.
Continues the source, “[Angie did it so] she wouldn’t have to deal with the stress of trying to get pregnant. She could just knock it out.”
FYI: In vitro fertilization costs around $12,000 per procedure.

If she had had invitro, the twins would not have been a surprise. When you have invitro, you expect two or more babies. So that shoots down the theory that she had invitro.

Maybe the papps were just trying to follow instructions Mr. Pitt.

That was on the street, not inside his house. It is illegal to take pics inside anyone’s compound both in California or France. You people take one sentence and twist it to your comfort.

hightimes - I have to agree…embarrassing shots proving him, in fact, NOT to be the ‘one who invented fatherhood’ ….AND the papps were getting too close for comfort. Next shot might have been of the twins which would have ruined the multi-million dollar baby pimping deal.
I don’t care how Angelina Jolie had the twins, just that she had them. I cannot believe that she is now the mother of six!!!!!!!
Wowee wowee. I can’t wait to see the babies. I am so hoping that one of them looks like she looked when she was a baby, hence her name Jolie which mean something like beautiful in French.
I keep thinking that Knox will be one baby who is blessed with Angelina’s features.

I’m sure you are aware there are pics of him with Pax riding on his lap in a cart at the 9th ward in New Orleans and I’m sure you know it was taken in a public place. Did you hear anything about the lawyers pulling the pics? no. Once again your contribution is bogus. I’m sure he knows something about putting the kids in a cart like in the mall that you do not know about.

I READ THE US LIES WEAKLY…and crap like this underscores why I call them by that name…cuz “lame” doesn’t even begin to cover it…
I’ve mostly been out of the loop the last 2 days (I’m sure my stalkers have missed me and prolly put out an FBI Manhunt for me), so I haven’t had chance to read the thread yet, but early tonight I did have a chance to read the US Lies Weakly. The story was written by the same neurosurgeon slash nuclear physicist slash rocket scientest slash tabloid writer who wrote US’ last great Angie magnus opus, “Angelina Jolie: Her Twisted Double Life”. The chick’s name is “Mara Rothstein,” although I’m sure that’s an alias because if I wrote this shite for a living I’d use an alias, too.
Once again Min & Co. has penned a “story” based on the the flimiest of information, the ever-popular “a source inside the Jolie-Pitt camp”. Meaning, “We had no hope in hell of scoring those baby pix, but we gotta sell some copies because are best advertisers are dumping us for OK and Star, who’s sales are up slightly while ours are down 4.1% for the last 5 months. It’s not our fault Brit’s on meds! Who’d have thought the public wouldn’t buy our bachelor, bachelorette, Speidi or Lauren’s revenge issues? No one could have predicted that!” Ummm….actually US…WE could have predicted that, but you didn’t ask us…
And basically that’s all US has…so-and-so who knows the former first-grade teacher of the fake Holly, who hangs out at Perez, Dlisted and Shemale First, heard from Fake Holly that Angie and Brad wanted to skip the months of hot, nekkid, sweaty, groaning, moaning, screaming and furniture-breaking sex and jump right to the preggers part because Angie couldn’t wait to spend 2 months heaving her guts out every morning, sometimes at lunch and occasionally in the evenings, endure 4-5 months of “bump watch” and “I heard it’s septuplets” talk , then gain 45 pounds, wave bye-bye to her ankles, which are fugly becuase they’re swollen the size of The Urinator’s megalith cabeza anyway, run to the bathroom every 5 minutes, have everyone ask her, “Are you feeling alright?” and “Should you be lifting that cup of water? I thought the doctor told you to rest?” and generally have every media organization on the planet act like “Children of Men” wasn’t a just a movie and she really IS having the first children born on the planet since…well…since SHILOH!
Honestly…the whole article is a big ass waste of paper. It’s filled with old quotes from both Brad and Angie about how they want a large family and they want to do it while they’re young, Brad’s quote about have 3 kids and next year having 6, then 9 or a soccer team’s worth. Then they recycle that stupid rumor about Brad wanting bio kids over adoptions that’s been floating around since shortly before they adopted Pax when everyone was speculating if Angie was preggers again.
This salvo is then backed up with “source” claiming that Brad wanted a bio son…but then the dipshit shoot themselves in the foot with a sidebar saying July 29 would have been Brad & X’s 8th Biggest Mistake Of The Millenium Anniversary and how even as the marriage was falling about and the break-up announcement was weeks away that Brad was telling Diane Sawyer that family & kids were on his brains and how he wanted little girls because, “…they crush me. They just break my heart.” BUT…he pushed Angie to do the in vitro cuz he wanted a bio son. And no, US never once addressed the fact that you don’t know when the embryos are implanted if it’s going to be a boy or a girl. They just state that Brad and Angie were so antsy to have another baby and Angie wanted to avoid the stress of trying to get preggers, they cut to the chase and went the IVF route.
And, BTW, they said Dr. Rothbart doesn’t do IVF, so that means they called his office pretending to be a possible patient and pumped the secretary for info! You know…just like the professionals at Time, Newsweek and US News & World Report…cuz after all, Min DOES call US and “entertainment NEWS magazine”. If tell yourself something often enough you really DO start to believe your own lies.

Again, hypocrisy. Britney Spears can’t make a parental wrong move without the world cracking open and the flames of media hell burning her ass. But excuses, excuses, excuses for the favored one, Brad Pitt.
As far as motivation for removing the pics, I am being facetious when I agree Brad Pitt cares about the bad press. Of course he doesn’t care. He doesn’t think he GETS bad press. He thinks all the world is worshiping at his feet and no one would dare criticize him for anything.
But he does want to make sure those pics of the twins don’t get out before he gets paid. That I firmly believe. ;-)
They do anything to sell their magazines, especially using the JOLIE-PITTS names.
Yeah,sure, waste your breath haters, like the world’s sexiest couple isn’t having sex. Are you sane? Talk about a moot and speculative slander, the twins are here, suck it up…..you can’t deal so ramble on about how they were conceived. Hate only corrodes the vessel in which it is carried….why don’t you channel all that negative energy into kicking old ladies, it’s on the same level as this assault on truth.
US Weekly has a long history of posting false stories. This is one of them I believe. Even if there is truth to this there is nothing wrong with it. I’ve known people who had to get help to have a baby. It is not less loving to have a baby that way. It takes months and sometimes years not weeks to pan out like US weekly implies.
Facts are :
1 Angelina says they were surprised
2. Angelina’s Mom died of ovarian cancer. Invitro increases channces ogf getting Ovarion cancer. Why in the world would Angelina increase her chances of getting Ovarion cancer even further esp when they have not had any problem conceiving before. In fact she stated they got pregnant with Shiloh very quickly.
3. Brad/ Angelina based on comments/interviews / time reccommended after c-section birth to have another baby probably did not first attempt to have another bio baby until the fall of 2007. Since Angelina got pregnant in late fall . Why on earth would they attempt invitro if they had only been trying a few weeks to a couple of months. What competant OB/gyn which Angelina has one would agree to such a procedure so soon esp given Angelina’s family history with Ovarian cancer.
4. Twins run on both sides of the Jolie-Pitt union. There are increased chances after age 30.
All these facts p[oint to the story being a bunch of hooey.
Let me state again that fans are not bothered if there was truth to this. It does not make their wanting to be a family less wonderful. In fact it would make it more poignant because they had to go through something to fullfill dreams.
What I dislike is tabloids like US Weekly posting lies/fake stories about them and return having a few hateful, immature gullible people trying to make invitro a bad think and acting like it lessens what the Jolie-Pitts have found together.

Angelina Jolie: Being Pregnant with Twins Was a ‘Shock’
Angelina Jolie has talked candidly about her desire to continue expanding her family with Brad Pitt. But when the actress found out she was pregnant with twins, well, even she was taken aback.
“We weren’t expecting twins,” Jolie, 33, tells Entertainment Weekly in a new interview. “So it did shock us, and we jumped to six [children] quickly. But we like a challenge.”
With a house full of kids, Jolie says she needs help – so it’s a good thing there’s family around to pitch in. “[Brad’s] mom and dad are on standby to come out and help,” she says.
But the real focus, Jolie says, is making sure their other children – Maddox, 6, Pax, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 2 – feel included when their new siblings are born. Says the actress: “They’re old enough to feel included to change diapers themselves, to feed bottles themselves, like if I pump into a bottle. We’re trying to find ways where it can be a fun group thing … Everybody gets special time so we can make sure we know where they’re at.”
As for how she’s handling being pregnant with twins, the actress tells EW she’s taking it easy and letting Pitt handle all the heavy lifting – literally. “We’ve worked out a system where Brad just lifts [the kids] to me every time they want to come up,” she says. “I just don’t bend down. I’ll scream, ‘Honey!’ and he’ll come running and lift them up.”
And pregnancy has other benefits as well. “It’s great for the sex life,” she says. “It just makes you a lot more creative. So you have fun, and as a woman you’re just so round and full.”

Angie is always honest. She has admitted to everything, even taking pills. I believe her. People believe in her, that is why no amount of lies can take her down. She and her family are blessed by God.

#350 Who care how they write as long as they get their point across. You have to remember this is the world wide web and many fans can not write the language well because English may not be their first language. But I admire that they try.
